Beach House perfection

More beautiful than the listing

The photos don't do justice to how beautiful the property is, it's breathtaking. I think the gazebo room is also larger than shown. There is plenty of space to stretch out. The snorkeling behind the house is great, go down to the large rocks towards the North, bring your gear! We saw sea turtles daily. Rainbow bay beach is nearby and sandy with easier access than behind the house with the ladder. Get your groceries near the Eleuthera airport, it's 40 minutes away but well worth the drive as the local places are poorly stocked and very pricey. We had no trouble with water or power since the home has a generator. The home is generally well outfitted, but it's time for an inventory as there were very few glasses and almost none that were plastic for by the pool. A regular cookie sheet and some plastic cups would have made life slightly easier but we weren't complaining with that view. There were infinite plates, coffee cups, and towels. We found even plenty of the basics and did not have to buy toilet paper, paper towels, or even shampoo as it seems they helpfully leave large bottles prior guests bought. If you're picky about perfectly clean, it was clean, but not to a hotel or US VRBO standard I would say. We loved it and would definitely stay again if we made it back to Eleuthera!

Paradise Found

Perfectly appointed for a weeklong vacation with family. Enough room for privacy, yet wonderful space to be together. Relaxing by the pool, swimming in the ocean, spending a day at the beach- this house has it all.

Perfect

Perfect for our needs. 3 families with 6 adults 4 18-25 year olds and 2 children 2 & 4. Everyone had plenty of space and plenty of beds. Kitchen had everything we needed. Owner was quick to address any issues. Would definitely stay here again.

Exceptional Home!

I can't say enough about how wonderful of a time my family had staying at this property. It really has it all. It's beautiful, spacious, everyone had their own space. We loved the pool and swimming in the Caribbean. We snorkeled and caught fish right off the patio by the fire pit, which we enjoyed at night. We can't wait to return!

Great location, had all the amenities

The house was great and it lacked nothing. Well stocked kitchen and bathrooms made for an easy stay. Waking up to the spectacular views along with having dinner watching an amazing sunset made for a very memorable vacation. The caretakers were extremely helpful along with the booking agents. Smooth transaction. The only complaint would be that the gazebo bedroom needs to be revamped. There was a fairly strong smell of mold which should be remedied. If you don’t plan on using the gazebo bedroom then you have nothing to worry about.

Neptune Cove

Beautiful property with incredible view. The bedroom under the gazebo had a very bad odor and we were not able to use this room for our family of 12. The property has some maintenance issues. There was always a perfect breeze and we enjoyed seeing the sea turtles daily.

Perfect vacation home

Couldn’t ask for a better property for our family vacation to Eleuthera. Snorkel and swim right off the back landing. Everyday ended with an adult beverage on the veranda overlooking the ocean. Close to Governor’s Harbour for shops and restaurants but don’t sleep on Delish just south of house. Some of the best food on the island. For beaches, we went to Ten Bay, Twin Cove, Cocodimama, French Leave and Rainbow beach. They are all great but the best beach is Rainbow and that happens to be the closest. Rainbow is about a mile away and you can see the beach from the house. When you think of a Caribbean beach, this is it. Crystal clear blue water with perfect sand. Snorkeling is best along the rocks on the north side going toward home. We will be back!!

Beautiful and spacious

Neptune Cove offered so much room for 2 families to spread out and be comfortable both inside and outside. The house was clean, neat, and tasteful. The kitchen was stocked with plenty of dishes, silverware, pots, pans, and spices. The property, especially the cove in the cliffs with access to the ocean, is stunning. We enjoyed walking around the property every morning, as well as fishing and swimming from the cove. The kids also really enjoyed the pool. The house is very close to Rainbow Bay Beach, the Rainbow Room Restaurant, and Big Rock Grocery Store. Sarah checked in with me a few days before coming to ensure we had all of the information we needed to check in. She also communicated with us via text when we arrived. The caretakers, Brenda and Billy, met us there and were very friendly and helpful. I highly recommend for big families and I wouldn’t hesitate to book again!

Laid back get-a-way

Our first time to the Bahamas at all and Eleuthera was more of what we were looking for. Quiet relaxation. The beaches are great and the locals are very friendly. Our stay in this beautiful home was very relaxing. We felt this was the perfect spot for out group of 9. Plenty of space and all the features you could ask for. Pool was great. The cliff side "patio" area was great to enjoy a fire and at night watch the shrimp as they glowed in the water. Turtles just off shore in the water were common. Cliff diving was fun. The house had plenty of room for us all to hang out together at night. All in all a great experience. The one thing about Eleuthera is it is rural. No big hotels, restaurants or Walmart. Small grocery stores and gift shops. The island is 110 miles long so a trip nort or south takes time. There are many good local restaurants up and down the island. Rainbow beach was great. French leap was great as was the pink sand beach up on harbor island. The atlantic side is typically rougher than the "Caribean" side. We would definitely go back!!!

Great location and plenty of space

Our group of 10 had a great week at Neptune Cove. The location was great and the layout allowed everyone they own space. It was windy our week so we didn’t get to do any snorkeling by the house. The owner was very responsive to our needs. The beds are the best …. I slept great every night. About the only downside was the internet reliability. It was hit or miss. I would recommend this house.

Had an amazing time. We come from farm/ranch stock so the quiet was "what the doctor ordered". We left refreshed but eaten alive by no serums. Please strongly urge bug spray to others

Amazing

What an experience! Magnificent estate setting with an infinity pool overlooking the Caribbean and a grotto that is set back into the rock face. Below the grotto may be some of the best snorkeling on the island. Kitchen is gourmet equipped, lacking nothing when preparing meals. Bedrooms are first class and offer a scenic view from each one. The caretakers are extraordinary. Brenda and Lisa met us upon arrival and gave us the grand tour of the estate. They along with Capt. Jay, Jeremy and Ivan take care of any little issue immediately, and I mean little issue, like a burned out light bulb or a door lock that was stuck. Suggestions for restaurants, groceries, snorkeling spots, and not to be missed views were shared with all of us. I can’t thank them or the owner enough for our amazing trip. Hope to return soon.
