Our group of 22 (5 families) had an amazing stay at 7Manata. The combination of different room sizes worked perfectly for us. It was so nice to allBe together in the same house. The location was perfect. Outside of the busy-ness of town but close enough to be convenient. The 4WD’s are a great addition as it made it so easy getting around town. Guy was super helpful and easy to communicate with. We will definitely be returning.

Amazing host - incredibly responsive and happy to assist with anything we needed both in the lead up to and during our stay. Location is amazing, 3 minute drive from the centre of town and with uninterrupted views directly towards the Remarkables.We had 16 people in our party (10 adults - 4 couples and 2 grandparents plus 6 kids) and all adults had their own space and rooms with views. Drying room was excellent for all 16 peoples ski gear and the 4 Prados were perfect for getting up Coro Peak and the Remarks - all having chains available. The house is older but well maintained and the photos are accurate. We would definitely stay again - true value for money

Fantastic holiday home

We had a great stay at 7Manata. The two houses were fantastic for our large group. Great location, spectacular views and well-appointed. Use of the cars was a great addition. We loved our time in Queenstown.

Family get together

Took my children and grandchildren to Queenstown for our annual get together. This house has everything we wanted. Most spectacular is the outlook over the lake with the snow capped Remarkables behind it. Just stunning. The house had a spa and plenty of room for large dinners. Expresso machine was good and everything we needed in the kitchen was there. Guy was our contact and helped promptly with all our enquiries. Nothing was a problem and hope to return again same time next year.

Beautiful Views

Plenty of space for our large family, and the view couldn’t be beat anywhere in Queenstown. Having access to three vehicles all week long was the clincher for us when picking a place to stay—such a fantastic extra benefit!

Best imaginable views of surrounding area.Property spacious and comfortable.Location handy to all ammenities.Would very much recommend to friends.Maybe just a small thing would be to have a 'starter pack' for new guests eg. coffee and tea bags.Guy was fantastic to deal with from the outset and very obliging and helpful which made our stay a treat.

Holiday with friends

From the beginning communication with Guy (the host) was fantastic. Response time was almost immediate and instructions about our stay very thorough and clear. Guy went above and beyond helping me with any enquiries about activities, locations etc and also gave recommendations about restaurants, stores and much more . Being in a large group of 16 and away with 2 other families the sleeping options and configurations were endless and everyone was very comfortable as there was so much space in the houses. Accomodation was very clean and tidy on arrival with plenty of heating throughout the house on the very cold days / nights. The vehicles were an added bonus and were used on a daily basis and very much appreciated too. Only a short 5 minute drive to town the location was perfect and the views were incredible. It felt like a home away from home and we are definitely looking at making this a yearly holiday, we can’t thank you enough .

What a View

Best views of the lake. All the amenities you could ask for even 3 vehicles to use which came in very handy. We had 15 of us and there was more then enough space. close to town by car. Excellent place to stay for a large group, definitely would book and stay again.

Spectacular Views

Fantastic home that provided ample room and privacy for an extended family of 22. Incredible views and amenities in this double house that made us feel immediately at home. Guy was an excellent host and couldn’t be more helpful with all aspects of our stay. A wonderful week was enjoyed by all. The 3 Toyota Prados were icing on the cake to make this holiday thoroughly memorable.

Had much of my family gather for my 60 birthday. Guy’s home gave all of us the space and the privacy at the same time. Views were spectacular. Location to all Queenstown had to offer was great. Highly recommend this beautiful home.

Spectacular Location for Destination Celebration

After searching throughout New Zealand, 7 Manata was the best venue for our celebration. All 22 of us were able to stay at one property and have a dinner party on site with a fabulous view. Photos don't do it justice, you have to see the ever-changing light on Lake Wakatipu and the mountains. 7UP has a spacious kitchen and living room where we could all gather comfortably. The kitchen was well equiped with everything you need. The 3 Utes (4x4 Prados) were a huge bonus, making airport logistics and trip into town easy. We slept 22 but check with host, as the floorplan and bed configuration we had from the web was not up to date. 7LY, next door to 7UP, is more of a basic space. It does not have a living room space and the kitchen is not as well appointed. Three bedrooms share one bathroom. However, there was plenty of room for all guest in the common spaces in 7UP; Plan to hang out together there. Guy was incredibly gracious and helpful in our planning. He was extremely responsive and flexible. He accommodated our caterer and all of our requests. We would not hesitate to book again.

Hit the spot

Houses are beautiful. Guy was really easy to communicate with. A few issues that he was more than happy to assess moving forward. Related to the limited down time the property has and lack of honest responses i think. 7LY is not as nice as 7UP but with a couple of basic fixes and updates I think it'll be close and a nice hide away from the main house. Views are fantastic and entertaining areas are good too. Would stay again.

Amazing Stay

Amazing stay with an amazing host, location definitely boasts a stunning view. There are so many positives about this holiday house. One of the best features is the ability to house a large number, we had a total of 16 during our stay and still had spare rooms/beds. Well kept and clean location. The fact that 3 Toyota Prados were provided is actually amazeballs, really helped so much on our trip especially for our winter stay, we used them to head to the snowy mountains and into town. I would not under state the toiletries, all bathrooms came with the standards shampoo,conditioner,body wash. I believe everyone would have gotten 2 sets of towels (bath/hand/floor/etc), small things like this make the stay that much better because really you are on a holiday and unless you're getting hotel services, extra clean towels really make the experience that much better, mega appreciated, particularly for uses like the two spas available. Really large living space definitely suitable for large group.

Very Special

7 Manata really works for big groups with common and private areas. We were 3 families and 4 grandparents and 2 adults. The access to the vehicles together with the accommodation, and views, and location make this a very special package. We spent 2 weeks. Although it is a lot of money it actually works out to be excellent value for money and quite reasonable per person. Guy is a good host and 7 Manata lived up to expectation. We had a very memorable time.

We had the pleasure of staying at 7M for the past week for a family holiday in Queenstown. There was 22 of us ranging from grandparents to babies and the property was perfect for our group. The inclusion of the cars is amazing and takes the stress off relying on public transport. Check in and out process was very seamless and picking up and dropping the cars off was very easy. Guy is a wonderful host, very accomodating and replies quickly with any questions we had. 10/10 stay and will definitely book again if we come back to Queenstown.

We stayed as a family group of 20 people. The beds can be made up according to your needs which is great! Beautiful views! Excellent communication from the host. : )

Amazing location!

Amazing location. Views spectacular. Everything we needed. Whole family stay for a wedding. Warm, Perfect for big family dinners and hang outs! Spas magnificent to warm the bones!

Perfect place for us

What a fantastic holiday! Amazing views, super spacious and so comfy. And the icing on the cake, the 3 seven seater cars. This house perfect for our three families. Guy was a fantastic host. We can’t wait to go back.
