Great family getaway

Our family had a very nice stay at Costa Atlantica. The condo is exactly what we were looking for a winter getaway. The view of the ocean and pool was spectacular.The only problem was that the fan in the living room didn’t work and one shower had a foul smell.

Fantastic Property and Location

We stayed here for two weeks and had a fabulous time. We never tired of the ocean view or the sound of crashing waves nearby. The location was also ideal for walking to numerous tasty restaurants. Highly recommend this property with 3 bedrooms with their own private baths, along with an additional two more baths. It was an ideal rental with a super responsive management team. Don’t hesitate to stay here. You will love it.

Amazing building. Huge apartment. Lots of space. Conveniently placed in front of the beach. Lots of great restaurants 10 minutes away by foot. But u had to walk through an area that had sewage water running on the street and the smell was horrendous. Other than that, great place and highly recommended.

Beautiful location....just need some more cleanliness.

We had a very good time. Lots of restaurants (small ones and big ones). Had some good local guides for help. Easy access to the beach Had a small issue with one of the airconditioned. But maintenance responded quickly. There was a trash area that stank pretty badly right outside the property.

Awesome location and amenities

Our stay was fantastic. We were there for 5 days and enjoyed the property, amenities and location. It is within walking distance to fantastic restaurants, bars and shops. Everyone on site was nice and helpful; we really appreciated the around-the-clock security, though we felt safe walking everywhere, even at night. Communication with the on-site property manager and the host was excellent with very fast responses. We had no issues with the property. The only thing I warn about is that the mattresses are firm but we used the extra pillows provided for support. I am used to a very soft pillow top mattress but this was not anything to detract from the star rating. ☺️ We would definitely stay here again.

BTW, if you are looking to purchase Condos or villas in Punta Cana area you need to speak with Scott Medina, the owner of GPREV. This dude is dialed in - he has been in business in Punta Cana since 2007 - He knows everyone and everyone knows him! He is honest, kind, patient, extremely knowledgeable, and an AWESOME dude with an AWESOME staff!!!

Excellent Vacation

We stayed 9 nights 10 days with our adult children. We had an excellent stay. The property was clean and well stocked. The pool and beach were beautiful!! The staff was very helpful and answered any questions we had. You are able to walk to the market and many restraunts!! We did have one issue in the middle of the night. We woke at 2am to a sink pipe that had ruptured and we had a lot of water on the condo floor. They had two maintenance people there within 10 minutes who fixed and cleaned up the mess. This could of happened to anyone so I am not faulting them for this. I was truly impressed in how the situation was handled!! We are definitely going to rent here in the future!!

Amazing with a few flaws!

Our stay was wonderful! The property was gorgeous, the pool was warm, and the weather was perfect. The view was worth every cent. A few things to note: the stove is not easy to light, you have to use a lighter. Also, the door handle/lock was very fidgety. Took us multiple tries to unlock the door to get in (you have to pull the door forwards and unlock). The pool hours are 8am-8pm which was a little disappointing, since we wanted to swim at night. The surrounding neighborhood is very run down and has a horrible odor problem. There are plenty of stores, shops and markets to check out right around the property, however constant construction/Odor makes it hard to navigate. We highly recommend citrus, a restaurant nearby. This was collectively our favorite place to eat. Overall this place was absolutely gorgeous, me and my family had a wonderful stay!

Fantastic!!!

