Stunning views and great home for a group.

We stayed here with friends and family. The house has the most amazing views and is very comfortable. Whilst aspects of the home may be a little tired the location and amenities far outweigh this.

un très beau séjour en famille ,la villa est très agréable et très bien aménagé,.petit bémol il faut s organiser pour prendre des douches car petit cumulus . l extérieur est parfait avec la piscine et la vue est magnifique

Great for a large family

Amazing views and close to town with a good local shop and chip shop at the end of the road. Older property internally but clean and looked after.

This home is absolutely stunning!! The views cannot be beat. The size of the home was ideal for our group of 8. Everyone had ample space to spread out and relax. The hosts were very responsive to any messages and helpful. I highly recommend this property.

Better than it even looks

Pictures actually don’t do this place justice, I expected views and a comfortable place, but in reality views are spectacular. From the kitchen, the bedrooms and especially the outdoor spa. It’s such a great escape place for a bunch of friends or two families. Highly recommend!

Outstanding sanctuary so close to Queenstown!

Fantastic property in a brilliant location. Views were unobstructed and and absolutely incredible. Property is a little older, but photos are a true depiction of what to expect. We were two families staying for a week and we were very comfortable with plenty of space in the middle of winter. So quiet and easy to get around. Would highly recommend and would love to go back!

Family get together in a top spot.

Very nice spot . The view is unbeatable. Only coment would be the need for some maintenance.... toilet roll holders loose .... bathrooms are due for an update. Otherwise would be very happy to stay here again . Management was great and when we needed help Billy was our hero.

Phenomenal views

The property itself is older and needs some work. The heating could have been a little better, the fireplace unfortunately smoked the house out, but the views and location made up for it tenfold. Will definitely book again, its perfect for bigger groups.

Spectacular views

The pictures don’t do justice to the views from this property. We all just wanted to sit in the window all day! I took hundreds of pictures because I couldn’t get enough. The place was spacious and we really enjoyed our time as a family of nine here! Our stay here just added to the magic of our visit to Queenstown!

Happy Holiday

We had an amazing stay at this beautiful property, with stunning views over the lake. Our one small gripe was the way they handle rubbish during your stay. While the conditions of stay clearly outline how rubbish is handled, it is a hassle and this needs to made easier for the guest.

Great location for family group. Spacious, quiet location - on site parking.

Two downstairs bathrooms need modernising. Aircon throughout needs upgrading. Water leak outside during stay caused issues with water pressure.

Stay at Ibon House

Ibon house was a great spot for a group of 9 friends to stay for a few nights. Location was amazing and views were to die for. Everything you needed was available and there were tons of places to spread out. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would happily return if back in Queenstown. A little bit of TLC would up this from a 4.5 star rating to a 5.

Eight Amature golfers

We all were highly impressed with the space the property offered, we were 8 adults and could have accommodated an extra 2. Probably offered the best views in QT.

Remarkable view, comfortable house

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The view from every room of his house is gorgeous, and it changes all day as the light and clouds change. The house itself is nicely laid out and comfortable. Our family of 10 stayed a week and had a great time. We especially liked that the tables, both inside and outside, comfortably seat 10. Our weather wasn't great, but the outside patio is large and we would have used it a lot in warmer weather. The walk to town takes about 35 minutes and is pretty, but we were not game for walking back up the hill to get home. We had cars and there are taxis in town, and apparently a bus that gets close to the house. Being up the hill is the price you pay for the beautiful view, and it is totally worth it! Little maintenance things keep me from giving a fully fabulous review. Some lights weren't working, the dishwasher is temperamental, the Internet was annoyingly slow, and there were other things, all of which would have been easily fixed with an hour or two of a handyman's time. (I wrote to Goodstays about this, and hopefully they'll fix things before the next guests arrive.)

Convenient to town though not via foot. Slightly disappointing that the spa had to be hired on top of the Bach, but the hire was easy and recommended.

Great House with Magnificent Views

View is spectacular at anytime of the day or night. Only negatives, Lack of decent utensils eg. frypans etc, fridge too small for 10 people. No recycling bins for plastic/glass etc. Overall though we enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend Ibon House.

Queenstown delight

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This property has the most astounding views. Perched high on a mountain side, it presented us with 180 degree views over the lake and Queenstown. The windows have been positioned to maximise the scenery from every room upstairs and downstairs. The house was generally clean and well presented however there were some aspects worth mentioning: 1. The toilet paper holders in all the toilets were coming off the wall and there was insufficient toilet paper provided for 9 guests 2. There were no dishwashing tablets which should have been provided 3. The sinkerator did not work 4. Some power outlets did not work 5. The fridge size was too small to hold food and drink for 9 people and a small bar fridge would have been useful 6. Oven door does not close properly and food took twice as long to cook 6. Shorter stem wine glasses would have fitted in the dishwasher 7. Several doors have squeaking hinges 8. We needed to top up the "S" bend in the upstairs hot water cylinder overflow which then stopped the sewer smells in the upper bedroom. 9. Hopefully you regularly change the code for the 'key safe' otherwise the system is only as secure as the honesty of the previous renters. 10. The utensil hanging block over the mobile food prep bench was a hazard for taller people and served no real purpose. Could be removed and stored in garage. 11. Understand the trend is now to make up beds with bottom and top sheet, doona without doona cover and another sheet on top. This looks like an untidy short cut and an effort to avoid having to do laundry. It does not give the renters the impression of a neat and tidy, well thought out bedroom.
