"This stay was nothing short of perfect, in large part due to Melba and her family were incredible hosts. My husband and I drove up from TN for a family reunion, and loved having a place to stay all to ourselves. The location was great--only about 20 minutes to where we needed to go in any direction. "The property decking was rotten at places and dangerous. Railing at stairs were broken and falling apart. I fell due to no leaf removal. Washer broken on arrival, blind broken next to fireplace. Cobwebs throughout property. Not impressed with property at all. Also, Bernard’s landing had a card inside to rent from them directly for 30% discount which is a problem for VRBO. I have been using VRBO for years and never this dissatisfied with a property. Definitely not impressed "
