Summer family cabin on Lake Ontario, Pulaski NEWLY UPDATED!!

  • Esta es nuestra cómoda cabaña familiar de Verano. Está situado en un terreno de triple cerca de 200 pies de la orilla del lago Ontario. Tiene lago delantero derecho de vía, y está en una calle privada de playa. Hay dos dormitorios en el primer piso, cama matrimonial en habitación grande, cama matrimonial en la segunda habitación. Baño completo con ducha. Zona de arriba es un área abierta sin terminar con tres camas matrimoniales y una individual. Ropa de cama y toallas. Una cocina totalmente equipada con cocina eléctrica, nevera, microondas, cafetera, licuadora, platos, ollas y sartenes y utensilios. Todo lo que necesita para sus vacaciones !! En nuestra terraza exterior hay una mesa al aire libre, sillas y sombrilla, y también una parrilla de gas. Patio trasero está vallada para seguridad de los niños o mascotas. También hay un pozo de fuego y sillas de jardín para usted fogatas. Jardín delantero está muy bien cuidada, con mucho espacio para actividades al aire libre y estacionamiento. Estamos ubicados cerca de lugares de interés histórico y el campus en Oswego, divertidas atracciones en Port Ontario como Miniature Golf and Go Carts, restaurantes y tiendas en Pulaski, Marinas locales para alquilar barcos. Almuerzo Barco Estado unos 10 minutos si su trayendo un barco o jet ski. Cerca de Tiendas de cebo. O lo mejor de todo .... sentarse, hacer algo de pesca, natación, caminar, y pasar un rato agradable en familia tranquila juntos.

Our stay was lovely. The camp is so quiet and peaceful. Great yard for our pets. The host was so helpful and responsive. The camp is well equipped and fairly close to grocery shopping if you forget something.

Quiet and Peaceful

We had a wonderful stay, it was close to the water, clean, quiet and had everything we needed. It was close to beaches, stores and restaurants. It was child and pet friendly. The property owners were very helpful .

It was a wonderful stay for the week at Lake Ontario. The listing is accurately described and has a large lawn for games and fenced in backyard as well. It was great for our family gathering!

Peaceful

I was looking for a place for myself to relax and think. The house was cute, and I enojoyed sitting in the backyard watching the bunnies and listening to the birds. Perfect space for what I needed.

Quiet area. Loved the fenced in part for the dogs. Lake is across the street. I got some awesome drone photoage of the area added to my library. House had everything I needed.

Perfect for us!

Our family has owned camps on Ramona Beach since the 1920s. We were in town for a family reunion and this was perfect for my brother and I. Short walk to our family camp. Easy access to the lake.

Chris’ Cabin

Nice place to stay as location is perfect for Salmon River fishing. Chris was very helpful and accessible. Fenced in yard was great for our corgi.

Perfect for family

Wonderful place, lots of room inside and out, close to state parks and beaches. Chris was a welcoming and thoughtful host. We appreciated the ramp to the back door so that our elderly uncle could visit.

Very quiet and relaxing. Average-sized rooms very cozy. Extremely clean. Easy wi-fi access with large screen TV. Large yard with firepit. Close to state parks and New York State Salmon Hatchery which was informative and beautiful. Close to Oswego with the many things to do there.

Lake Ontario

Perfect camp for fishing trip to Lake Ontario. Four adults and 2 dogs. Everything you need and more. Plenty of parking easy access to food and gas. Would definitely stay again! Owner Chris was excellent

Quiet and comfortable

Easy and quick to settle in. Dog ramp to fenced-in yard was nice for our dogs. Everything we needed was there.

Long weekend getaway

We had an amazing time at this property. Kitchen was very well stocked for cooking and eating. Lots of indoor and outdoor activities. Dogs absolutely loved the fenced in backyard. Quiet private road with wonderful friendly people. Highly recommend!

Great get-away

Owner was very helpful and informative. Cottage is well equipped and very clean. Just bring your clothes and toothbrush! Restaurants and grocery stores conveniently located close by. Fenced in yard was great for our dogs, so they had fun too.

