"The cottage was comfortable and well equipped. We were met by the owner, Mark, on arrival, who was very welcoming. He provided lots of local information, including walks and pubs marked on an OS map. The bedrooms were spacious and comfortable. There are several properties here, but all wirh separate entrances and outside seatinf areas so they feel private. It was a great base for a few days in the Suffolk countryside. "

"The farm that the hut was located in was great. Lots of animals around and it was really fun feeding the alpacas! Host was friendly and accommodating. Overall a great getaway from the city. Very close ( 100 metres) to the beach but on a quiet campus away from the noisy seaside “ attractions “. It is the old Sanitorium to the now closed Felixstowe College. "My experience at this hotel was disappointing. I chose it for one specific reason: the pool and spa, so I could enjoy some time with my 3-year-old son. But when we went to the area, we were told that children are not allowed. This crucial restriction, which should be clearly stated at the time of booking, completely undermined the purpose of our stay. The rooms are basic and dated. The mattress was so soft it affected the quality of sleep, and the overall condition of the accommodation feels worn out. Breakfast was another letdown: they didn’t even have bread — something simple, inexpensive, and essential in any decent buffet. The only positive point is the staff. They were polite, friendly, and attentive. Unfortunately, that alone doesn’t make up for the rest. Overall, I don’t recommend this hotel and I won’t be returning."
