Lovely property, perfect for our stay in Puy L'Évêque. Large bedroom, bathroom, living area with well equipped kitchen, outside garden and good sized clean pool.Caroline and Mark were perfect hosts and gave loads of useful advice on the locality but we're never intrusive. The property is located above the most gorgeous village (bastide) and is a shortish walk down but a steep walk back.There are plenty of places to visit close to and further afield. We loved exploring places like Monpazier, Cahors and a myriad of other small towns/bastides. Puy L'Évêque has a good number of restaurants nearby so you won't have far to travel for food. Fishing on the Lot was good for my other half who caught one pretty barbel then waited patiently for the rest of the day without success, quelle dommage. The small restaurant Chez Jenie provided the perfect antidote afterwards!Soirées in Puy L'Évêque (Wednesdays) and other local villages are a wonderful way to spend an evening. I would highly recommend this lovely gîte, we would return in a heartbeat.

Séjour très agréable

Une location conforme au descriptif, bien équipé et propre. Les aménagements extérieurs, jardin et piscine sont très bien entretenu. Notre séjour de 15 jours a été très agréable dans une belle région avec des hôtes charmants. A recommander

un endroit idéal

15 jours dans ce gite accueilli adorablement par Caroline et Mark Tout est parfait la gentillesse, la disponibilité des hôtes La localisation avec une superbe vue sur la vallée du lot Le calme autour d'une très belle piscine le jardin fleuri et entretenu par Mark Le sourire de Caroline on a pas vu le temps passé à découvrir de cette belle région et profiter du gite

Lovely rural village gîte

We had a lovely relaxing week in this lovely gîte with very welcoming hosts. The swimming pool is wonderful to cool down and with the setting moon in the evening an unforgettable experience. The only comment is that as we are six score years and ten (plus)…... we found the walk back from the village , which is uphill all the way, very hard and we found took at least 25 minutes, going down is only about 15 minutes it’s true…. To be fair it was very very hot . When using the car to go to the village we had no problems parking.

good accommodation, brilliant pool, excellent advice by owner

A very well presented Gite, clean, comfortable. Large enough for the 2 of us with lovely outdoor space for breakfast and a drink last thing. Altogether, good value for the money paid.

Superbe séjour

Merci à Mark et Caroline pour cette belle semaine. Le gîte et la piscine correspondent à la description, sont très propres et très bien entretenues et très bien équipés (draps, serviettes, barbecue gaz, ventilateur) La localisation est parfaite, l'endroit est très calme. Mark et Caroline sont très accueillants et très chaleureux. Merci pour cette belle rencontre. Nous reviendrons avec plaisir. Sandra Frédéric et Maël

Merveilleux séjour

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour. Maison située au calme. Bien équipée. Mark nous a très bien accueilli (sympathique panier d'accueil) et est resté très discret tout le séjour. Charmante maison et piscine merveilleuse et super temps qui nous a permis d'en profiter. Seule chose à revoir, nous n'avions accès à aucunes chaînes de télé françaises mais ce problème doit être réglé d'ici 2 à 3 semaines. Merci Mark pour ce séjour et cette belle région.

Séjour très agréable

Charmante maisonette très bien équipée avec un jardin privé ombragé. La piscine est très agréable également. La région est à visiter ! Caroline et Mark sont de charmants hôtes, accueillants, discrets et disponibles.

Lovely property and great hosts!

This is a beautiful property on the edge of a lovely little village. The pool is great and is really well maintained and cleaned. The accommodation itself was pretty. It's very clean with a good size bedroom and living space. We particularly enjoyed having the use of the gas BBQ in the private outdoor dining area. Mark and Caroline were fantastic hosts. They were lovely and friendly and always respectful of our privacy. Thanks both for a fantastic stay - we'll be back! Dan and Sophie

Klein maar fijn

Het betreft een groot landhuis boven Puy l'Eveque, waarin naast het hoofdverblijf van de eigenaar twee appartementen zijn gebouwd, elk met een eigen ingang en eigen buitenruimte. Wij verbleven in het kleinste, met een kleine woonkamer/keuken en een wat ruimere slaapkamer. De inrichting is bijna compleet: wasmachine, afwasmachine, oven, magnetron, nespresso. Heerlijke douche. Wat we misten was een airco, de aanwezige fan maakt teveel lawaai voor de nacht. Het appartement was brandschoon, maar aan een mier hier en daar ontkom je natuurlijk niet. Bedden waren prima. Buitenruimte bij het appartement was OK. Het zwembad ligt mooi en is groot, je kan er echt baantjes in zwemmen. Heerlijke ligbedden eromheen. In corona tijd was de ene kant van het zwembad voor de bewoners van de ene gite, de andere kant voor de bewoners van de andere, Mark is een goede gastheer en zorgt voor een uitgebreid welkomstpakket, incl. brood, melk, boter, wijn en olie. Het mooie dorp aan de Lot ligt op 15 minuten lopen (bergaf). Er is een grote supermarkt, veel winkels en een paar restaurants.

Excellent sejour !

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour, le gîte est très agréable et décoré avec goût. La piscine est merveilleuse 😀. Nous sommes ravis d'avoir fait la connaissance de Caroline & Mark, ils sont extrêmement gentils , très accueillants et nous avons passé de bons moments avec ensemble. Nous y retournerons.
