    Escape to The Sun Lodge, a private three-story mountain retreat in a gated 3,000-acre Blue Ridge community. Surrounded by hiking trails, wildlife, and sweeping mountain views, this is the perfect place for couples or families to relax, reconnect, and unwind.

The cabin is beautifully decorated and Mountain Views from the porch are stunning.There is a wonderful waterfall to enjoy nearby you can drive up to. There are atv trails and walking trails to explore. We really enjoyed our weekend.

This place is by far my favorite. The view from the back desk was captivating and we spent a good amount of our time just swinging and enjoying the quiet air. Linda and Greg were great and communication was on point through the whole process. The cabin was clean and just so cozy. It was the perfect weekend getaway!

Outstanding views, plan on being chair planted out on the Mountain View deck, panoramic , multiple range views. Inside is Fully equipped and decorated with detailed taste. I would give it 5 stars though lower walk out patio from master bedroom needed attention to cleanliness. Best of the 3 places we have stayed at Buck mountain, highly recommend

The Sun Lodge was everything we wanted for a mountain vacation. The house felt like home thanks to Linda and Greg. We couldn't get enough of the view! Can't wait to visit again!

The good: Beautiful views and cabin. Comfortable beds, good location to Boone and Wilkesboro The bad: only one TV downstairs in the main bedroom, spiral stairs upstairs and downstairs.

Peace and Beauty

This is perhaps the most peaceful place in the world. The location is incredible. Watching the sunrise over the mountains feels like living inside of a painting. This has quickly become my family's favorite place to visit -- and if you book a trip here, it likely will be yours too.

Amazing property!

Absolutely gorgeous cabin both Internally and externally. Linda and Greg are great communicators. Would recommend for anyone looking for a relaxing getaway. I will definitely be retuning with the family.

Wonderful house in the mountain

Beautiful Stay In The Mountains

Wonderful cabin with a view to die for. We could have spent the whole weekend sitting on the deck but we would have missed the beautiful interior with any amenity you could ask for, comfortable bed and fully stocked kitchen. Thank you to the owners for making their home available for others to enjoy. Hopefully, we can visit again.

Fabulous Serene setting

We had a fabulous, quiet stay at this beautiful cabin. We enjoyed most of our days and evenings on the deck under the retractable sun awning and fire pit. We enjoyed the deer, squirrels, birds and hummingbirds. The cabin itself provided all the amenities needed including fast internet and an Alexa for music.

Pleasant stay

We really liked the property. It rained the whole time we were there. We had some good views despite the weather. Lodge was well supplied and very thoughtfully planned. Made it so easy to prepare meals in the kitchen.

Great Accommodations!!

We have stayed in numerous cabins over the years and this one was the most well stocked and one of the cleanest we have ever stayed in. We did have a problem with one of the toilets, but Greg was in it and took care of it for us. It was a great location between Wilkesboro and Boone. Beautiful deck overlooking the mountains. We would stay here again without question.

Terrific views and a beautiful mountain home.

If two sets of spiral stairs separating the living / sleeping areas would not bother you then this is the place for you.

Loved our stay!

We rented the property for a quiet weekend away. Everything was exactly as pictured and stated in the listing. The home is so cozy, well stocked and has incredible views. The hosts are very organized and great communicators. We will be back!

Amazing!

Cabin was wonderful. Views were amazing. Well stocked kitchen. We enjoyed the hiking trails around the pond and the neighborhood waterfall. No complaints at all! Would definitely go back! If I could give 10 stars I would!

Even better than expected

Wow, the cabin and view are AMAZING! Everything exceeded our expectations. Communication with the property manager was great. The cabin was clean and well-stocked! And the view from the deck was breathtaking. We spend all of our early mornings and evenings in the outside space.
