Linda - the host - is awesome. She is welcoming and responsive. She lives in the complex and if there anything you need, she'll get it for you. She arranged our transportation, recommended restaurants, etc. The place itself is great. Clean with a great view of the pool and steps from the beach. The location is great - there are a large number of different restaurants near the complex. Had one of the most relaxing vacations ever. The nearest surfing spot is in Macau, which is a 30-minute taxi ride. There are not really any surfable waves in front of the complex, so if your goal is surfing, you may want to consider renting a car.

Check in was fine, host and Property Manager were helpful. Condo is described as “penthouse”. It’s just on top floor of building along with a half dozen other units. Nothing special to warrant that description. The second bedroom is a loft which provides little privacy, probably only good for young kids. Adults seeking second bedroom and bathroom would not like layout. No effort by property to cleanup Sargassum (seaweed). If you want to enjoy the ocean you have to walk down to neighboring properties who have barriers set up and remove the piles daily. This was an inconvenience, you’re better off staying at a property who is cleaning it up instead of having to smell the stench while on beach. Host only mentioned the sargassum after the one week cancellation period had passed. Could have been a coincidence? We could have researched better. The pool is great, huge, quiet, with plenty of seating. onsite restaurant is good and Convenient. Overall this is a fine place for the price. Not spectacular but not bad.

Amazing Vacation

We enjoyed a fabulous week staying here. The condo was beautifully decorated and had everything you could need. The complex was very nice & and very secure. The pool was so relaxing. Linda & Vicente are amazing host. They were so helpful & had so many great suggestions & advice. They were amazing! Any issues we had, they addressed and immediately. We cant wait to return.

Paradise in Punta Cana

Our family had an excellent vacation in Punta Cana. The condo was great and within short walking distance from various supermarkets and restaurants. People in the area are very friendly to tourists. The condo overlooked the pool and the ocean which was great for the kids.

Punta Cana Family Vacation

My family and I stayed in April of 2025 for 1 week. The location is beautiful and you are steps away from the pool or the beach. Lynnette and Linda were excellent at communicating with me when I had questions. We arrived a bit early and they allowed us to enter the condo early. It has all the amenities you need and there is a supermarket you can walk to and get groceries. Outside of the condo complex there are several restaurants you can walk to. Thanks for being excellent hosts.

Lovely place.

Overall, this was a great and ideal place to stay. Condo was clean, efficient and the property manager was very sweet and accessible during our stay. Also, we were given directions on places to see and things to do, but definitely come back in the near future. Great location.

Beautiful spot!

The property is beautiful. The only downfall was the stairs but once at the top, the hike up is forgotten. . View from the balcony is stunning. Everything needed for a great vacation was accessible. Would gladly come back again. Thank you for sharing your home.

Stanza Mare Gem

Really enjoyed our one month stay at Lynnette and Don's condo in Stanza Mare. The condo is very well maintained and the kitchen is well stocked with everything needed. The deck setup is very comfortable and the view is amazing. You can tell there is pride of ownership in the condo. The Stanza Mare complex is beautiful with all the plants and trees and a gorgeous pool at the center of it all with plenty of lounge chairs. The absolute best part is the stunning beach and ocean with plenty of palapas and beach chairs. The host Linda made the check-in/check-out and airport transportation seamless. Really enjoyed our stay and plan to return.

Wonderful Time

We (husband and 2 boys 10 and 15) really enjoyed our time in the DR. Airport transport was seamless, quick check in, friendly staff, very clean facility. Enjoyed the pool everyday and found the on site restaurant great for lunch and drinks. The apartment was clean and comfortable with ample bedding and towels. kids enjoyed the loft but could see how it would be less ideal for older/bigger people due to stairs/bed size. Had a problem with the ac units going out but was swiftly fixed thanks to Linda. Beautiful ocean view from the balcony true to the photos. A short walk away are plenty of restaurants, shops, pharmacy, ATM, convenience and grocery store. Uber and quick and easy. Very friendly people we enjoyed visiting with. The beach has beautiful sand but was disappointed by the seaweed, smell it caused and dirty water right in front of the Stanza Mare, which we did not swim in. However the entire beach is public so you can walk just a short distance to find cleaner beach and water. As a whole I found this location to not provide a pristine beach if that is what you are looking for I suggest looking elsewhere. The water is murky and not good for swimming/snorkeling unless you take a boat further out. Some harassing especially at the “shopping plaza” but all other times a polite no thank you was adequate to be left in peace. Would not return as too many other islands to explore and disappointed in beach but enjoyed our time here.

best vacation spot yet

For a relaxing down south vacation this ticked all the boxes...it was everything the pictures showed and the descriptions on line were accurate. With 24/7 security we felt 100% safe. The condo was well equipped with everything we needed We went outside the condo area before dark several times where you can access small gift shops, grocery and liquor stores and everything was just a short walk. For grocery we took Uber to a jumbo grocery store and it had everything we needed. Our Hosts Lynn and Don we fantastic and we cant wait to go back.

