  • Quiet neighborhood close to hospitals. This inviting property is close to amenities such as public golf course, Downtown Durham, public parks, the mall, and I-85. Enjoy walking trails down the block or grabbing a round of golf at the public course around the corner or visiting unique shops, museums and restaurants nearby.

    Perfect for 2-4 adults or a small family, not suitable for large gatherings.

My daughter, dog, and I had a great stay while she was in a program at the nearby NCSSM. The property was clean and had everything we needed.

The neighborhood provided many opportunities for birding, garden strollingbicycling, sharing meals with son and daughter in law and their dog. Many fine restaurants in the area and cooking, grilling and fenced in yard at the cozy home.

The host was easily accessible, friendly and very helpful. We stayed a month while my husband went through treatments at Duke. It was the perfect cottage! Lovely home and highly recommended!

The comfortable, clean house was perfect for our family of three adults and a dog. It was nicely decorated and had a modern appeal. Laundry room was a plus. Carport served as needed shade on hot days in the 80s. A large fenced-in yard provided good space for the dog. The neighborhood was quiet and centrally-located near Duke University. Overall, this house if recommended for stays in the Durham area.

Great spot for the long holiday weekend

We had a great stay at this home over the long weekend. The neighborhood was quiet and peaceful, and the house itself was cozy, comfortable, and had everything we needed. It was a perfect home base—well-stocked and conveniently located near all the places we wanted to visit. We really enjoyed our time here and would gladly stay again!

We stayed here while we were supporting my mother during a hospital stay. The home was exactly what we needed - close to Duke hospital and to downtown Durham, great outdoor space, quiet neighborhood. Very much enjoyed the space.

Good Proximity to our Destination

Our stay was all good at this property, as it was close to the expressway for us to drive to our destination in Creedmoor each day. It was also near to good restaurants, golfing and parks. The house was well equipped and clean.

Great, cozy home with a fenced-in backyard, which our dogs loved. The house is well kept and clean. Kitchen is well stocked. We will keep this house on our favorites and come back again.

Great place to stay for a Duke visit

My college roommate and I stayed here for our reunion weekend. It was a quick drive to campus and was a cozy and quiet retreat after days filled with reunion events! The house was perfect for the two of us and was stocked with everything we needed! It was clean and nicely decorated and perfect for our trip! We would stay here again!

Lovely place for a little weekend!

Me, my dad, and my dog drove down to the Triangle area to visit family for the weekend. Truly no complaints about this place; it was clean, cozy, quiet, accessible, comfortable. Very easy logistically and a nice place to relax. Super glad we picked it!

Considering we were traveling to Duke Hospital for a week with our furry family member, the location could not be beat. Less than 10 minutes to the hospital, but also allowed me to give our dog plenty of exercise in-between visits. The house was well laid out and nicely decorated, but the fenced backyard made it!! The whole neighborhood had Huge mature trees with plenty of shade and parks to walk to, all of it important to us. Owners answered any correspondence within minutes before and during our stay. Thankfully my husband's surgery went well and I believe this house helped with the good vibes given.

Convenient, quiet neighborhood!

What a great spot to land while helping our daughter move home after grad school! Super convenient location, and an amazingly quiet neighborhood made for a restful, peaceful place to reset each evening, and jump off in the morning. We would stay here again!

Great location

This is a terrific location - close to major routes and all parts of the Raleigh-Durham area, yet a walkable, quiet neighborhood. Michelle was accommodating and the house was clean and perfect for our needs. Would stay again!

Father's Day

Great location for us to visit my father and other family. Very nice layout with large back yard ... we didn't actually use the yard for this visit but we will definitely book again the next time we drive with our dogs. They will love it!

Perfect stay for a short trip to the area

This listing checked all the boxes for us — a safe, clean, no-hassle stay for us during our sons baseball tournament in the area. It was really comfortable and a great alternative to a local hotel. It allowed for the extra space for me to be able to take work calls, and for all of us to relax. I really am grateful to have stayed here, and would do so again in a heartbeat.