This property is exactly as shown on line! The unit, 3 bedroom & 5 bathroom is very spacious & can easily accommodate 6 people. The location is perfect; with the pool in front (which we only used once, sadly) and the beach only 20 steps away, making our pre-breakfast swims extremely accessible! The beach is amazing, we walked an hour or two several times and didn't run out of sand. The shops near by (literally under 5 minutes to everything you need from food, booze, medicine, clothing and souvenirs) allowed us to purchase everything we needed for 2 weeks for 4 people. (we did go to Jumbo at the start of our trip but had no need to go again) Produce truck was 2 blocks away almost every day, beautiful produce at super prices! Water was very easy to get delivered, once we figured it out. Ivan, our day security man was wonderful, friendly, helpful & funny as anything! Our driver, Victor, was fantastic!!! Offered all the information we asked about including tours, excursions & local history!! The property manager was very accessible when we were in need. We all highly recommend this property! Thank you!!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have always gone to all inclusive resorts. In fact, we have stayed right down the beach at the Melia many times. We will never consider again! This condo was amazing. Our rental experience was so perfect, we have determined that all-inclusives are a waste of money. We stayed at this beautiful condo for 10 days with my husband, my sister and her husband and our single friend. We spent less than we would have for a week at an all inclusive, with the bonus of our spacious beautiful beach, a pool steps away and a wonderful view of the ocean while we sipped coffee on the patio! No rushing to secure chairs, no rushing to get coffee at the buffet before it closed, no rushing to find 5 spots together at the pool. Just lounging in bed, different restaurants every night (or leftovers, or simple homemade guac - I said NO COOKING and we held to that!). Grocery stores short walking distance away with many restaurant choices around the corner. We felt like we had a more interesting and dynamic vacation. The staff at the building could not have been more friendly and helpful, and when we had a small issue with the water cooler the response was quick and friendly! We will absolutely be back!

Great vacation-you will never get tired of the view

My husband and I stayed at Costa Atlantica C302 for a month. Overall, the vacation was wonderful! It was all that we wanted: relaxation, sun, water, good food and drinks! Pro: The apartment's location is the best. You have the best view of the gorgeous pool and the beach. Sitting on the balcony with the breeze and your favorite drink was the best. The staff at Costa Atlantica (who are not the one's we rented from- GoPuntaCana is the one you are renting from) were so very nice and helpful. The staff from GoPuntaCana were very fast in responding to your needs. The Costa Atlantica complex grounds are very well maintained and with security on the beach and street entrances. The salt water pool is beautiful. One of the best pools to enjoy anytime of the day. There are mini marts and restaurants within 5-10 minutes walking distance from the apartment. We found the restaurants had extremely good service and quality of food. Our favorites were Citrus, La Bruja and Jellyfish. Cons The apartment needs much love and care. There are maintenance issues with walls and cabinets, furnishing and window treatments (take eye mask). It feels like it has been neglected for a little bit. The air conditioning and hot water heater had issues that should have been resolved before we got there but eventually were resolved. The location of Costa Atlantica complex is on roads with many needs. There are full of potholes and very little room for pedestrians to walk.

14 days in this beautiful Atlantic facing Condo

First and foremost, the people we met made the difference - everyone was truly engaged to help us have a great time. Ever day we were greeted with sincere smiles, holas, handshakes and cheer. The staff in and around the property were polite and genuine - it really made us feel welcome and enjoy our stay. The beach front and access to the water was also really nice, there is a small shower to wash the sand off before returning in. Beach chairs, loungers, palm tree umbrellas were plentiful. The only part that should be addressed is there are remnants of a dock or structure in the water that would be easy for small ones to get on, sharp edges. The condo itself is wonderful - it is huge inside, high ceilings, large rooms and comfortable beds. Everything is as listed in the description with the exception of some kitchen items. As the listing states, there is no food items left behind. No salt/pepper, sugar, no left-overs at all. If you plan to cook while there, you would need everything. There are 3 small stores within easy walking distance that can supply everything you might need. they too are super friendly and helpful. Want the absolute best driver while there? Call on Victor Santana. GoPunta will help connect you. He was indispensable in getting us around, to/from the airport, local beaches, very reasonable rates, his vehicles were in great shape and safe. Great location and beach

The property looked like the photos - great pool and fine sand beach. Clean beach, and there was lots of security around. Restaurant next door will sell you drinks. Lots of chairs and umbrellas available at no charge. There were beach vendors, but everyone was very polite. Management company was very responsive to questions, etc. Staff was friendly. We felt safe in the neighborhood and on the beach. We could walk to half a dozen restaurants, a couple of convenience stores, and a good small grocery store. You need to order water to be delivered. Ask at the desk. The condo itself really needs some updating and refreshing. The kitchen is in serviceable but rough shape. There were chunks missing out of the lower cabinets, and watch out for the dishwasher door - it falls open and is heavy. Only 2 cycles worked on the dishwasher, but it got the job done. The condo only had the minimum of cups, dishes, etc. and no spices, dishwasher soap, etc. The kitchen was clean, and the appliances look pretty new. Lighting is pretty dim in the bathrooms, especially. Electricity is quite expensive there, so that may account for the tiny led lights. There is a safe in the primary bedroom that works, and a tv in there. No tv in the other two bedrooms. I think the unit may be for sale, and hopefully the new owner will do some refreshing. The size is great, our group of 5 had plenty of room. If you can overlook a few things, this is a good value and an awesome location.

