I could sit outside and enjoy sitting on the deck which is super close to the to the lake, but still feel part of whatever was going on in the house. "We had 12 people! We were all very happy to have a bed! Plenty of room to spread out. Very comfortable. Check-in was fine. Kitchen had everything we needed. We tried to use the ice maker but it appeared to leak so we just made ice cubes. Light over stove did not work. Plenty of towels was appreciated. I hope we left it in good shape. We tried really hard! Thanks"

"We stayed for 5 days/4 nights. It is a comfy older home, nicely decorated with lots of room. The host thought of pretty much anything you could need while on vacation and quickly responded to all communication. The furniture and beds were comfortable and our dog loved the porch and yard. We were there for a music festival and hope to come back again next year! "

"I booked the house for the Marji Gesick mountain bike race. I had five friends travel with me as a support crew. The house was excellent for our needs. Plenty of beds and 1.5 bathrooms. A well stocked and large kitchen and plenty of living space. Outdoors was a nice grill, screened in house on the lake and a canoe. I caught a pike right off the dock Friday! "It’s a very nice and clean cottage on a river. I stayed there because it was a central location to explore different places in the central Upper Peninsula. The location is a bit remote, being about 20 miles from a grocery store and restaurants, but I didn’t find that to be a major problem. All in all I had a pleasant experience and recommend this cottage to others."

"We had a wonderful stay at this cozy home up north! The house was just as described-clean, comfortable, and stocked with everything we needed for our trip. Its location made it especially convenient for exploring the area. We were able to visit Pictured Rocks, the sculpture park, and several beautiful waterfalls, all within a reasonable drive. "This place was great. We had a wonderful week at this lake house. We went out kayaking every day and especially on weekdays had the lake to ourselves. It was beautiful and relaxing. The house has every modern convenience even though it is surrounded by pristine nature. The drive out to this lake cabin is down a few dirt roads that aren't on Google Maps so it was good that we arrived during daylight hours at least the first time."
