Great Rural Stay, a 1/2 Hour From Quebec City

We were two recently retired couples vacationing together. They had never been to Quebec and it was 18 years since we were there. The lodging was great: 2 full baths, 3 bedrooms and an extra bed in a corner if needed. We did well with the 2 Queen bedrooms. The kitchen was full, having a full fridge, oven, stove, microwave. toaster and coffee maker, as well as a gas grill on the deck. There was plenty of comfortable room, whether it was sitting around the dining area table or watching the game on the TV from the comfortable couches, or simply relaxing on the deck. We were in the shoulder season, so we didn't use the pool, nor go skiing at St. Anne's or elsewhere. We noted there was additional space for skis and such accessible from the parking area. I thought we would spend all of our time in Quebec City, but I was wrong. We were pleasantly surprised by the beautiful Island of Ile d'Orléans, with its incredible restaurants and views, not to mention farm fruit stands and an amazing chocolatier. The stay in Beaupre made for easy access to the incredible series of waterfalls and chutes on St. Anne. The location of the rental in Beaupre gave us easy access to supermarkets, pharmacies, wine stores and churches, as well as easy access to Quebec City and Chute-Montmorency, the highest waterfall in North America, & St. Annes. The owner touched base with us to make sure all was in order. That was a nice touch. All was good. The owner cares that his rentees are pleased. We'll return.

Lovely stay in beaupre

Overall a great stay at this lovely home. Very clean, pool was fun, nice kitchen with all the required pots, pans. Etc. Would recommend a blender for smoothies, milkshakes, etc... Our biggest suggestion would be to get more storage space for clothes in the bedrooms. There was only one drawer in the master and we had to live out of suitcases for the most part. Overall we loved this place and would definitely go back.

Fantastic Chalet

We stayed at this property with our family of 5. It was clean, full of useful amenities and super close to the ski hill!! We loved coming home from Mt St Anne for lunch and after skiing, playing some games by the warmth of the fire! This chalet is totally perfect for a family who is looking for a comfortable, cozy and clean place to stay. It’s 2 min to Mt St Anne and 30 minutes from Le Massif. We absolutely loved our stay here and are already planning our visit next March! Thanks to the owners for great communication before and during our stay. It wonderful experience :)

Chalet dans les arbres

Nous avons passé un agréable séjour estival à Beaupré dans ce magnifique chalet. L'endroit est fantastique, le chalet sur pilotis à flanc de la montagne avec d'un côté vue sur le mont Ste-Anne et de l'autre on peut y apercevoir le fleuve. Le chalet est d'une propreté immaculée et équipée de tout ce qu'on pourrait avoir besoin. La piscine extérieure est aussi fantastique et pas trop achalandée, c'est donc très agréable de pouvoir s'y rafraichir. On a déjà hâte d'y retourner!!!

Beau chalet, très bien situé entre Baie St Paul et Québec. La piscine commune (peu fréquenté) a fait le bonheur des enfants et la communication avec Nicole et Richard s'est très bien passée. À recommander!

Gorgeous property

This property was gorgeous, cozy, spacious and extremely clean. There was zero issue with check in, there was a book at the property that explained where and how to access everything in the condo. The hosts were great, quick to respond with any questions regarding the accommodations prior to and after our stay. We will definitely be returning next ski season!

The Perfect Chalet for a Ski Vacation

This is a charming chalet with all the comforts you will need for a ski vacation. It was perfect for our family of five. Recently renovated, it looks like it could be in a magazine. It was very clean and tastefully decorated. Two full bathrooms made it easy for our family. The owners have provided the best-equipped kitchen we have experienced at a VRBO - all the appliances, dishes, glassware, cookware, knives, etc. that you will need. And the fireplace made for some very cozy evenings. We would definitely stay here again.

best place we have stayed at Mt. Ste anne

We have been here many times in many places. There are 6 of us (4 adults, 2 kids), and this home was far and away our favorite. Location is excellent. The living area is ideal for family, and the view over the river is lovely. The kitchen, from a equipment point of view, is absolutely complete(note- no condiments other than salt and pepper). We stay in winter and the multizone thermostats including those by the boots, were great. Mattress were nice and firm. We didn't use the fireplace as we would have had to buy artificial logs. We all bvoted we would want to stay here next time we come.

Nice home, well equipped, close to Mont Ste Anne

We enjoyed our stay very much. The home is nicely furnished with plenty of seating and comfortable beds for our family group of 5 adults. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook breakfast and a couple of family dinners. The shower pressure was great and we also enjoyed the jetted tub. We skied at Mont Ste Anne two days, which is very close by. Another day we went to Le Massif, which is about a half hour away and worth the trip for the "upside down" setup and views of the St Lawrence from every run. We also made a couple of trips to Quebec City to see the Museum of Civilization and have a special birthday dinner at L'Initiale. The owner, Richard, was very attentive to make sure we had all the information we needed and that we were satisfied on arrival. We would definitely visit again.
