Weekend in Raleigh

We came into Raleigh for a weekend event at NC State. This was close to the University and convenient. The space is clean. I thought the couch was comfy for our kids. There was coffee via K cups provided in abundance. The communication with our host was easy and hassle free. We would stay there again, if the opportunity arises.

Great location with access to everything

This space was great for our little group passing through town. The property was clean and well appointed. It does sit on a busy road that lent itself to some road noise later into the evening on a Saturday night. But otherwise was easy to get to and from everything we needed in town. Would recommend staying here.

Convenient Location, Helpful Host

My teenaged daughters and I stayed in the house for five days. Its location on Wade Road makes it perfect for vacationers––easy access to downtown while also part of a nice, walkable neighborhood with parks and trails a short distance from the front steps. The house itself is old but comfortable, with all the necessities for relaxing inside. We enjoyed making meals in the kitchen (which has all the basics for cooking), eating in the dining room, and relaxing in front of the tv after our daily adventures in Raleigh. Midge is a good communicator and everything was easy to find and use.

Clean and Adequate

The house was very clean and adequate for our needs. As noted by prior guests, the layout is very odd. The larger bathroom is far away from either bedroom. Road traffic is very loud; bring a sound machine. Interior is clean and as pictured. Exterior shows the age of property.

Nice condo in Raleigh

I rented this condo to visit NC state with a few of my friends. Very close to campus and a very nice condo to stay at with friends. I had a great nights sleep and check-in and out was very smooth. Midge is a great communicator.

Good for a quick stay

Easy in and out, great to have laundry on site. Small issue with there not being a welcome letter with the internet password left, but Midge responded within a few hours via text (on a holiday). We stayed for a night and all was comfortable. It would be great to have more screens on the windows to air out the property though.

Quick getaway with flexible space

Great little spot to escape. Great host. Plan to return. Just be aware that there is a busy road that may be too noisy at times for those that want peace and quiet.

Beautiful place in a beautiful neighborhood

Fabulous location less than 5 minutes to NC State! Property was clean and well maintained! Midge Hunt was a fantastic host and easy to communicate at! We will be back!

Nice place, well located.

Very nice stay. We were able to fix a couple of meals in the unit in addition to going out twice. Easy access to Raleigh offerings and a nice quiet neighborhood. Would rent this property again.

Great stay!

The apartment was clean with plenty of towels and sheets and also had extra bonus amenities - coffee pods, salt, pepper, cooking oil, laundry soap. The location was in a safe area. There is a playground down the street. Midge was great at communication before and during our stay! I would recommend!

Super happy

It was great! The apartment was perfect for a few days in Raleigh and had everything we needed (except a hot water kettle for me, the tea drinker). But other than that, it was great. Communication was good, the place was clean and it felt very much like home while we stayed there. Would book there again!
