Breath of Fresh Air
This was a wonderful cabin in a great location. Traffic on our road was minimal, and the stream beside the place was lovely. After being out and about all day every day, it was really nice to come back to the cabin, fix some dinner, and sit outside by the fire pit until well after dark. If we are ever back in the area, we won’t hesitate to stay there again!

Great location
This cabin was perfect for us. It was rainy and cold most of the time we were there but that did not stop us from getting in the hot tub and just listening to everything around us. The location could not have been better. We visited everything from Mount Rushmore, Crazy Horse to Devils Tower and the Badlands and getting to all of those places was so easy from this cabin. Thanks again for sharing it with us.

Perfection
My husband and I enjoyed our stay at this perfectly located cabin. It was clean and comfortable. Location was ideal for visiting all of the parks in the area. Neighbors were friendly. The hot tub was amazing after a day of hiking. Would definitely stay again!

Beautiful Setting
Property is in a beautiful setting. Hot tub is great. Had what we needed in the kitchen and nice to have lots of towels for shower/hot tub. The reason for four stars is that the house had a lot of strong, plug-in fragrance things that we unplugged, but then the downstairs room had a really strong musty/moldy smell. Not sure how to address this without tearing out drywall, but fixing this would make it 5-star.

The drains and water lines were all cleaned out from the winter and the odor has been removed. Plug-in fragrances have also been replaced with fewer, more subtle alternatives for a clean, fresh smell.

Creek with a hot tub
Perfect location close to everything we wanted to do. Away from town and nice and quiet. Yet we were close enough to town to run in, and right in the center of all of the attractions.The sounds of the creek were so beautiful. The hot tub was perfect for the cold weather or after a long day of hiking and tired bones. Pictures don't do the place justice. Very pleased. Beds were nice. Lots of room for our family, and plenty of table space. We didn't even have to buy coffee! My husband was pleased with the many TV streaming options. Thank you for a beautiful week. It was perfect.

Fantastic cabin!
This cabin has everything you need for a stay in the Black Hills. The location is great- a quiet place to relax after a busy day. The property is immaculately clean. The hot tub is toasty and 2 steps from the door (great in the snow/cold). We didn’t spend any time on the patio due to the cold, but the view is great from that side of the cabin. We would love to come back in the summer!

What a wonderful place!
The photos don't do this justice. This cabin is located at the edge of a national forest and the setting along the creek is gorgeous. Deer, turkeys and birds are frequent visitors, and there is a waterfall within walking distance down the street. The cabin is 2-story with the kitchen, living room and bathroom on the top level and 2 bedrooms and separate bath downstairs. We were a party of 4 and had plenty of space. The spa is outside on the 2nd level, private and perfect.The 1st level has a gas grill and gas fire pit outside. Kitchen is well-equipped--just bring groceries! TV n the living area is large and has lots of options, if you have the time. Would absolutely stay here again.

10/10 Perfect stay! House had everything we needed and more! Quiet, beautiful scenery with just the right amount of extras, including a gas fire pit on the back patio, facing the creek. Well stocked with your basic needs as well. Huge perk for people like me who require coffee, were the stocked k cups! We booked with the intent to hike. The location was centrally located for our destinations (black hills, custard state park and badlands).

Nice and convenient
The house is nothing extra, the 2 bedrooms are downstairs and one of the bathrooms is upstairs, but it was clean and the outside seating area was nice with a gas fire pit and a beautiful stream. Location is really nice to see all of western South Dakota.

Beautiful little country home
We spent the 1 year anniversary of my moms death as a family in this cute, quaint little home. Eric was super friendly, and prompt to respond to questions. The home was clean, and had all the amenities we needed. The hot tub was a great addition. Wild turkeys, and the view made our little family get together amazing. Thank you so much. We will recommend.

