This house had everything needed for the 10 month old all the way up to the 85 year old and the two generations in between! The 85 year old said her bed was so comfortable she didn't wanted to leave it!Well stocked kitchens, beautiful lake view with morning sunrise, plenty of room inside for rainy days and young children. We WILL be back!

We thoroughly enjoyed our three night stay. A cold front came through and the weather was perfect for hanging out in the deck. The house was spotless. The pantry was stocked with things you’ll need to cook and store. (Not ever had that before anywhere). The owners answered so many of my questions and were totally available. They even left a large snack basket and a docile note for the group. Would recommend 100%.

Our nonprofit has a teen program that tours FAMU annually. This year, we stayed at this home, and it surpassed our expectations. The rooms were comfortable, and the layout was spacious. The first floor provided a separate apartment (bedroom, bathroom and living room), which allowed for easy separation of genders. The game room was a hit and used more than we anticipated! The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed, and the sunrise view was breathtaking. We’ll definitely be back!

Great relaxing place on the lake. Lots of room for 8 men to gather over the weekend for a corporate retreat. Only thing that could have been better is the fish could have been biting.

My wife and I stayed for a few days to catch some FSU sporting events. 34 min from FSU is just far enough, but not too far. Very clean and will stay again.

Our family stayed at this home to celebrate our daughter’s spring graduation from FSU. It is a well equipped lake home with lovely lake views and plenty of space to hang out as a large family. Great dock if you want to bring a boat or jet skis!

Grew up in Tallahassee and had no idea that Talquin is a combination of Tallahassee and Quincy. This house was perfect for our group, enjoyed the dock and beautiful setting. Owners checked in to see how we were doing. Pool table was great and a nice gas grill, the kitchen was also nice and we made some great meals. Look forward to next year!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property. The house is beautiful, the decks and pier/dock are perfect for viewing beautiful sunrises, hanging out with family and teaching our grandson to fish. Perfect stay.

The premises were perfect for our friend's 70's birthday. The rooms were comfortable and everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves. I had to reach out to the host and they were responsive and accommodating. We would definitely recommend the property.

There were nine of us and we had the time of our lives from start to finish. We were there to join our wider family in Quincy for Thanksgiving. The hosts could not have been better at communication and welcoming us, The facilities were all they were advertised to be. This experience has made me a VRBO fan. Thank you, David and Amanda!

Wonderful home with great views. Homeowners were exceptional at communicating and very responsive. Great amenities throughout the home and a wonderful surprise gift basket of snacks and treats. Thank you Amanda and David for a great weekend celebrating our graduate!! Go Noles!!

There were only 2 of us, but the home could easily and comfortably house many more. Most everything you need is there. Wifi was great. I worked and conducted zoom meetings with no issue. The bed was comfortable. Hosts were responsive to concerns and questions. The marina is about 5 minutes away for bait. BRING GROCERIES! There really isn't much close by. Quincy for Winn Dixie or Tallahassee for Publix. Both are a bit of a drive. Fishing was awesome at sunset. Specs, stripers, bass, catfish- whatever you want.

Our extended family spent Thanksgiving at the lake house and had an great time. The house was well-stocked with everything we needed. We loved having the pool table for family tournaments, and the games and puzzles kept everyone busy! The back deck is beautiful and the perfect place to relax. The hosts were quick to respond to any questions and made us feel welcome. The house is about a 35-40 minute drive from Tallahassee/FSU.

30-40 minutes from Tallahassee, it was a nice oasis from the busyness of the city. The view from the dock is gorgeous. Great kitchen. Nice and clean.

From the first notification the process was seamless. Great communication! Easy check in and amazing views. The home was well equipped and nicely furnished. Beds were comfortable, pool table was a nice touch and the view was awesome ( did I mention that).

This house was perfect for our family, The dock is great and our grandkids loved jumping in and swimming and fishing! The house was immaculate and fully stocked with anything you would need. Just bring your food! Great hosts … checked with us by message to see if we needed anything. Highly recommend this vacation home.

The lake house was perfect for my husband and me and another couple. It’s easy to find, nice inside and out with a gorgeous view of Lake Talquin. Hope to stay there again in the fall.
