Spectacular Stay!!! Cannot say enough good things about this home … beautiful inside and out, plenty of space, stunning surroundings, and marvelous host! Wanda has thought of everything!!! Excellent communication and great recommendations! Got to see Mt Rushmore, Custer State Park, Crazy Horse, Sylvan Lake, wildlife Loop, Needles Hwy, and had lunch at the Purple Pie Place. Also - had a great meal and live music at Gaslight right down the road. Hope to be back someday!!!

Great location, just a few minutes off the main road but feels tucked away and very peaceful. House was clean and very well set up for our family reunion time. Multiple washer and dryers was a nice surprise! Would definitely recommend this house, Wanda was great to communicate with throughout the stay and leading up to it. Apple tree upfront was a great bonus and made a tasty treat that night!!

We loved this house! It was a fantastic location- you can see part of Mt. Rushmore with binoculars from the deck. We saw deer everyday on the property. There was lots of space for 2 families- 4 adults and 5 children totaal. The large deck is wonderful for the children to play or to eat dinner together. The house has everything you need and also lots of board games to play together. It felt like 'home'We would love to stay here again:)

Family Vacation

Wonderful house and host! Communication was excellent! The property itself is perfect; we had 6 adults and 4 kiddos and more than enough room for everyone. The view off the deck is breathtaking. The location of the home to all the sites we wanted to see was absolutely perfect! I'd give it 10 stars if I could!

A week in the hills

We traveled from Pennsylvania to celebrate our father's 70th birthday and not being in the Black Hills since he was 15. This house was perfect it had everything we needed and more! It was very clean and stocked with some essentials. There are lot of different parks and attractions within an hour from the property. The host is very helpful and accommodating, she even keeps an open line of communication with you during your stay. We will definitely be back. Oh yea you can see George Washington from the deck how cool!!

Best-ever rental experience!

The entire rental experience with this house and its owner was nothing but a joy. The house is in an ideal location, nestled by itself on top of a quiet hill. So the views were phenomenal! But you don't have to venture far to get to this idyllic spot since it's very close to all the sights to see in the Black Hills. I stayed with my wife and our two teenage children, who each had plenty of space for themselves (and their own floor so my wife and I could be off by ourselves). We visited Needles, Rushmore, Custer State Park, Hill City, Wind Cave, and other places while we were there. Never once did we feel like we were far from anything. The house is also ridiculously well-stocked - far better than any other rental house we've ever been in before. If you forgot something, she probably had it ready. And labeled! It made us feel like family. The A/C worked great, there was plenty of room to spread out, and we were even able to park our vehicle in the garage. And the owner, Wanda, was just wonderful - so helpful and responsive. My only regret was that we were not able to stay longer. With this house, its location, and its welcoming host, I would have been happy to stay an entire month. This house has my highest recommendation, and I'd encourage any potential renter to look no further. Truly the best-ever.

Beautiful location!

This house is conveniently located close to Rapid City, but is in a secluded location with a fantastic view of the Black Hills from the deck. When Wanda said it was stocked with anything we would need, she wasn’t kidding! It was also extremely clean. I would recommend this house, and wouldn’t hesitate to stay again.

Great house with a great view

We truly enjoyed our stay here. The house is very spacious, very clean and well organized. The kitchen is very well stocked if you plan on cooking there. Th location of the house was great for our week there to enjoy all there is to do in the area. We really enjoyed relaxing on the deck in the morning and evenings. The views were amazing and it was neat to be able to see the profile of George Washington lit up at night off in the distance. Wanda was an amazing host to work with. She was very responsive and helpful. We would recommend this place to our family and friends who vacation in South Dakota.

Wonderful home for large family gathering! We had plenty of room for hanging out, cooking and playing games. Location was so perfect......not too far from Rapid City but close enough to things we wanted to do in the Black Hills! The house was stocked with everything you could think of! Highly recommend! "Spectacular Views"

The scenery and view of the mountains with Mount Rushmore in the background were worth the stay! We especially enjoyed seeing President Washington lit at night. The property was perfect for morning coffee, walks, grilling and sitting under the stars. The house was large and spacious and well stocked with everything imaginable. The kitchen and dining area was perfect for 5 adults preparing breakfast, prepping ice chests for picnicking, and putting away groceries etc. Wanda had everything for day excursions (coolers, ice chests, etc.) and also shared money and time saving tips. She had dedicated shelves of personal and cooking items and toiletries. This was very helpful since we traveled by air. Pleasant memories already!

BEST VRBO EVER for Seven Seniors in our Seventies!

This house and owners are amazing in every way! Large and accommodating, many extras included, not found anywhere else. Attention to detail was evident in each area. Views were amazing and location for all our sightseeing was the best. Lots of history of the Grovers too! Wanda was so responsive and helpful. I would rate this a TEN!

The property is a short drive to anywhere you want to go in the Black Hills. It is also spacious and easily accommodated our party of eight. Everything was well stocked and the property manager was available for any questions or concerns. We would definitely stay here again!

What a gem!

Wanda’s property in the Black Hills is amazing! She has all your kitchen, bathroom, bedroom amenities covered! So many extras for tenants to use! The deck and views are fantastic! Checkin process was easy and all communication was very prompt and friendly. I highly recommend this property! It comfortably fit 6 adults and 4 kids plus a 2 yo in a pack n play in one of the bedrooms. Great location to highway and recreational sites/activities. We can’t wait to come back!!
