Oak Alley - the name says it all. The old Creole plantation houses are not as fancy as I had imagined, but they are an authentic step back in time. Many of them were only three rooms across and one deep, with wide verandas of course. It's the alleys of centuries old oaks with their Spanish moss that give them majesty.
