Perfect place for an escape

My friends and I came up for my 21st birthday and made the best memories, thanks to Jill and her family for their accommodation. The property and the beautiful animals made the occasion so much special and we cannot wait to return sometime in the future!

Edenview was perfectly suited to our needs. A beautiful home for a weekend away. We had a wonderful relaxing long weekend celebrating my husbands 50th birthday with family & our fur baby absolutely loved running around in the fully enclosed yard. Highly recommend! Jill is very accommodating & always quick to respond to questions. Having owned a cockatoo ourselves, it was lovely to be greeted by the very friendly Maxi anytime we went near his cage. For anyone looking for a pet friendly getaway....this does not disappoint.

Edenview 10/10

Amazing property with friendly animals (the horses walk up to you for a pat). My 3 year old had the best time and is still talking about it. Everything was as advertised the facilities were well thought out with general living spaces for 14 people. Jill was a awesome host and we cant wait to visit again.

Great place with a beautiful view

Jill’s place was lovely and absolutely perfect for a girls weekend away. We had a picnic outside on the grass and we’re lucky enough to witness beautiful sunsets both nights we were there. Jill helped us out when planning our trip and gave some good suggestions for places to eat in town. Would definitely recommend this place to people looking for a relaxing weekend away :)

Amazing experience

Edenview is such a beautiful property! I celebrated my 40th birthday there with my family and everyone onr had such a great time at this outstanding property. View was amazing and animals were so friendly. Property has everything you need to have a good relaxing time. Fresh eggs for breakfast was so tasty. Jill you been great from start to end of our stay....thanks alot. We will definitely book this property again.

Owner is invasive

The house was as described, clean and lovely. The owner resides in this home when guests aren't staying. Much of the fridge/bins were already full on arrival. The owner was terrible to deal with. From the initial booking i was bombarded with questions about the nature of my stay, the people attended and what we plan to do. I had booked my trip months in advance. 4 days prior to my stay i was sent 'terms and conditions' from the owner herself. Nothing to do with my booking with Stayz (some of the conditions even contradict those that are on the stays website). The owner watches her cameras and even makes excuses as to why she needs to come and visit the farm. With those same terms and conditions i received, i was told that she would have to come by daily to feed the animals. This was never told to me when i initially booked. You will get no privacy if you stay here.

Long weekend getaway

I stayed here with a group of 14 girls for a weekend away over the long weekend. The house was perfect for our group size and everyone felt extremely comfortable during the stay. It was easy to find, extremely clean and the additional touches from the host including fresh eggs from the chickens, wine and chocolate exceeded our expectations. Overall we had a fantastic stay and I would highly recommend this property to anyone travelling to the Hunter region with a large group!

Amazing holiday

We had an amazing holiday at Jill’s farm. Great location with gorgeous views from every room. The animals are friendly. Maxi (a Kookaburra) welcomed us warmly when we entered into the farm. We even had fresh eggs picked from the farm. The house has everything you need. If you do need to buy things, all the big supermarkets are only 15 Mina’s away. Jill was so friendly and helpful and attended to our questions promptly. We enjoyed very much the stay and the kids just loved it. Will definitely come back and recommend to others.

Spectacular Getaway

We had an incredible stay for a hens weekend away. The property was immaculate, stunning and well sized. View was to die for and the animals were gorgeous. Great for large groups

The location was great for some peace and quiet and fantastic for large groups. We had 4 families stay together and had plenty of indoor and outdoor space to relax and enjoy meals.

Weekend getaway was great

Perfect holiday!

This is the perfect location and the most amazing property! It fit our group of 12 perfectly with so much room to stare. Our highlights were definitely the incredible view especially the sunset. Would recommend this place to anyone. Jill the owner was extremely accommodating and helpful. Thanks again for letting us stay!

Awesome family getaway (with dogs)! You won't be disappointed.

We stayed at Edenview for a relaxing weekend away with the extended family, 10 people in total. We chose Edenview over others because they were one of the few properties that welcomed our two french bulldogs with open arms. When we first arrived at Edenview we immediately felt relaxed and at home... especially as we were greeted with a 'Hello my darling' from the resident cockatoo. The calmness and rolling views also hit you right away. The lovely welcome gifts and detailed compendium were much appreciated and Jill was very fast to respond to any queries we had over text message. But most appreciated was being able to open the gate and let our two dogs run wild in the fenced off 1/2 acre grassed area. The property is nicely setup and well maintained. The bedrooms and bathrooms were clean and the kitchen was well equipped and bigger than expected. With 10 people and 2 dogs none of us ever felt like we were living on top of each other. There are so many different rooms and areas on the property for people to get away if they ever feel the need. The first evening was spent having a big family BBQ in the outside covered area. It was good knowing that if the weather did turn (we were blessed with two perfect days) we could still use the outside BBQ and outside seated area. The extra outdoor drinks fridge also came in very handy ;-) After our BBQ we all walked down to the corner of the property and sat under the stars around the fire pit for a few hours. Jill was able to organise a hug ute load of firewood so we were able to sit and enjoy the fire with very little effort. The following day we went to explore a few wineries but because the wind had picked up and many wineries were not overly dog friendly, we decided to head back to Edenview and enjoy the property some more. And we were so glad we did. That afternoon was spent lazing around in the sun on the huge lawn and just enjoying the views, some drinks and some music on the outdoor speakers. And the dogs were able to run wild around us. We finished off the evening by getting a maxi taxi from Cessnock radio cabs to the Royal Oak hotel in Cessnock for a casual dinner and drinks. I highly recommend the maxi taxi if you have 11 people or less and want to be able to enjoy a few drinks without the worry of driving. All in all, we had an awesome time at Edenview. I highly recommend it (especially to those with dogs) and we will definitely be back again. Thank you!

Christmas in Juky

our 3 families had a wonderful weekend of good food, good company and an amazing house to spend our Christmas in July. The beds were comfy, the views were stunning and we sat around the fire pit chatting and laughing. The kids loved the animals and collected fresh eggs for breakfast. We had everything we needed to relax and have a wonderful time in the Hunter Valley. Edenview is highly recommend and Jill was a wonderful host.

Amazing property with spectacular views!

We stayed as a group of 9 people & we were very surprised at how roomy this house is! Not once were any of us feeling crowded. The views are absolutely stunning from every angle out the back of the house & we have all taken home some beautiful photos of the sunrise & sunsets. Thank you Jill & Craig for your generosity in sharing your home! Everyone is still talking about how great the weekend was.
