"Convenient, mid-state location. Set up for large group but worked for the two of us. Everything was fine, but the lighting in the master bedroom was bad as well as the lighting in the living room. Soap for the shower would be a reasonable item to provide as well as a garbage can with a lid on it for the kitchen."

"We had the best stay at Romantic Retreat. Jeff is a wealth of knowledge about Vermont & things to do. His website is so helpful! The cabin was so cozy, clean, and well stocked with everything we could want or need. We enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub after hiking, looking at the stars, and watching some post season baseball on the projector. We hope to be back again someday!"

"Pictures are exactly like the unit. This was the best communication for a stay that we have had. There is construction currently but don’t let that stop a stay. This is a first floor unit and so easy for pet owners. It was fantastic. Jeff (owner) was so awesome and even sent us a drawer of clothes that my daughter left. I look forward to more stays!"

"Kayla and Nicholas were AMAZING! Having fabulous hosts makes every trip even better.We had to come to town last minute, just for the night, and their place was perfect. As other reviewers have noted, it's in a VERY ideal location--15 to 30 minutes from anything you'd want to explore: small towns, bigger towns, parks, hiking, it's truly a magical area.The field behind the house was perfect for an early morning romp with our dog.
