Great cottage for rent in beautiful Nordhordland. Close to sea, with terrace and whirlpool.

  • Family-friendly cottage on Radøy, a half-mile drive north of Bergen. The cabin is well located, with great views of the sea and nature.

    Three bedrooms with a total of 6 beds. There is also 1 folding cot and 1 folding extra bed in the cabin.
    The cabin is from 1960, but is completely renovated 2015-2017.

    New modern kitchen with stove, microwave, dishwasher, fridge / freezer and coffee maker. New modern furniture and cable TV and wifi / wireless network. Modern bathroom with toilet and shower, washing machine. Large terrace with great views, outdoor furniture, barbecue and whirlpool / Jacuzzi.

    Short distance to drive to Bergen, Voss, Sogn and Hardanger, with all the attractions available. But also in Nordhordland you will find many beautiful places where you can find peace and have a rich or relaxing holiday, as you wish. Good bathing and fishing opportunities, both in freshwater and sea.

Great cabin in a convenient location to explore Bergen and the surrounding area. We had everything we needed in the cabin and the hot tub was a real bonus.

Perfect

Lovely cottage in a beautiful location, we couldn’t have asked for anything better. Spent our week hiking and found the location to be ideal for our explorations. Nothing beat enjoying our meals with the view. Our host was attentive and kind. Thank you, we would most definitely recommend!

Amazing Place

A beautiful house with a great location. The furnishings are very good and the rooms are well laid out. The highlight is certainly the view of the fjord from the large window. The landlord was very helpful and gave us tips for our stay. For guests who like nature, the area is definitely recommended.

A perfect house

We had the most serene, wonderful stay at this house. The view of the fjord is breathtaking and the unit is very clean and updated. If you’re lucky, the sheep might say hello from across the yard! If we’re ever in Norway again, we wouldn’t hesitate staying here again

Ein wunderschönes Haus

Ein sehr sauberes, stilvoll eingerichtetes Haus. Es ist wirklich alles vorhanden, sogar Waschmittel, Spülmaschinentabs, Duschgel, Klopapier, Kaffee, Zucker, Öl, Badmintonschläger, Order mit Ausflug Tipps etc... Es wurde alles mit Liebe eingerichtet. Das Whirlpool ist natürlich auch der Hit, was auch bei Regen die Zeit gut vertreiben ließ.

Our stay in the Fjords

The cottage was great. Well equipped and clean. The host was very responsive and responded immediately when we had a minor issue. We used the hot tub and it was in excellent condition. The view from the deck was picture perfect. Sheep grazing nearby. The only issue was a steep incline to get from parking to the cottage which would be hard for some to navigate. It got quite slippery with some rain. I would stay again and recommend to those without mobility issues.

Schönes Haus in der Nähe von Bergen

Das Haus war sehr sauber und der Garten mit Terasse wunderschön. Die Einrichtung etwas alt, aber gut gepflegt und gemütlich.Der Weg zum Haus über die Wiese führt einen Abhang hinunter, der bei Regenwetter sehr matschig und rutschig wird, was es etwas beschwerlich macht, zum Haus zu kommen. Für Personen mit Mobilitätseinschränkung und Kleinkinder nur schwer geeignet.Jostein war sehr freundlich und das Haus hat von der Ausstattung alles, was man braucht. Die Aussicht ist unglaublich schön!

Amazing Stay on the Fjord

This cottage north of Bergen is so beautiful and comfortable. It offers a beautiful view of the fjord, a nice deck and hot tub, comfortable beds, and a well-equipped kitchen. There are 6 single beds with 2 in each bedroom. We had an incredible stay! Note that there is a short walk down a steep hill required to access the cottage. It won’t be a problem for most people but this is not a good option for anyone with limited mobility.

Hervorragend!

Wir wurden sehr freundlich von Jostein empfangen und in die Gegebenheiten des Hauses eingeführt. Es war sehr sauber, ordentlich, gut ausgestattet und gemütlich eingerichtet. Der Weg zum Haus geht über eine Wiese und kann schon mal anstrengend sein. Ansonsten waren wir rundum zufrieden. Die Aussicht war sehr schön und man konnte im Whirlpool entspannen. An dem Angelplatz in der Nähe vom Haus lässt es sich schön Zeit verbringen und morgens wurden wir von den wolligen Nachbarn begrüßt. Alles in allem war es hervorragend und wir kommen bestimmt nochmal wieder.

Beautiful clean cottage with a wonderful view.

Everything was beautiful. We were there for six nights. We are particular, especially when it comes to cleanliness. As former owners of several vacation rentals ourselves, we understand the need to maintain the property. Jostein succeeded in meeting our high standards. My only concern for us was the access to the house from where we parked. It’s a steep grassy path down to the house which when wet (which it was) can be slippery. In all fairness, we are seniors and it may not be a problem for younger ones. But steps to the house would have helped us a lot. Overall, excellent property.

Schöne Unterkunft mit tollen Ausblick

Leider hatten wir bei unserem Aufenthalt nur regnerisches Wetter. Trotzdem konnten wir schöne Tage in der Unterkunft verbringen. Es ist sauber und ordentlich und die Ausstattung lässt keine Wünsche offen. Wir waren sehr zufrieden! Nur der Weg zur Unterkunft ist etwas kniffelig, da man einen relativ steilen Weg über Wiese und kleinen Weg bis zur Unterkunft hat. Gerade bei Regen war dieser total aufgeweicht und war schon dreckig wenn man oben ankam. Ein befestiger Weg oder eine Treppe wären hier wünschenswert. Das ist aber auch das einzige was man bemängeln kann. Sonst tolle Unterkunft und super Gastgebern.

La casa es muy acogedora, muy limpia y bien situada, desde el salón y la cocina hay perspectiva de todo el fiordo. La zona es tranquila y muy bien comunicada con Bergen. Jostein y su esposa cuidan todos los detalles. La recomendaría para pasar unas vacaciones inolvidables
