"We had a lovely weekend stay for a quick family get-away. The main kitchen and living area has spectacular views onto the lake as does the deck where we spent most of our time. The lake is just across the very quiet street. The kitchen is incredibly well stocked, the host super responsive and the rooms very comfortable. "This house has an ideal location to see lots of local sites of interest in the Hyde Park and Poughkeepsie area. Easy trip from there to West Point, Hyde Park and the Culinary Institute from the location, and great restaurant, Tiramasu, is very close. The house is immaculate! The beds were very comfortable, linens were provided, the bathrooms were spacious and the five of us had plenty of room for our toiletries. "Quiet, secluded - a roomy house with massive yard, good deck and excellent dining table. We found almost every thing we needed and everything else at the grocery store such as plastic storage containers and Kleenex. A few touches would add to this comfort such as chairs in the bedrooms and suit hangers. The owners were terrifically responsive and went out of their way to make it easy and safe for our toddler.
