Right next door, the harbor of Lauterbach, with its maritime charm, invites you to take a stroll—here you can enjoy fresh fish, rent boats, or simply watch the passing ships.
A special highlight is the island of Vilm, located across from Neuendorf. Only 30 visitors per day are allowed to enter this strictly protected natural paradise—a unique experience for nature lovers, featuring over 500 rare plant species.
Those seeking cultural variety will find it in nearby Putbus: The historic theater offers a diverse program year-round, and in the castle park you can spot fallow deer and red deer.
