Longterm Stay

My husband and I stayed at this house for five weeks. House was spacious and kitchen was sufficient enough for our needs. Master bedroom and bath were spacious. Wasn’t as clean as expected and we paid for one extra house cleaning. Some broken things got fixed and some didn’t. Dishwasher detergent dispenser wasn’t operating well and didn’t get fixed while we were there. We were surprised that the house is located next to a train track exchange station so we had to endure thundering explosive loud noises at random times of day and night including AM hours and the bed and house shook like earth quakes. There’s also an unsightly abandoned house right next door so we kept the shade down the entire time. We would not return to this house. Host was tried to be accommodating but it seemed that some things were outside of his control.

Okay rental

This wasn’t our best VRBO stay. Positives - near downtown, the donut shop at the end of the street is the cutest and nice to have nearby, the house is spacious and nice for a larger group, and the communication was okay. Negatives - The house just wasn’t the cleanest - hair on the barstools and in the bathrooms when we arrived, floors weren’t the cleanest, the beds in the two non-primary bedrooms were very uncomfortable, and there are not a ton of supplies given that it’s a house (no dishwasher tablets). We stayed here for a wedding, so it wasn’t like we were in the house all that much, but though the neighborhood seems good, I’d try to find another place nearby. Not worth the money in our opinion.

Raleigh Retreat

This home and location is absolutely beautiful! It was more than we expected! Perfect space for a bigger crowd and the location is in such a beautiful neighborhood! Property manager is very quick to response and helpful! Definitely can’t wait to come back again!

Great location

The home is in a convenient location to five points and downtown/village district. Walkable neighborhood with a cute donut shop 2 min walk. The home overall is ok but could be better. The kitchen had good cookware but no baking/serving dishes. Given that it was Thanksgiving, we had to go buy aluminum dishes for serving. A friend brought over a mixer for us to use for baking. The beds - sofa bed was pure springs and no cushion, the upstairs guest wasn't great mattress either and the master bed didn't have a mattress pad and the pillows were flat. The home only had 1 1/2 roll of paper towels, 4 garbage bags and a few pods for laundry and dishes. Nothing for washing dishes (we had to go buy a sponge, paper towels, napkins and had to use grocery bags for trash). No hair conditioner (so bring your own) For this price point - owner should provide some cleaning supplies. We were asked for the home to be left clean (which we always do) so as to not incur an extra cleaning charge but no cleaning supplies were available (no windex, spray solutions, sponges, etc). During our stay, the can lights in the family room didn't function and the beverage fridge wasn't cold, even though it was on. We could use other lights and we used the refrigerator for the Thanksgiving wine. The home could be perfect if the owner can fix these few items overall.

Comfortable

Comfortable, clean and super quiet on the weekend (construction across road picked up Monday morning). Lovely neighborhood with the best donut shop next door. Host was easy to communicate with and quick to respond.

Raleigh Getaway

Came to Raleigh to golf with friends and their wives. The house was new with high end appliances. Great neighborhood. Very convenient to anything you want or need. This is our 3rd time doing this but the first time at this house. Will definitely come to this house again next year. Dealing with the owner was extremely easy. As stated, we will want to come back to this house again. Why try something different you have found a great place.

Raleigh Gem

This property is located conveniently to all things in the downtown Raleigh area. You may not be able to walk to everything but a drive has you there in less than 10-minutes. The location was the biggest attribute for our family. The house was clean. It is located in close proximity to railroad tracks. Expect the noise associated with trains but it was not overly disruptive to our stay. The property manager did an excellent job communicating. We offer this a 5-star review.

Lovely Home Away From Home Stay

I attended Raleigh with friends. We truly enjoyed our trip. The home was close to everything we attendrd. A home away from home experience, for sure. I would definitely choose this property again!

Amazing place and Amazing Owners

First let me say the owners were in contact with us the who time and were simply amazing! They even had more towels delivered to the house to make sure there was enough for everyone! The house was clean as could be, and the neighborhood was very cute and we felt safe. 110% recommend to anyone looking for a safe, clean and great stay!

Quiet Oasis In The Middle Of Everything!

We booked this property for 5 nights just off looks and reviews alone. We are so grateful and overjoyed that the reviews and pictures did this property no justice! This place is amazing! The location, neighborhood, and amenities far surpass any expectations you may have. The house was clean, everything was where it needs to be inside the home. The neighborhood was quiet and felt very safe! This was important to my wife and me because we have 2 children who enjoyed the place as well. Even better than the house and all it has to offer, are the owners. They were prompt, courteous, professional and so accommodating! Book your stay today and you will not be disappointed. Whenever we are back in the Raleigh area, I hope this home is available for our stay. We would stay here again. 10/10 would recommend it.

Convenient and clean

Comfortable and spacious property. Host was very responsive and helpful with any questions or concerns we had. Would definitely recommend. Only caveat would be if noise bothers you - it is very close to the railroad tracks, and took a couple of nights getting used to it. Would definitely stay here again.

Very good quality furnishings/appliances

Really felt homey and comfortable with the high quality furniture & appliances. Could use some dish towels in the kitchen & an add'l hand towels in bathrooms. Good overall location, but not quite as nice in the other direction. Brad was great with communication. Would (and have) recommended to others and would stay again
