Liz was the best host. The property and accommodations were awesome. Close to the beach and easy walking distance to many restaurant options. I would highly recommend staying at her condo.

I had read one bad review but ignored it because all others were excellent. I'm glad I did so. It makes one wonder why some people can be so unfair. The condo is immaculate and decorated just right for a beach setting. Liz could not have been more welcoming and helpful. The beach club is great with friendly staff, tasty food options and good drinks. The local area is very safe and excellent restaurants are close by. Music is available every evening at one or other of the local bars. Overall, we were very impressed and will definitely return.

Across the street from several excellent restaurants and grocery store. The condo was immaculate with absolutely everything you would need in the kitchen. The beach and pools are great. Would highly recommend and look forward to returning.

Great Place

The place was great! Set up very nice and the host is awesome. She's on top of everything and makes sure to respond and be available. Being a host myself, I appreciated how well she manages her property. We enjoyed being right on the beach. It is exactly what we were looking for, to relax and do NOTHING! We had massages on the beach twice with Marta and enjoyed those very much. The restaurant right on location was good and the staff was great.

We love Playa Turquesa, again!

This was our second vacation, in the same property at Playa Turquesa and our experience again was excellent! Everything was exactly as pictured. Our property manager, Liz Borges, was so helpful- she was available from morning to night. The location is great- and we felt very comfortable going to the wonderful and reasonable restaurants almost every night. If there was one downside, the amount of seaweed on the beach - and in the water- was very annoying. But all in all we had a great vacation and we will definitely be back next year!

Beyond wonderful

Our stay exceeded our expectations. Liz greeted us with open arms to check us into our beautiful, newly renovated condo, stocked with all the gear you need to cook and relax. The large patio with the ocean breezes was ideal for coffee, meals & cocktail hour. Liz arranged our taxi both ways and he stopped so we could grab groceries and refreshments on our way. The sugar sand beaches were several mile walks with stops for souvenirs, lunches and cocktails and they tractor rake our beach so it is pristine. The staff was so attentive, happy and helpful. The beach bar had fresh squeezed juice cocktails and great food. We had the best 30 year anniversary vacation. Thank you!

Amazing Beach Vacation

What an amazing stay we had! The condo is clean, comfortable and very well equipped. The property is in a perfect location and is within walking distance to grocery stores, pharmacies, and several restaurants. We felt very safe walking around the neighborhood and the property itself is gated and has 24 hour security. Steps away from the condo, are two large swimming pools and a lovely beach with plenty of lounge chairs and Palapas for shade. There is also a restaurant and bar on the beach that serve excellent food and drinks. We cannot say enough about our host Liz ! She promtly answered all of our questions before and during our stay. Liz gave us an abundance of information and suggestions that made our stay even more relaxing and enjoyable! Everything about our vacation exceeded our expectations and we look forward to our next visit!

Amazing Vacation!

Absolutely loved the Playa Turquesa and this unit! My husband and I spent three amazing weeks. Beautiful view of the ocean and amazing breezes from the unit. Condo unit and complex is very well maintained and the people here are so friendly and helpful. This was our first condo experience and we truly enjoyed the experience. Everything you could need within walking distance- grocery store right across the street and a lot of great restaurants on or near the beach. Our host Liz was fantastic! Friendly and welcoming! Great guest book in the unit to help you navigate and she is just a quick WhatsApp away if you need anything! We look forward to returning for another great experience!

Unpleasant host. Bedroom smells like cigarettes. Dirty floor. Forgot to add a guest on the reservation (same price) and was not allowed to after check in. CHARGES FOR ELECTRICITY USE. Denies any wrongdoing. Will not stay again

Awesome condo

This condo has great views, well stocked, all redone, very clean and the manager, Liz is great. We highly recommend it. One negative thing about the condo was the late night music from somewhere on the street. We understand they are looking into it. We talked to guests at other condos who had the same complaint. Also we were not allowed to have our friends staying at other condos in for a BBQ or a visit.

The week spent here was possibly the most relaxing week of my life. The proximity to the private beach, the local shops, and fantastic restaurants made it so easy to just kick back and relax. Liz is a wonderful host and made us feel comfortable from the first minute we arrived. The security, which was not really of concern was outstanding. The gated main entrance and guard at the beach entrance made us feel super secure on the Playa Turquesa property and when we left to explore, shop, and eat we always felt safe in the town. I'm a walker so I made the two mile trip to the nearest "supermarket" with no issues and was able to buy some groceries for the few meals we wanted to prepare and enjoy in the well equipped condo. Seaweed has become a big issue for all Caribbean resorts but it has been managed well here. There are barriers in place that keep most of the seaweed off of the beach and a clean-up crew that clears the beaches of any overnight accumulations.

