"We had an amazing stay at this beautiful lakeside home! The view of the lake was absolutely stunning — perfect to wake up in the morning. We loved relaxing in the hot tub while taking in the peaceful scenery, and the kayaks were a great way to explore the water right from the property. The house was clean, well-equipped, and felt very welcoming. It was the perfect balance of comfort and nature. We can’t wait to come back!"

"We had a wonderful stay! The house was great, as described. We were happily surprised by the trampoline in the yard. We were a large group and the house accommodated us very well! The owners were quick to respond to messages. There were also basics in the kitchen like sugar and salt and coffee, which was very helpful. I will mention that the water did have a smell. Though it was safe to drink, we did prefer to drink out of bottled water during our stay. When I reached out to the property...

"Had an absolute wonderful time! My husband and I spent three nights and four days at the historic green door home. We were both able to fully recharge and relax and were dreaming of ways to stay for longer. Only travelled from just over an hour away but It was far enough from the loud city that it was remarkable how quiet ones surroundings become. Amazing amount of amenities offered and special touches all over the house. The host thought of everything! Highly recommend and would 100% return. ...

"The owner had removed the property and we apparently booked with some kind of zombie account. VRBO had not validated the listing but kept communicating everything was good to go. VRBO did book our party of nine hotel rooms. These were over a half hour from the property and no where near the beach. We had no facility to prepare the food we had brought and were forced to eat at restaurants the whole weekend. VRBO did ensure the accomodation was financially neutral, but it was still, overall, a...

"Another incredible stay! This cottage truly has everything you could wan and more. The photos don’t do it justice. It’s beautifully maintained, impeccably clean, and perfect for a relaxing getaway. The host is very responsive and thoughtful, making the entire experience seamless. The location is also ideal—close to Friday Harbour and great for swimming with its shallow, calm waters. You won’t regret booking this place!"

"This is a beautiful, well maintained cottage with all the amenities anyone would need. The property is private, quite large and the view is amazing. There is a very nice restaurant only a few minutes away. The only negative is that the lake is very weedy. You can’t really swim in it but that is no fault of the owner. It’s a nice lake to canoe, kayak or fish. If you’re not that interested in swimming, it’s perfect. "
