The house is great and can accommodate a crowd. It was much more than we needed but glad to have it.The place was clean, as rentals go. The bathrooms were great. Lots of linen. The kitchen cookware was amazing- everything you need and in GREAT shape. Sharp knives, great silverware. Coming and going was easy. Great access to the city and surrounding areas. AN AMAZING DOG PARK right down the street. Not an official dog park but lots of dogs off leash. Walking paths, playground. Good shopping nearby. Restaurants. It's not 5 stars due to something the owner can't do anything about- the driveway and stairs. It would be impossible for someone with a disability. Luckily we are not disabled so it was fine but our car bottomed out every time due to the angle. As I say nothing can be done about it.I would absolutely stay here again. I wish I could have been able to reach Ryan more easily than using Vrbo messaging

The property was clean and comfortable. The beds were extremely comfortable. I thought about pulling up the sheets to see what kind of mattress it was. Otherwise it was pretty much as listed.

House was clean & well supplied. Garbage was overflowing in garage, likely due to prior guests not placing city containers at the curb as instructed. Ryan gave us a partial refund for the trouble. Other than that and the steep driveway, which was noted in the listing, it was perfect for our family group!

This house was wonderful for our visit to Rapid City and the surrounding National Parks. It was well stocked with essentials like TP, paper towels, coffee filters, soap, etc which was nice to not have to buy locally. We had a minor issue that the host responded to quickly. The listing is accurate that the driveway is super steep- we parked on the street. Our kids loved the photo props and deco wall. I would recommend this property.

We loved that everything was labeled. The linen, towels and carpets were very plush! The view from the living room is beautiful! We would stay here again :)

Very nice house! We really enjoyed our stay here. The house was very clean and very spacious. The only downfall was the very steep driveway and very small yard. We would highly recommend this house for a place to stay.

Little garbage cans in bathrooms had garbage in them. Hair tie,spoon and plastic under the bed in master bedroom.

Overall a good stay

A nice house with good location! House is very big and comfortable! The downside is that the house was not well cleaned when we arrived: trash not picked up, crumbs on dining table and one of the bedrooms the sheets were not changed! Also 2 toilets were not working properly and we had to adjust to make them work!

Clean & Close by

The property was well taken care of and had all of the necessities we needed. Easy to get back into Rapid as well. The properties only downfall is the steep driveway. It is clearly communicated in the listing so we knew going into it and were able to adapt accordingly.

Location & Comfort Perfect Stay

We had a great time staying here in April. We were looking for a home in the Rapid City area to use as home base for day trips into the black hills, badlands, & surrounding areas. We selected this home based on reviews, location & cost. My wife & I visited this area 4 years ago & this time brought my in-laws, to check some places off their bucket list. Renting this home was cheaper than two hotel rooms. The house was very spacious & comfortable and had room for more people. The benefit of having a VRBO home like this one, was having time together hanging out as a family. We ate breakfast together & enjoyed playing games & planning our next day adventure during the evening. We took funny pictures on the selfie background /wall in the house. Drawers in the kitchen / bathroom area were labeled and made things convenient. There are blow dryers in all bathrooms (not described) which was nice & plenty of toilet paper. Another benefit of this home was having a washer & dryer machine. I prepared for the steep driveway & the potential for snow. I rented a higher profile SUV (dodge durango) & had no issues driving into the garage. I did have to use the snow shovel (provided) one morning to clear the driveway of snow. I also took the trash & recycling bins down & back up the driveway for trash day (Tuesday). I’m age 51 & wore my hiking shoes both times & had no issues. Not sure my wife or in-laws could do this so please prepare. We would definitely rent this beautiful home again.

Good location

My family and I were staying for a tournament in town. It was convenient to get to all the areas we needed. Good space for kids to hang out. Had some challenges with the TV, and the host had great communication to assist. Will look to stay here again in the future.

Excellent house

This house was perfect for us! In our party we had 2 seniors, 3 adults and 2 kids under 10 years old. Plenty of rooms and bathrooms (the downstairs area was perfect for our parents where they had their own space - bedroom, bathroom and lounge area). The house was fully stocked which was really nice. It’s also walking distance to a nice playground and a gas station - super convenient. Overall, excellent experience!

Rapid city family reunion

It was the perfect size and layout for us. It had everything we needed. We love that it is pet friendly. The host is super easy to communicate with. This is our second time staying at this property.

Great place!!

We originally booked 2 days and wanted to add another night and found the owner very accommodating and helped us with this short notice on several different requests. The place was great for our stay and really liked having 3 separate bathrooms, the driveway is pretty steep but that was disclosed in listing. It’s easy to get to and close to many great food places also. Would absolutely stay again.
