The room I stayed in was near the road and boiler/ air conditioning so it was very noisy so I slept very badly. The fire alarm went off early in the morning and we didn't get any information from the staff so didn't know if it was safe to return to our rooms. Although geographically it worked well I wouldn't stay there again."

"I rarely leave negative reviews, but this experience was unacceptable. I stayed in Room 0, and just before going to bed I discovered that there was no water at all in the shower or taps. After a long, hot day, not being able to shower was extremely frustrating. What made the situation worse was that I tried calling the emergency contact number, but no one answered. I also attempted to contact reception and received no response there either. This wasn't just a maintenance issue—it was a failure...

"A lovely hotel with character situated in the centre of Norwich, a stones throw from the cathedral, Elm Hill and numerous restaurants, pubs and coffee shops. A bonus is electric car chargers in the car park (£10 overnight plus £5 for charging - good value)."