New to Condo Vacation

We typically stay at all inclusive resorts for our vacations. This was our first experience doing a condo in a foreign country so it was an all new experience. First, the rental company was amazing! They were extremely responsive and helpful with all of our questions. They had a guest app that was beyond thorough and worked extremely well. I would highly recommend Go Punta Cana Vacations! Our condo was exactly as it was featured and pictured. It was spotless and huge! It did have some minor wear and tear but nothing major. What we loved was a mid week cleaning was offered complimentary! This was a nice surprise and the cleaning was thorough. They even replenished toilet paper, paper towels and soaps . Because we typically stay at all- inclusive resorts, we had a bit of a learning curve with getting around to the various restaurants. Most are in walking distance but for others, Uber was always available and inexpensive. We learned the hard way the first couple of days using cabs. Uber is much cheaper! We found food costs to be comparable to the US and restaurants were also in line with what we are used to at home. I would recommend cooking breakfast and lunch in the condo and going out to the great restaurants for dinner. The infrastructure in and around the condo building was poor and the street was flooded most days due to the poor drainage but easily managed by taking the beach or walking carefully around the flooded areas. The building had 24-7 security which was nice and the security guards helped with luggage, groceries etc. be sure to brush up on your Spanish as most don’t speak English very well. The translator app came in handy! The beach vendors are also plentiful and very persistent. We did do a few tours that were offered and found them to be a good value and safe. The condo had beach chairs and towels and even offered some Tommy Bahama beach chairs for us to use as well. The pool was very nice and cleaned regularly. Our kids met other kids staying at the building and had a ball all week. The islands tourists are all different nationalities so it was nice to see our kids interacting with kids from other cultures. Unfortunately the week we were here, the beach was full of Seaweed. This is naturally occurring and can’t be helped but the staff worked hard each day to clean it up as best as they could. My understanding is the seaweed is not constant but comes in from time to time. Definitely recommended!

Fantastic Condo, Excellent Staff

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We stayed for 2 weeks at the beautiful C302 condo at Costa Atlantica. We rented through Go Punta Cana. The condo is beautiful, very clean, the kitchen is fully equipped and the view, well the view is just breathtaking !. The staff at Costa Atlantica was amazing and it is a very safe complex. Lots of families with young (quiet) children. No parties or loud music, just very nice chill environment. No issues finding beach chairs in the shade (so glad they added a few years ago the palappa's). The ocean was nice and warm with no stones or shells and there was always someone maintaining the beach front. Grocery shopping is easy, a 10 min Uber ride to Jumbo or you can walk to Cicolella. We would love to come back !

The Perfect Place For A Perfect Getaway

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was our 2nd stay at Costa Atlantica and just as it was the 1st time, it was again....perfect. Leiny and Carla were excellent and able to answer any questions we had. We ran into a minor issue, one of the thermostats in the bedroom broke. We notified the staff and a member of the maintenance team came and had it fixed the very next morning. Costa Atlantica is slowly becoming our home away from home. We even recommended it to a few people who were traveling and planned on returning soon. I highly recommend this olacd if you're looking for a nice place with the beach right outside your door. If you go, tell Antonio (the security guard during the day) that Jessica from Estados Unidos said "que lo que?" Until next time.......

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The Condo was beautifully decorated with an amazing view, right on the beach. So much room in that condo made it very comfortable for us all! The rooms were clean and well kept. Shopping, dining, entertainment, and the rental office were all was in close proximity. My family had an amazing time, we were all happy. Couple of problems for me, no hot water, I called and they sent someone, but it wasn't fixed. Also, the dishes were not all clean.

Relaxing Beach Experience
