Great location -close to Old Quebec and the Ppains of Abraham. Condo is on true third floor so be prepared for stairs. Host was responsive with questions and we loved Quebec at Christmas time.

The location is perfect- close enough to the action to walk easily everywhere but tranquil park setting was so peaceful. Super comfy beds. The "coffee/reading" nook to look down on main drag was a lovely surprise. Otherwise, everything was as pictured/described.

The location is very good. It was great to have available parking. We were then able to walk to great restaurants nearby. Our only concern was that the space was very tight. The bathrooms we very small.

Lovely old heritage house, well maintained and conveniently located just a few steps away from the Plains of Abraham and the Grand Allée with a multitude of restaurants. Also a short walk to the Citadel and historic old city.Would definitely recommend this property to anyone who can manage stairs as there is no elevator. Also to note are restrictive head heights in the bathrooms in case this should cause anyone any problems. This is due to it being the loft/attic suite and did not cause us any major issues.Would definitely stay here again

Me block from Joan of Arc and Plains de Abraham a plus. VERY loud partying outside facility. Host seemed surprised. Told us tonotify police. Same problemThe next night. We absolutely could not sleep for two nights. Asked for bedding for foldOut couch to see if it helped. Never received. Requested a fan to try to blockNoise. Received the fan. We’re told there was a washer dryer with condo. We were asked to use the washer dryer in basement after 5 pm because the people who cleaned and washed linen etc were busy using them during our stay. The sheets were too small for theBed, couldNot even tuck in. Very disappointing experience.

Perfect location to see the best of Quebec City. Our family loved the easy access to Plains of Abraham park. The rental has lots of charm and character and the hosts were responsive and very helpful. The suite has some angled ceilings that made standing in the washrooms (toilet/shower) difficult for me at 5’9” but overall it was very comfortable and peaceful.

This apartment is ideally located to walk to Old Quebec City. It’s close to many restaurants, green spaces and museums. While the description of the apartment is accurate it doesn’t really tell you how small it is. The bathrooms are very tiny and if you are tall it will be a challenge. It actually has two galley kitchen areas which together are well appointed. The AC only blows air in the hall area which moves to the other rooms. So the bedrooms were somewhat warm but you can open windows. That being said we had a lovely time in this apartment. The living area is comfortable as were the beds. It really is as quaint as the pictures show. Check in and out as well as communication with the host was easy and quick. If you don’t mind 3 flights of stairs and tiny bathrooms and want a great located house this is an awesome choice

We met a couple of dear friends in Quebec City and shared this apartment with them. It worked out quite well - we loved the location (near beautiful gardens on the Plain of Abraham) - the apartment was clean and pretty well equipped – the layout worked quite well – comfortable living and dining area, and nice bedrooms and baths (a bit snug, with a sloping ceiling that presents some challenges if you’re tall) for each of us. It was nice to have A/C in the public parts of the apartment – but we did miss it in the bedrooms. The washers/dryers in the basement that are available after 5 pm were useful for us, too, but I guess they don’t get used too often, since they were full of the property’s linens when we went to use them. The host, Nina, helped solve that problem and overall was quite excellent – very responsive and informative.

Nous avions déjà loué à cette adresse précédemment, en sept/oct., ce fut agréable et mémorable. Notre deuxième visite fut plus... décevante. 1/ le prix en pleine saison ($600+ pour 4 adultes et 2 ados), 2/ un appartement plus exigu (3eme étage) et moins confortable (par exemple les salles de bains très étroite pour de grands gabaris), 3/ Des serviettes de toilettes manquantes (pour les 2 ados) et facturées en plus (+$35), 4/ Une télévision qui ne fonctionne pas malgré nos multiples tentatives .. En conclusion, un lieu toujours agréable mais attention à la qualité et au prix demande…

Beautiful House in Beautiful Quebec City

There is no city in North America like Quebec City. And staying at Les Maisons Montcalm with its history and charm was great. We had 5 of us, my wife and I, my 85-year-old mother, and 2 teens, and it was a very comfortable stay. The location is so GREAT! You are literally half a block from an entire block with over a dozen restaurants. We walked down the hill to the main part of Old Quebec and the Citadel, it was really nice. The apartment is very well furnished and clean. It had everything we needed. Entry was really easy with the digital entry, so no need for keys. Communication was as near immediate as it could have been. We were really happy there. One note is that the ceilings in the bathroom are low, so if you're over 6 feet tall, you might want to ask for one of the other apartments in the building. It wasn't a problem for us. We would definitely come back and stay again!

This is a review for the third floor unit.The good: The property is well situated near the old Quebec City, 5 mins walk. The unit is well maintained and clean. Host was also friendly. The bad: the amenities are showing they age, and we found stains on bedsheets and towels. It was late at night when we arrived so we didn't bother to contact the host but thought that's an area to improve on. Being in the city, lights (and noise) come through the window blinds / doors so please note if you are a light sleeper.Overall: 8/10