Quiet and clean!
My son asked to stay at a place with a hot tub, and this fit the bill! The neighborhood is very quiet. The cabin was clean and tidy and has cute cabin decor; the more you look, the more you see! The bedrooms are on the lower level, and the bathrooms are spacious. The owners clearly worked hard at careful renovations! Its a quick drive into Rapid City for food and activities, but there is a full kitchen and a grill if you want to make your own food.

Little Piece of Heaven
If you love the outdoors & sounds of a rolling creek this is the place for you. Great place to stay, very clean, well supplied with basic essentials & only 10 minutes from Rapid City. Our stay was wonderful & would book again!!!

Great location near Rapid City but also a great spot for Custer, Hill City, and Deadwood. Hot tub along the creek was a great touch. Would recommend and hope to stay again.

Peaceful Retreat
This property was a gem in the chaos of the tourism of keystone and hill city. We traveled through the area, and ended our days with a nice dinner at the cabin and a dip in the hot tub. Excellent place!

Black hill family vacation
This was a beautiful cabin. Very clean well maintained. Plenty of room for a family. The creek was beautiful and wonderful to listen to. The hot tub was a great way to start or end the day!! I would stay here again!

The property was very clean and well located. There were a few items that I felt were missing in the kitchen-only one wine glass, no cereal bowls except for plastic ones, no wine opener (that I could find). But overall it was a great stay.

Serene, Private Getaway
We had a very pleasant stay here. The sounds of the creek are so relaxing, and the property is secluded and private but still an easy drive to Rapid City and the rest of the Black Hills. There was no body wash or soap for the showers, perhaps an oversight, and no curtains in the main bedroom which made for some very early mornings. Eric was responsive when I had questions before and during the stay. Would definitely stay here again!

Cozy cabin on the river
We arrived to the most adorable little cozy cabin, right on the river. My family enjoyed playing in the river and roasting marshmallows at night. The house was clean and put together and easy to access. The owners were easy to get in touch with as we had to get in touch with them because we acquired a lovely dog. The cabin is definitely centrally located and you’ll enjoy lots of drives in both directions for scenic routes. We would definitely stay again.

Amazing!
This cabin and location are superb! The cabin is located just 10 miles west of Rapid City, but it is situated in a gorgeous off the beating path area. The kitchen and living room area are on the main floor as well as a full bathroom. The hot tub deck is upstairs as well - very convenient. Downstairs are 2 full bedrooms and another bathroom with shower and washer/dryer. The cabin is in excellent condition, the WiFi works great as well. Eric and Stef were quite responsive and due to challenging weather conditions, offered us an extra day at the cabin. This was a terrific break for us, we will absolutely return!

Peaceful Getaway
We were very pleased with the overall location and peacefulness that this cabin has to offer. Along with the beautiful views that surrounded the cabin, the inside was also phenomenal. Everything was clean and all the amenities were just as described. We really appreciated the seclusion that this cabin has to offer and would most definitely look forward to visiting again in the future!

Perfect 1st Black Hills Experience
My husband and I loved this house and location. Not too far from civilization but isolated enough to feel alone in the woods on a riverside. Got to see wild turkeys crossing the driveway and enjoyed clear starry skies in the hot tub to the sound of flowing water. The house had all the amenities needed for cooking and preparing meals. The only suggestion I have is to have some fishing poles available :). Not something I would carry on a plane or buy in town.

Great getaway!
Property was just as described. Eric quickly resolved a problem with the lower bathroom lights and my wife and I had a wonderful stay! Really enjoyed the hot tub and watching the wildlife near the creek every morning at breakfast! Highly recommend this cabin!!

Absolutely wonderful and will definitely stay again and agian
The scenery is amazing! We drank our coffee on the deck while listening to the creek ripple by, peaceful. House was very clean and had everything we needed. We have rented alot of houses in the area and this one is our new favorite. Owners are super nice and easy to work with. Hot tub was relaxing and perfect way to end the day. Our kids said their favorite thing we did was walk the road that follows the creek. We found turkey feathers, saw deer and rabbits, and friendly neighbors walking their dogs. Thank you for the wonderful stay, we were very impressed!