A gem!

My family and I just returned from a 7-day stay at this beautiful condo in Punta Cana. We absolutely did not want to leave, but as they say, good things sometimes have to come to an end! To begin, the communication from the property managers, Linda and Vicente, was excellent. Prior to our trip, we were sent a welcome packet of information that told us many pieces of helpful information. We chose to have Linda arrange for our airport transportation. Our driver was waiting for us and immediately grabbed all of our luggage to load in the van. It was a short 25 minute ride from the airport to the condo. The driver carried all our luggage for us! Linda greeted us upon arrival to show us around. As for the condo, we felt it was even better than the photos. The porch overlooking the pool was amazing. It was situated right on a gorgeous beach. You can walk/run for miles along the shoreline! There is a pool bar and eatery that is just for Stanza Mare residents/ renters right along side of the pool. Great drinks and okay food. It was open 7:00 am-6:00 pm. There were plenty of lounge chairs, tables, and umbrellas available for us to use. At the beach, there were lounge chairs brought out every morning and placed under the thatched roof umbrellas. We did not need to rent a car during our stay. All the local restaurants and shops are just a few blocks from the condo. Water sports and excursions are close by, as well. We will definitely be back! I also loved that we could book Tues-Tues.

Condo in Punta Cana

Condo complex was extremely nice and clean, with great beach and pool area. Was a little disappointed in sleeping arrangements for 4 adults. Upstairs loft was difficult to access with spiral staircase and not very private. Bathroom for loft area was on first floor. But, who goes to Punta Cana to stay in room? Surrounding area had lots of restaurants, etc. Information provided at check-in was most helpful. Airport pick-up and return was flawless.

Great condo for family vacation

The condo was perfect for our family holiday. Having a separate sleeping area in the loft with twin beds made the condo especially suited for our two kids. The pool and direct access to the beach was also a big bonus as we saw several other condos where the residents had to walk to the beach. The arrival experience was excellent as Linda provided us with all the information we needed for our stay and was available on site for any questions. We arranged for airport pickup and drop off which was very convenient. We tried several local restaurants which were within easy waking distance and the small grocery store provided everything we needed for our stay. We even had a friendly fruit vendor that was parked on the street to provide delicious local fruit at a very reasonable price. We arranged surfing at Macao beach through Punta Cana Surf Adventures and we would highly recommend them to anyone interested in trying surfing. Overall the stay was excellent and we would recommend this condo for others looking to enjoy DR. The one drawback was that the area surrounding the condo is quite loud, dirty and busy, especially during rush hour. A few times we felt unsafe while walking to dinner as cars and mopeds were speeding by us on the very narrow sidewalk. Visitors should also be aware that as soon as they step on any beach or street they will pounced upon by vendors of all kinds which gets tiresome. Linda was very good at warning us to be wary of people selling excursions.

Wonderful Vacation

We just spent a week at the unit (6/10 - 6/17, 2023) and had a wonderful experience. The view was as advertised. We enjoyed a beverage on the patio every evening. I walked (to the right) on the beach each morning at 6am and felt very safe. Plenty of restaurants in the area of lunch or dinner. We ate breakfast and lunch in the room (simple sandwiches), and enjoyed a nice dinner. Walking on the streets to restaurants save a great deal of $$ over the beachfront restaurants. Unless you plan to cook full meals in the unit you do not need a grocery store stop @ the Jumbo market. We found the little shop around the corner from the unit had all that we needed. LVR arranged several excursions for us and each was a delight. Onsite restaurant had rave reviews from others. We found it to be "okay" not great. This could be b/c not in season. Check-in with LVR was great. Going to the complex office on Sunday to get our wristbands not as great of an experience. The person was 30 minutes late opening and only opened after some one went to the restaurant and basically dragged her back. She was chatting with her friend - we had breakfast there and saw her although at the time we did not know she should be in front office.

Beautiful, Comfy Place on the Beach!!

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our one week stay in this lovely condo unit, # G405!! It was exactly what we wanted -- a nice quiet place on the beach and within walking distance of all necessary shopping and great restaurants. The onsite poolside restaurant is perfect for breakfast or lunch (closes at 6pm) and there are several really good restaurants close by for evening dinners. The beach is amazingly beautiful! The large pool -- which is open until 10pm -- is also wonderful. We had a few tranquil nighttime swims. The managers, Linda and Vincent, live onsite and are amazing with communication and making sure we had everything we needed for a wonderful stay! Highly recommend staying here for a memorable Caribbean beach vacation!
