  • This spacious 4 bdrm home has everything you need for the ultimate beach getaway. Tastefully decorated, an expansive floor plan & stunning views of the harbour & surrounding rural landscape. Parents will love the large, fully insulated garage - the ultimate space for kids to hang while you enjoy some peace & tranquility. Wraparound elevated decks & essential Spa complete this beautiful holiday home.

    This modern, two-storey home has 4 bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms. The house can comfortably sleep 10 making it a perfect choice for large families or groups holidaying together. On request guest numbers can be extended to 13 with the use of an additional bunk bed with trundler pull out in the fully insulated garage area.

    Upstairs is the super-king master bedroom with a luxurious ensuite, double wardrobe and built-in study nook.

    Upstairs has a separate WC plus the expansive combined living, dining and kitchen area. With a relaxed beach vibe, the living areas are stylishly furnished and offer maximum comfort. The large floor to ceiling slider doors deliver a seamless indoor-outdoor flow while maximising the stunning vistas.

    Cook up a storm in the well-equipped, state-of-the-art kitchen. The splash-back feature window means you can still enjoy the fabulous outlook along with a glimpse of the Te Uku windmills. Dine inside or outside, this home has flexible options for all seasons and weather.

    Downstairs has two queen-size bedrooms plus a bunk room with 2x bunk beds that easily sleeps four. You’ll find another two bunk beds with pull out trundler (sleeping three) in the large, insulated garage. This space also offers as an entertainment room, including a dart board, pool table, bean bags and a smart TV. A spacious, contemporary bathroom completes the downstairs indoor set-up.

    For those that want to keep on top of their holiday laundry, this house comes equipped with a family-sized washing machine and dryer.

    And to keep those little ones (or adult ones) entertained outdoors, they can get involved in some Jumpflex trampoline action on the front lawn. In addition, there are two toddler swings for the little ones. There is also a heated outdoor shower to wash away sandy toes and for those that enjoy a spot of fishing, the outdoor space is complete with a purpose built filleting station.

    All Groundswell Properties include: Linen, towels, toiletries (shampoo, body wash, soap), tea, coffee, milk, dishwashing liquid, dishwasher powder, laundry powder and gas for BBQ.

    Guests will have access to the entire main house and associated outdoor areas.

    Location matters when you`re on holiday, and this home is close to all local amenities. Raglan township is just a 5-minute drive away for your supermarket shopping, pick-me-up barista coffee or an ice-cream treat. Known for its arts and crafts, Raglan has plenty of boutique shops perfect for browsing, plus an excellent choice of eateries and cafes.

    Lorenzen Bay is just a short stroll away and offers safe swimming, kayaking, sunbathing and family fun.

    Raglan has something for everyone. And this home is ideally located to explore the local area.

    Surfers will love the big waves at world-famous Manu Bay. Nearby Cox Bay and Lorenzen Bay are great spots for swimming, kayaking and body boarding or just relaxing in the sunshine. You may even get lucky and spot one of the orcas that regularly come to visit the bays.

    Also on offer in Raglan is fantastic bushwalking, golf, mini putt and, of course, plenty of fishing.

    The vibrant café and arts scene in Raglan township is just a short drive away. There’s a wealth of delicious dining options to choose from, along with specialist arts and crafts shops to explore. Also within easy reach are the supermarket and shopping facilities.

    Do as much or as little as you want – the choice is yours. Raglan is a fantastic holiday destination any time of year.

    There is an independent permanent residence unit attached to the back of the main house that shares the same driveway and parking area. The house has been designed to accommodate this arrangement without noise or visual/physical disruption to one another, but we do ask that you are mindful and respectful of the tenants that live on site, just as they will be of you and your stay.

    Please note there is no bathtub for little ones, but with two large, level entry showers, there is plenty of space for a toddler bath.

    A baby gate is in place at the top of the stairs connecting to the lounge.

    Access to the house is via a very steep driveway. This is concrete sealed and no problem for cars/Utes/SUV’s to use, but please be mindful of children if they have skateboards, bikes or scooters available.

    There is off street parking for 3 vehicles. If you are bringing more than 3, please let us know and we will advise the best place to park the additional vehicles.

    Sporting equipment can be stored in the lockable garage area.

    Rubbish - an allowance has been made for 1x full blue rubbish bag. Additional rubbish must be taken with you or dropped at a local refuse disposal station (details in house info folder) or an additional charge of $25 per bag will be applied for disposal.

    Recycling - an allowance for 1x full recycling bin has been made per stay. Additional recycling must be taken with you or an additional charge of $25 per box will be applied for disposal.

    Electric Vehicle Charging- We are unable to accommodate electrical vehicle charging at the property, there is a fast charging station location around the town hall on Bow Street.

    All linen and towels are included in the nightly rate.

    Guest stays longer than 5 nights will be provided with additional bathroom linen for use during your stay.

    For reservations longer than 10 days, on request, additional bed linen can be provided for you to change at your convenience. Our team will collect any dirty linen at a mutually agreed time.

    All reservations include an end of stay cleaning fee. Sufficient cleaning products and equipment will be available at the property for use during your stay should you need it. We do not offer mid-stay cleaning services unless this has been pre-arranged at the time of booking and we have capacity in our cleaning schedule to book this in. All additional cleaning services including mid-stay bed making will incur additional costs.

    We have a zero tolerance for unauthorised parties or events and you will be asked to vacate the property if there is reason for us to suspect guest misconduct.

    Any personal belongings left behind have a minimum $20 return fee + courier bag/packaging cost (regardless of size). This is to cover travel and time to the post office + administration for the return payment.
    Sorry but we are unable to host pets.

    Strictly no smoking indoors. If you smoke outdoors, please do so responsibly and remove butts from the property on departure.

    No more than the number of guests booked, to a maximum of 13. Additional charges will apply if you exceed the number booked.

    Residential area - Noise curfew from 10pm to 9am.

    Events are not allowed without prior arrangement. This includes birthday parties, hens/stag doos and wedding celebrations.

    A BBQ is available for use during your stay. Please clean with the appropriate supplied cleaner after use. We reserve the right to charge for additional cleaning if the BBQ is found dirty.