Fishing trip

This property was just as advertised. A great location, easy access to 2 boat launches for the fishermen/scuba crowd, and a lovely neighborhood, yard and lake access for the rest of us who just hung out, including two active dogs that enjoyed swimming. Simple kitchen with nice grill, and we didnt miss the A/c. Very nice and accessible owner.

Perfect lake cottage

This lake cottage was perfect for our stay. It was clean and located right across the road from lake Ontario. It has a fenced in backyard and large spacious front yard with a great grill. Chris and his wife were so helpful and left everything one might need in the house. Although there is no wifi it was a great way to get away and there is cell service. Also although it was summertime it is cool at night with a breeze so the lack of AC is no problem at all. We had a great stay and will be back.

Everything you need in a perfect location

Chris was a fabulous hostess. Met us at house to show us around. Literally all you need to bring is your toiletries (and there are some there as well) and your food (although multi grocery stores are rather close). Chairs, tubes, water boards, chairs, firewood, linens, towels - yup, all there :). Location is perfect with easy access to lake and beach across street. Many, many state parks very close as well. Gas station, pizza, delis and ice cream places are close by as well. Weekend we hit a few local flea mkts. Very quaint home, but very comfortable. Only fans, but honestly, only 1 afternoon it felt a lil warm inside..but it was also 90 outside. Just open all the windows w/fans and its perfection. Back yard was perfect with fire pit and fenced in for my gkids and 2 dogs. TY again Chris - we will be back!!

Excellent host, great property

This was the first time booking with Vrbo. I want to say how wonderful Chris was for a host. She was very quick to respond to messages and get back to me with any questions I had. When we arrived there was a half dozen eggs and a half gallon of milk in the fridge. With a family with two small kids this was a nice gesture and we used it all. The home had plenty of space for us all and we loved the fenced in back yard for the kids to play in. It was close to town about 7 minutes to main town of Pulaski. The description was good about the rental although I took it as the house was on the waterside of the road, but it was across the road. But all in all we had a great time and would highly recommend this place and Chris as a host. I want to thank Chris for allowing us to stay an extra night. I had reached out about a late check out Monday so we could fish another day and we were offered another night, which was so great and amazing.

Okay, But Needs Improvement

Property somewhat dated & could use a deeper cleaning, as rooms and the outdoor areas were dirty. Designed for hunters and fishermen primarily. Master bedroom had the water heater, yet was quite cold most of the time. First two days were in the forties, and a small oil radiator and space heater didn't help much. No closets, just hooks for clothing and limited drawer storage space. It was okay for the week. Fortunately, severely potholed entry road was graded the 2nd day in. We visited many historic sites once weather improved for rest of week there. Microwave was atop fridge, but wife stands only 5'4" tall; hard to reach for her to use (hubby 6'4"). Also hard to read the panel; as many lights out.

A great place to get away!

Chris is not kidding when she says bring your food and your clothes. She has thought of everything you might need for your stay at the cottage! We enjoyed taking walks down the road, throwing rocks in the lake, the beautiful sunsets over the lake each night and a great fire around the fire pit each night. Although the cottage is across the road you can still hear the waves with the windows open. The one mistake we made was to take an early morning walk.....the mosquitoes were terrible in the morning and in the evening which is normal for the area. We just waited a bit the next day and put on more bug spray. We were there with two adults and two children and slept very comfortably in the two downstairs bedrooms. There was room for plenty more with the beds upstairs. The fenced in yard was wonderful for the toddler travelling with us! The windows and ceiling fan kept the house a comfortable temperature for the four August days we were there. We are looking forward to staying again!!

Too late now

I received a message from owner about construction going on and that it was supposed to be done by the tenth long before our arrival. She mentioned it shouldn’t interrupt our stay. So we didn’t think much about it. At check in it was far too late to cancel but the entire back yard that was supposed to be fenced in so my dogs could run and play was a terrible disappointment. The entire side of the house was dig up, mud, dirt 3 foot trenches around the home workers pounding and hammering until after 6pm. I had to clean the microwave before use, the fridge still has several different opened containers of condiments etc, the stairs to the upstairs were extremely steep and the only hand trail was a piece of trim molding. The host was sweet as she could be however I can not recommend this place.
