I stayed here with my husband and sister for several days after extending our vacation. We were lucky that it happened to be available last minute. Carol (the owner) promptly reached out as soon as we booked and provided us with the all necessary information to check in. We had to check out of our previous rental early and Carmen accommodated us as we needed to drop off our bags prior to check in. She was so kind and provided beach towels, an umbrella and cooler while we waited for the condo to be cleaned. She checked in with us throughout our stay and ensured we had everything we needed. The condo was clean, inviting and had everything you could possibly need to feel comfortable. Comfy beds, beach stuff, first aid kit, towels, etc. The beach was beautiful with a surf break directly in front of the condo. I highly recommend this place.

We had an amazing time here! The condo is stunning, and the location is perfect—just steps from the best part of the beach. We visit Punta de Mita every year, and this has been our favorite stay so far. While the property doesn’t allow kids under 12, meaning we’ll have to wait four years to return, it’s truly a slice of paradise—beautiful, safe, and right on the water.

Simply put, I have never had a better experience with a vrbo or other rental site. Every little thoughtful detail added up to an amazing experience, from the filtered water in the sink and water cooler, to the fresh flowers and home-made guac when we arrived, to the extra beach supplies, to the comfortable beds, and everything in between. Carol and Carmen were both lovely and kind. They made sure we had everything we need and more. The only negative thing I could say would be some sort of lie so that other people don't want to come here so this place is available whenever I want... muahahaha... but I won't do that to Carol :) It was just so great all around.

The condo was beautiful, looks exactly like images. We were here for a week with our 18 year old son. The beds were very comfortable, living room set up was wonderful. We spent many hours on the balcony, watching the surfers & whales. Carmen was great- loved the pico & gate- such a nice touch. The drinkable water given was so unexpected and we appreciated that. The condo is quiet but everyone was friendly. The town, many restaurants & grocery stores we walked to daily.

This is a clean, comfortable, spacious condo. The furniture and cabinetry are of superior quality. The beds are very comfortable. The condo generally, and kitchen particularly, are the best equipped of any vacation rental we have stayed at in Mexico. The pool is warmer than we expected. During our stay, the other guests and owners were quiet and respectful so it was peaceful. The owner was exceptionally responsive and the property manager was lovely and very helpful.

My fourth time in Punta Mita, so I knew the little town well. This apartment is in a great location, on the beach and close to the town's restaurants and shops. The apartment is well appointed with everything you need in the kitchen, plus laundry and chairs/towels for the beach. The apartment is very clean and check-in with Carmen was super easy, and she is pleasant and knowledgeable. The smallest issue with the apartment was the hot water to the master bathroom - poor water pressure and it took a very long time for the water to get hot. The other shower is great. You can literally spend hours on the balcony watching the waves and surfers. The pool is a perfect spot to relax or have a fresh water swim. We walked to dinner all four nights and had a great meal each night. You can also sit in any restaurant, with a great view, and just have a drink. As a side, we played golf at Higuera (Litibu) twice, and loved the course - although the price there has jumped considerably over the last year. Overall -- a 10 vacation

Great property and location right on the beach with pool and surfing/paddleboarding steps away in Corral del Rico. Very easy walk into small town with many very good restaurant options. Carmen is a great property manager. The property is very well equipped with everything you need for time at the beach and relaxing in the condo. Would highly recommend location and over Sayulita and other options in the area.

This condo is TOO NICE! The decor and furnishings are not your typical vacation rental. This place is nicer than most homes and has EVERYTHING you can think of or may need while you’re visiting. The location couldn’t be better. The town is lovely. The owner and host are great communicators and the check in was perfect. You won’t be disappointed!

Carol’s condo is clean, modern and has everything you can imagine needing. The kitchen has lots of gadgets and small appliances. The view is spectacular and can be seen as soon as you walk in the door. I love the second floor location because it was a short flight of stairs to the beach and the street and high enough to give us privacy and a great view. Carmen was there to greet us and show us around the condo. She also cleaned and was very helpful when we had questions. Carol was wonderful to communicate with and it was important to her that we enjoyed our stay and had everything we needed.