Noisy

I will say the unit is very clean and has everything you will need. The bed is comfortable. My major issues were 1: too much construction noise coming from the other units. The host of course has no control over this. Also buzzing of weed whackers for several days on end to cut the grass on the lawn (no lawnmower)! Then there is nightly fogging for mosquitos. Just a lot of noise. 2. The front desk staff is rude and has difficulty with communication. 3: the beach side restaurant bar is expensive and the wait staff unfriendly. Doesn't take much to say thank you, come again or how was everything. That was pretty much true in all of the restaurants. 4. The area across the street is a problem with hawkers- trying to sell tours, wares, and yes, even drugs. This is both annoying and scary. The small grocery store is very limited and expensive. 5. Liz is a lovely person. We had an unfortunate incident with her husband trying to get into the unit while we were there to show something to a tile worker. This was not communicated to us and when we didn't let him in he tried to push his way through the door. Very upsetting but we talked about it later and decided it was a problem with communication. I would say this is a great place for a short stay and if you don't plan on spending much time in the unit itself. Bring your earplugs.

The Perfect Place For A Vacation We Will Never Forget!!

My wife and I decided to come back to Punta Cana (5 years since last trip) but this time instead of the usual 5-7 days trip we decided since we work remotely, we would come out for 3 weeks. I searched literally hundreds of listings, but ultimately decided to go with this property because of the incredible response and communication received on day 1 from Liz. My wife and I have traveled many times and we have NEVER experienced the kind of hospitality that we did from Liz (and we have been to some amazing places). The condo itself was beautiful, spotless clean which is a must for us, had everything you could possibly need for a short- stay. The view from the balcony was also very nice, and the balcony itself was also very equipped and large. Plenty of patio furniture, a grill, water cooler etc.... The entire condo was perfe and I also need to throw in that the bed was super comfy as well. However, let me get back to "Liz" and her hospitality. Liz was the perfect person to rent from, she gave you your space, but was there if you needed ANYTHING!! It was like having your own personal butler at the snap of a finger. For example, we had two small hiccups while we were there. One of the AC units went out (electrician had just worked on it and forgot to reset it) I called Liz and within an hour it was taken care of, and even more amazing the coffee pot stopped working on day 4 and I notified Liz just to make sure she could have it fixed for the next renters, but to our pleasant surprise she personally hand delivered a new coffee pot less than 2 hours later. She also setup an airport ride for us on arrival and departure, she arranged for her driver to stop at the grocery store for us so we could buy groceries to have for our 3 week stay, and when I started to run low on cash (from excursion after excursion) Liz even allowed me to Paypal her money on a handful of occasions in which she delivered cash to me within hours so that I had some pocket money to walk around with which was amazing because the ATM and exchange rates were very high around here, so she saved a lot of fees by doing that for us. When our vacation ended Liz stopped by at 5am in the morning to say goodbye and send us off with a hug, the minute we got into the car to leave my wife was already in tears that it was over. THANK YOU, LIZ, for the most amazing hospitality, vacation, and memories we will have for the rest of our lives. We will be back again and again and again!!

Perfection!

My husband and I just returned from an 8-night stay at this gorgeous condo. First, it was exactly as advertised, even better actually, in reality. Exceptionally clean, very well-equipped, tastefully decorated andvery comfortable. It was clear the owners had really thought carefully about what is necessary to provide to have an enjoyable stay -- e.g. the suite even has Alexa and Netflix. The kitchen has everything you need to cook 3-course meals every night, not that you would want to because there is a fabulous choice of restaurants right outside Playa Turquesa's gates, and it even has its own restaurant right on the beach. The view from the over-sized balcony to the beach is delightful. We found the outdoor seating area a real joy and enjoyed sipping cocktails there in the breeze, every night. The beach is very nice with white sand and we had no trouble finding loungers and shade. We also spent time in the pool and again, had no difficulty finding a lounger and shade. We felt safe and secure during our stay and the other guests and owners that we met onsite seemed very nice and respectful of other people's experience e.g. no excessive noise or crazy parties, or barking dogs. Overall, this condo and resort is an absolute gem. Liz sincerely wants you to be happy. She has prepared an excellent binder full of tips about local eateries, culture, etc. so you don't waste time figuring it out yourself. She even had her husband drop off a hot/cold pack for my bad back. I'd give this 6 stars if I could. Thank you Liz. We hope to return!

Just Perfect!

This was our first trip to the Dominican Republic and our host, Liz added the special touch in being available ahead of arrival through departure. The condo’s location was perfect for beach strolls, restaurants & strolls. Enjoyed the balconies view and breeze. All needed in a home away from home was available. Condo and property is exceptionally cared for, you could not only see but feel the difference. Thank you Liz & look forward to coming back.

A wonderful place to experience some rest and relaxation!

There’s not much to say other than, what an amazing experience! A modern spacious condo…close to the beach, bars, restaurants and to top it off…a wonderful host! I really couldn’t ask for a better place to unwind after all day excursions; or to wake up to get the next adventure started! I will absolutely stay here again when visiting Punta Cana!
