Muy bien situado
El hotel está al lado de la plaza de armas y en una calle muy comercial con muchos restaurantes. Se ve un poco viejo pero está bien. Lo malo, al tener la situación que tiene, es bastante ruidoso y entra claridad ya que las cortinas no son muy opacas

El hotel está bien ubicado y es cómodo, pero la atención del personal deja que desear. Nunca me dieron si quiera un comprobante de los consumos ni de la habitación. Les pedí apoyarme para buscar otro hotel porque estaban rebalsados y nunca lo hicieron ni por cortesía me informaron.

Breve estadia
Hotel muy bien ubicado, a una cuadra de la plaza de armas. Poca aislacion de las habitaciones no permiten buen descanso ( bocinas de vehículos, otros pasajeros, etc.) Primer día no hubo agua caliente, lo cual fue una complicación después de un viaje de 9 hrs en moto. Cuenta con un precario estacionamiento a unas 3 cuadras del hotel

Buena estancia.

Ideal
Ideal hotel con estilo moderno dentro de un edificio con fachada colonial. El personal extremadamente atento. Las habitaciones espaciosas y muy limpias. Tanto las sábanas como las toallas de excelente calidad. Desayuno muy completo y abundante. Es un hotel para recomendar.

Nos quedamos en dos tramos. El primero fue bueno pero la.habitación era oscura y se sentía más pequeña de lo que era. En el segundo fue mucho mejor, en general es muy bueno.

De cuatro estrellas, pero al final, de dos o menos
La habitación pequeña. No había espacio para abrir 2 maletas. La habitación y, el hotel en general, sucio. Las toallas y el baño, sucios. Hacía frío. Las ventanas no cerraban bien, ni en la habitación ni en el baño. Este se comunicaba con el baño de la habitación de al lado por un ventanuco. Se oía todo. Había un radiador enano y de poca potencia. La ubicación fue lo único que tenía bueno. La calidad del servicio no fue buena. Lo intentaban, pero creo que el personal no tenía la preparación para conseguirlo. En una ocasión tuvimos que esperar casi una hora para poder cenar porque el responsable de la cocina había dejado la despensa cerrada con llave.

This is a very nice hotel with a friendly staff but unfortunately it has horrible Internet. If you are a tourist staying one night, it is a fine place. We were there for business and it has a lot of policies that are unfriendly to business travelrrs in addition to the Internet, which is often unusable. And instead of a managed WiFi they have five routers and you just have to find one that works We booked a larger room so we could have some private meetings only to find out that no guests are allowed in the room, which was never disclosed at booking. They did offer to let us meet in the common space but it was not as private. The breakfast is really nice and the rooms are spacious and modern.

I was surprised how nice this place is , been a budget hotel. It is less than two minutes walk to main square. Front desk crew is so charming and helpful. Place offers a great breakfast buffet .

I felt that the room was too dark aside from that I must say that they provide excellrnt service. I had altitude sickness and they call a doctor who came to my room. Their prices were very reasonable when it comes to the refreshments in the in room refrigerator.

Casino Plaza...not a shopping centre, but a nice H
A great location, just off the Plaza de Armas. A beautifully presented Hotel. Clean, comfortable and friendly staff. Spacious common areas, with a variety of seating. A reasonably priced restaurant, with nicely prepared food. The room was clean, comfortable bedding...with a functional private bathroom. We can recommend this Hotel, which is close to all amenities.

The location was good. The breakfast was adequate. We were also able to get our laundry done for a fair price. The room was nice. The only issues were that the room refrigerator did not work. The room internet was not working for all three days we were there. We had to go to the lobby for internet.

Mitten in der Nacht angekommen. Unkomplizierter Empfang. Altehrwürdige Zimmer. Frühstück in der Sonne im Arkadengang im 1. Stock mit Blick auf die Plaza und Kathedrale. Heizung im Zimmer (im Winter) war nicht vorhanden und nicht nötig. Einfach, preiswert und emphehlenswert.

Good hotel in ideal location
My friend and I have been traveling in Peru and have lucked out in all the hotels we've stayed in thus far. We booked through Expedia and when we got off the bus, they said they didn't have a room for us...but when I arrived with our confirmation in hand, they got things going. The staff were friendly, informative and helpful. The beds were comfortable, though a bit dark in terms of lighting. This hotel was in a great location right near everything in Puno and we were happy we stayed there...and would definitely come again!

Ótima estadia
Quarto excelente, cama confortável, aquecedor no quarto, banheiro grande e com ótimo chuveiro. Ficamos em um quarto com janela para dentro do hotel, desta forma, o quarto era bastante silencioso. Porém, há quartos com janelas para a rua que devem ser bastante barulhentos devido às buzinas incessantes dos motoristas peruanos.

Underwhelming hotel with good location
Casona Plaza was an ok choice for Puno where choices are limited. It was quite dated but overall fairly clean and comfortable and our room (king suite) was spacious. There was a heater which was much appreciated as it was quite cool in September. The breakfast was average. The location was good for exploring Puno, close to restaurants, markets and the plaza with the cathedral. Puno overall felt safe to walk around. We were able to walk to the train station but would not advise it if you have luggage as the streets and sidewalks are uneven. Taxis were available and reasonable. Luckily we got a discounted rate for our room which made it a fairly good value. At full price I would have considered it way overpriced. There were a couple of negatives. There was no bottled water provided except through purchase at the minibar. In every hotel we stayed in for a month in Peru water was provided because the water in Peru is not drinkable. This is obviously standard practice in Peru hotels. Also the staff at the hotel, especially the front desk, seemed unfriendly, bordering on rude. Not sure what was going on but we would probably try a different hotel if we stayed in Puno again.

Attractive hotel near city center
Stayed there only one night, found it similar to a nice hotel we stayed at in Lima and better than any of the other hotels we stayed at in Peru. Unfortunately they didn't have a room for us for additional nights, but we were able to use the computer in the lobby to find another hotel, and the Casona stored our luggage overnight until we were able to transfer it, so very helpful staff!

Toutes les chambres donnent sur un corridor central où on aperçois le hall d'entrée en bas. C'est très écho et bruyant bouchons de mise. Par contre l'hôtel est situé au cœur de la place d'armes et c'est très commode.