Seriously, all you need to bring to this amazing condo on the beach is yourself. (all water toys and essentials are supplied). We entered the condo to a sweet fragrance from a lily flower arrangement. While sitting on the full length patio, we enjoyed the excellent homemade guac and pico de gallo that our wonderful host made, and were afforded a great beach viewing of surfers, pelicans and boats. The master king bed is excellent which is always a must for us. There are lots of restaurants within a five minute walk. On our last day, we could see whales with the supplied binoculars. We liked our stay so much we secured reservations for next year.

We had a wonderful stay in Punta de Mita. Carol, the owner was very helpful and always available to answer any questions we had. The condo has an amazing view and has absolutely everything you need for the beach. The kitchen is stocked with everything you need as well. We loved how spacious the condo was. This is one of the best Vrbo rentals we have found! We will be back for sure!

Well appointed condo with EVERYTHING needed for a lovely beach vacation. Amazing view of the beach from the moment of arrival in the condo. Carol is a super host with excellent communication and thorough welcome letter. Carmen the property manager was an excellent local resource. And her pico, guacamole and tamales were fabulous! The patio overlooking the beach was our happy place from sunrise to sunset. Our 4 night stay was too short! The 45 minute drive from the Puerto Vallarta airport was well worth it to discover this tiny, peaceful beach town. Looking forward to returning during whale watching season.

This is a very well appointed condominium. Waking up to a beautiful view of the bay with pelicans diving into the water is a perfect way to to begin the day. The kitchen has everything needed for meal prep or just eating snacks. The condo is spacious and the floor plan is very functional. You are right on the beach and can hear the waves lapping at night. A vendor who rents everything from snorkeling gear to surf boards and surf lessons is within sight. It is walking distance to local fine dining restaurants and excellent taquerias attached to houses. One restaurant, Hector's Kitchen, I rave about and should be on everyone's must do list. The locals are friendly and accommodating. Also, it is near the towns of Sayulita and San Francisco are within a short drive and have many small boutiques and restaurants woth exploring. We also enjoyed touring the crocodile sanctuary on the way to Puerto Vallarta. In short; great condo, good price, well located for a vacation in Mexico on the beach.

Condo was perfect. Amazing view of the ocean with a pool, where you may leave the condo bare-footed to open the gate to a Sandy Beach. The condo was open and airy with lots of natural light. Condo was well supplied with everything you could possibly need and everything worked. Condo is decorated classy with great art; everything was high-end with a huge high-resolution Smart TV. Sheets were silky and towels were fluffy soft. Carol was an amazing host. She was super helpful and always responded within minutes. It was a great memorable vacation.

We had an AMAZING time at this location! So much that we want to come back for a month! Cayo Loco was the best Vacation Rental we have ever stayed in! Before arrival Carol made us feel welcome and helped with local information. Plus, she has thought of absolutely EVERYTHING! From the big things (like filtered water) to the tiniest detail (a yoga mat), it was all there. The kitchen was a dream for me. I told my husband that I want that kitchen when I “grow up”. It was perfect with everything you could possibly need or want to cook, bake, grill and entertain. The living space is as large and comfy although we did spend most of our time on the lovely relaxing deck. The towels are soft and fluffy, the mattress and pillows dreamy, and the location was spectacular. I could go on and on but truly this place is the best! Thanks again! This has been one of the best condo's we have ever stayed in. This was our fifth trip to Pinta de Mita. The owners reached out before our arrival to introduce themselves. The welcome letter was one of the best I had ever received. I used the transportation service they recommended and it was great. The property manager did a very thorough and detailed job of explaining how things worked in the condo and the common area. Carmen later in the week checked back in with us to make sure we were doing okay. The condo itself is well laid out and you will find anything you need in the large kitchen area. There is a large deck overlooking the pool, beach and ocean. We spent a lot of time with coffee in the morning and margaritas in the evening taking in the tremendous view from the deck. You can easily walk to many of the fine restaurants and shops. This has been one of the nicest condo's we have stayed in over the past 12 years. We will definitely book this property again, hopefully soon!

We loved our stay here. The view of the ocean was so great and the place is just steps to the beach. Carol (the owner) was very helpful with suggestions on transportation from the airport and where to eat. Carmen (the property manager) made fresh guacamole and pico de gallo for us. The beach is steps away. The driver Carol recommended was also great. Overall the place was clean and felt like home, the people were all so helpful and the beach was great. We would stay here again 100%.
