Family stay for NCSU graduation

This was a nice home for our family to gather while we were in town for college graduation. It was very quiet and had all the comforts of home. We loved the spaciousness of the property and that everything was all on one level for the grandparents. We would definitely stay here again!

McKenzie's Wedding

Five nights, lots of driving around between Durham, Chapel Hill and Raleigh; well located for that. Systems, appliances in great shape; everything included in kitchen and bath; we cooked in (or take out) several times and it was all easy. Good grill, sitting by pond was chill.

Great house at a great location

The house has a lot of space for our family. It is clean and at a great location. We stayed in the house while visiting Duke University. It is a short drive to the campus.

A Nice Place to Stay

The house is very comfortable and easy. Everything is on one floor. The rooms are well furnished. The kitchen had everything we needed. We would definitely stay there again.

This house is lovely. We were in town for a graduation and the property delivered. There was enough space to be comfortable inside and out. Plenty of family friendly activities and top notch amenities. Comfortably furnished and a well stocked kitchen. My family and I will stay here again.

Great House and Location.

Property is exactly as advertised. Very nice and clean. Very nice property with great view of pond. Location is quiet and private buy with easy drive to Downtown Durham and only few minutes to South Point shopping center. Great hosts!

Great stay for graduation weekend

The place was well suited for our family. Sue was extremely responsive and made sure we were settled in her home and was available all weekend to answer any questions, if we had them. The house was clean, well-stocked and very comfortable for us. We were out the door early in the morning, otherwise we would have enjoyed having our coffee down by the lake!

A touch of country in the city

A great house located away from the hustle and bustle. The house was comfortable and had everything we needed. We walked and sat by the lake which was very relaxing. And although we were out from the city there's a big mall just two miles down the road as well as everything else a city like Durham has to offer. I would not hesitate to stay here again if I'm ever in the area.

We love this property! Quiet area, beautiful pond, very nicely stocked home. Our family of 5, ages 24-87, were very comfortable! Communication with our property manager was very prompt and very friendly! Absolutely no complaints and lots of praise! We would stay here again! Thanks Sue and JT!

Perfection!

Four gal pals spent a long weekend in this very comfy, cozy and well cared for home. We were so happy with all the small touches from two coffee pots, seasonings, to a totally unexpected Christmas tree! Communications from the hosts were spot on and extremely helpful. The location was perfect as it felt secluded but was just minutes away from shopping and restaurants. We all agreed that we would be happy to make this location our agreed upon meeting spot in the future.

Two Durham NC nextdoor waterfront rentals for large family gathering

The 2 nextdoor waterfront rentals in Durham NC were perfect for our large family gathering. JT and Susan were excellent hosts. The properties in beautiful water front woods exceeded our expectations in every way. They had all the little things you need and everything was easy to find with labeled cabinets and drawers. Furnishings and appliances were beautiful, like new, & in great taste. We enjoyed relaxing in the back yard, porches, grilling, playing corn hole, games, kids caught their first fish in the pond using many provided fishing poles. They sent me a suit that I forgot at the property. It was a great value and was everything you could hope for. Thank you very much.

A week with the parents

I accompanied my elderly parents to the Raleigh-Durham area as they visited lifelong friends. The house was the ideal solution for us by providing everything we could need on one level. There were only a few stairs required to get into the house. The house was nicely appointed, very comfortable and felt like home away from home. We played games, provided by the host, and spent many evenings around the dining room table. The peaceful setting among mature trees, flowering bushes and a pond made it easy to forget we were just a couple of minutes from shopping, grocery stores and the highway. It is truly a perfect location. The hosts were very attentive if we had questions and accommodating regarding concerns I had for my 89-year old father.
