"The photos on the listing don’t do the apartment justice. The bed was so comfy as were the recliners in the lounge. It was so close to everything and great coffee across the road. The apartment had everything I needed. Unfortunately the wifi wasn’t able to support streaming Netflix but that would be the only (small) negative. I’ll definitely be back for another stay!"

"We had a wonderful two night stay at hotel california. We were late to check in, however was seamless for us after hours to speak to staff and get the run down, checked into the room just as the sun was setting over the vineyards. A stunning place to stay, easily located with everything you need within 10 min drive. We hired bikes from SA E Bikes and got them dropped to the property, we rode around the local wineries all day and ended our day back here to do a tasting. "

"Marketed as five-star, but the rating seems to ride on the location and not much more. Interiors feel tired, and the rooms lack luxury. Towels are rough and carry a lingering smell of cooking grease—more budget motel than premium stay. Coffee is reduced to a kettle and sachets; no pod machine. There’s also no visible effort toward sustainability—no recycling bins in the room or anywhere obvious in the hotel. Sleep is a gamble - noise bleeds in from every direction: promanade maintenance crews...
