We came up here for a bachelor party weekend and The Inn was perfect for our needs! We had ample space and every accommodation we could need. The host was communicative and helpful, providing everything we needed up front and I would have felt very supported if we had needed any assistance during the stay. Would be happy to return!

We had a great family reunion at this wonderful Inn. We enjoyed the spacious living room and loved the large dining room where we could all dine together. The pool was closed for the season but several of us appreciated the new hot tub. The rooms were clean, the beds very comfortable and the location was perfect for us. The host promptly responded to our questions. We would definitely stay again!

The Inn at Bowman was the perfect location for our large family reunion in honor of my mother’s 90th birthday. The property was spacious and beautiful, just as described in the listing. The views are absolutely stunning.We had an issue when we arrived with an infestation of lady bugs because of the rapid change of weather, but Ben was very responsive and it was taken care of. After that everything went smoothly.We loved the variety of public spaces, eg the kitchen with it’s small dining area, the big living room and dining room, and the den off of the kitchen. We absolutely loved the hot tub.The only issue we had was that the house is not accessible for anyone with mobility issues, eg there are areas with steps leading from one room to another, and the steps down to the dining room don’t have a banister. This was challenging to some of our older family members. But overall it was a wonderful week for us and we would definitely come again.

The home is lovely and spacious, and our family enjoyed their stay. We had a wonderful week together enjoying the gorgeous views and large gathering spaces. Would love to return there sometime. That being said, there were some issues with mice and a non-working hot tub which many of our group were hoping to use. The owner did respond quickly on the mice issue once we realized it was not a one-time sighting and had trapped several. Think the inoperable hot tub issue should have been made known prior to our arrival. Overall, it is a lovely home in breathtaking surroundings and the owner is responsive to issues.

Great family vacation. The property is perfect for a large group. Plenty of room to spread out or be together. Ben is attentive and very responsive when something comes up. Rooms are extremely comfortable and clean. We were disappointed that the hot tub was not working and couldn’t be fixed during our stay but the pool was so much fun for all.

Maintenance issues

I booked this place for a family reunion. The accommodations were great, with spacious rooms, each with a bathroom, and a great pool. The large living room and dining room were great for gathering all of us together. BUT there were some major maintenance issues! The air conditioning was not adequate in the common areas, and one bedroom had no working air conditioning at all! During our first night there, the baseboard heaters were on and the room was unbearably hot! I contacted the host, and he sent the caretaker to help. He managed to turn off the heaters, and then put in a portable air conditioner in that room. We had missing remotes for the televisions, and some televisions that never worked. This would have been a wonderful setting for our reunion, but the maintenance definitely needs to be improved!

Team Bonding 2024

This vacation rental was an excellent location to have a team retreat with friends that have an excellent bonding experience. It's great to have privacy for everyone and big public spaces. The owner was so helpful and having the groundskeeper on site was definitely handy when anything came up. Thank you for the space to create such great memories.

Beautiful vacation rental

We had an amazing time as 3 generations of family and friends gathered for a week at the beautiful Inn at Bowman in Randolph, NH. The house was amazing with each bedroom having a private bathroom and multiple bedrooms with multiple bed space that were perfect for the young families who had children so they could all stay together. There was plenty of gathering space for watching the Olympics and a room where the kids could watch their cartoons and play. The kitchen was perfect with plenty of plates, cups, pots and pans. Eating was a delight as we filled the main dining room and utilized more space off the kitchen. The heated pool and hot tub were a delight to young and old. Sightseeing was with in a short drive and even a long hike within walking distance. Highly recommend, Lost River Gorge and Boulder Caves, Mt Washington Cog RR, Storyland, Diana's Baths, Flume River Gorge. The view from the front porch and pool is beautiful. Wal Mart is a short drive into town. Check in was easy and Ben was awesome in answering questions prior to our stay. Thank you Ben for offering this beautiful space as a large vacation for reunion groups.

Family Weekend Extravaganza

Close to Santa's Village, great pool with exceptional mountain views. Lots of refrigerators and main kitchen worked great for multiple people preparing food. Our entire group of 26 were able to eat together in the oversized dining room.

Great for a large group

With a large family group, it was great that there were 12 bedrooms, each with its own bathroom. The large dining room could fit all 20 at the table. Beautiful views of the Presidential Range. Nicely secluded, but on a busy, main road. A short (15 minute) drive to town centers and a Super Walmart. However, there were some problems with the property. One bedroom's A/C didn't work. We were told about this just prior to arrival but it was never fixed during our stay and the repair crew didn't arrive until Thursday (our arrival was on Saturday) and couldn't repair the damage. One bedroom in the Carriage House had a strong, musty odor that no amount of cleaning could eradicate. The hot tub was not fully functioning. Other reviews noted this issue. We were surprised to learn that not all rooms in the carriage House connected to a central entrance. The mixed match of pots and pans, with only on pot with a lid and only one good frying pan, didn't fit with a building designed for large groups. We had requested to have the two rollaway beds available. Upon arrival they were in place, but both were broken. We reported this issue and said that we could make do without them.

Wonderful home with pool. Mount Washington climb was enjoyed by all as well as hikes. Good restaurants 10 miles East especially Nonna’s Italian Would stay again!

Overall a good experience

The property has a couple of maintenance issues that the owner could not avoid. A couple of other issues were brought to Bens attention and were corrected by the following day. The location is very quiet and well suited for 18 adults that enjoy motorcycle riding. Roads were a 8/10 and any supplies needed were within a 15 minute drive. I would recommend this place to future travellers.

Siblings Trip

The house met our needs. I appreciated that Ben was very easy to contact and his timeliness to responding to calls and texts was outstanding!!! The rooms are spacious and the bathrooms in every room was great. The pool and hot tub were added bonuses and we definitely acted like the youths we were in the days of old. The views of the mountains were breathtaking!!! We were sooo thankful to wake up every morning and view God’s handiwork!!!! We made a lot of memories and more than enjoyed our trip!!! Thanks Ben for allowing me and my family to share in the wonders of the area by making your home available to us.

Great retreat in the White Mountains

We had a large group (~18) that stayed at the Bowman Inn during the off season (early May). The property was as advertised and provided a spacious, peaceful location for our group's retreat. Easy access to hiking and good indoor and outdoor spaces to relax on site. Definitely recommend for other large groups!

Comfy house with great views and plenty of space

Very comfortably accommodated twelve adults for a long weekend. Easy to get to, unmistakeable from U.S. 2, and within about 15 minutes of a wal mart supercenter for anything you forgot to bring (we made multiple trips there). Road noise is barely noticeable from inside or back yard and did not bother any of us. Both the host and caretaker were responsive and helpful. We were disappointed by the hot tub being unexpectedly out of commission during our stay but the host was very accommodating and went out of his way to make sure we were comfortable. Would love to return in warmer weather to experience the pool!
