"With this house you get an awful lot of dampness along side all the wonders of a beautiful bush setting, and fantastic morning bird song. There are dehumidifiers downstairs that barely take the edge off the appalling damp, moldy smell down where the lower bedrooms are. "The property was just as advertised. We had such a pleasant stay. Everything we needed is available. The bed was nice and comfy. It felt like our home away from home. The location was pretty handy too. It wasn't too far from either ski field and was so close to Turangi for groceries and gas. It's a shame we didn't stay longer and the weather wasn't so great. We could have explored the lakeside and surrounding areas more! Definitely worth a come back!"

"Our group of four had a fantastic stay at Tracy and Steve's well-equipped property. The house had everything we needed - fully stocked kitchen, all linen provided, and a cozy fireplace that kept us warm. "Our party of 12 had a great stay at Tessa property. Location was perfect for what we wanted (kids had a ball riding their bikes around the nice quite cul-de-sac, river/local cafe/playground within nice walking distance). House was well stocked w everything we needed & had plenty of room for everyone (kids loved all staying together in the big bunk room). Brazier was a nice touch for some mid-winter cheer. Tessa was a very responsive & accommodating host."

Despite calling the owner who responded very quickly assuring us someone would be round the next day to unlock them, the windows remained locked for our whole stay. Not ideal :("
