Lugar paradisiaco en medio de la jungla en el bello Puerto Viejo ( muy seguro)

Es una villa ( tres cabinas finamente decorada en medio de la jungla) este lugar es el paraíso. Atención personalizada por parte de Pablo y Sandra. Y soporte inmediato de Zvezda. Lugar muuuy seguro.. sin duda Ginger & Cacao es un destino obligado para cualquier turista..

Preciosas villas en medio de la selva

En general un muy bonito lugar, con casas preciosas en medio de la selva a pasos de bellas playas, buenos restaurantes. Las casas además son muy bonitas con mucho estilo, y se dispone de una piscina muy agradables. El único inconveniente es que el acceso no es fácil, recomiendo de todas maneras un vehículos 4WD, aunque las villas están a menos de 300mts de la carretera (es un camino muy empinado y lleno de barro). Por otra parte me parece que el mobiliario es un poco frágil para niños pequeños (tuvimos que pagar un reembolso por la rotura de un sillón)

Paradise

Absolutely Amazing

We loved our stay!!! The villas and surroundings are beautiful. The owner Zvezda stopped by to introduce herself and welcome us. We sat around the pool every morning and drank coffee and went back to the pool in the evenings. There were less bugs than we expected, which was nice. The jungle sounds are incredible. We slept with the windows open so we could hear everything. We saw so many critters on the property. Howler Monkeys, spider monkeys, toucans, macaws, poison dart frogs, lizards. Agoutis and lots of sloths just down on the beach (in the trees). The caretaker Cesar was so friendly and helpful. We exchanged numbers on WhatsApp and he responded right away if we needed him!!! I would definitely recommend this place.5 stars

Private yet so close to the beach!

My family and I loved the location of the property. We enjoyed the privacy of the villas and the beautiful pool area. We saw monkeys early in the morning and late afternoon while the kids swam in the pool. My son spotted a poison dart frog off the patio. There was some excitement for all ages of my family. The beach was much closer than expected and there were several sodas nearby so we didn’t get back in our car until our departure. The caretakers were very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend!

Fantastisk dejligt sted. Der er ro og smukt.

Et dejligt sted med tæt til byen og naturen. Du bor midt i naturen og oplever dyrene i deres habitat. Vi blev taget godt imod og der er altid en house keeper til stede uden de fylder for meget. Vi havde en dør der var i stykker der blev repeteret med det samme. De tømte skraldespande midt på ugen og leverede nye håndklæder. God service.

A beautiful jungle getaway!

We loved our stay here for 2 weeks! The property is incredibly well maintained, and the hosts and property managers are fabulous. The pool cabana is a highlight and the closest beach is almost private. Because you are in the jungle, you need to be okay with all the creatures that come with it. That being said, the kids loved spotting all the wildlife!

Our stay at the property went well. We really used the property for sleeping purposes as well as breakfast prepping and did not enjoy the pool. The surrounding area is beautiful. Beaches and all were just heaven. A wonderful variation to the Guanacaste experience. only issue I would caution folks wanting to book is to have sleep masks as light does shine through 24/7, because at night there are motion sensor lighting. This is not a complain at all. I actually appreciate that being in a mountainous setting with such lush flora and fauna has lighting.

Puerto Viejo Tropical Paradise

What a beautiful property! Communication with the owner was fantastic. We rented the three casitas on the property and all were perfect for our group. The grounds and pool were immaculate. The wildlife was abundant with sloths, parrots, toucans, capuchin monkeys, howlers and more. Cesar and Maribel were there for all of our needs and made us feel safe. Would highly recommend for sure!

The Ginger Cacao

The house on the property we stayed at is called the Ginger Cacao. The view of the jungle and ocean from the balcony is exquisite. In the mornings you can hear and see many different birds and hear the howler monkeys in the trees nearby. We sat in the balcony listening and bird watching every day. The pool area and cabana are shared with the other two houses but only one house had visitors who were lovely people. The pool area is gorgeous and the grounds around the entire compound are well kept. The listing for the house we rented was confusing because we thought we were getting 2 bedrooms and 2 baths. If you count the living room as a bedroom, then I guess that is true, although the bench couch would need to be considered a bed. Thankfully my friend did not mind sleeping there and we loved the location, views, and property. There is a convenient store and some small restaurants in walking distance and plenty close by if you are driving or take the local taxi. There is also a nice grocery store in close driving distance. The Punta UVA beach is very close to the south and is gorgeous. The property manager was very responsive and the care-takers lovely and helpful people. We would visit again and stay at the ginger cacao in a heartbeat!

Amazing property

Our family (two kids ages 15 and 12) stayed a week here. It truly is an amazing property. Both houses were very clean and had everything we needed for a week. The owner is very easy to contact and will answer any questions you might have. She went out of her way to ensure we had a great time. Everything from setting up the shuttle to/from the airport to dinner recommendations to local attractions to visit. She is awesome! The on-site hosts (Cesar) was also very helpful. From bringing in our bags to setting up taxis. He was awesome. We spent almost every afternoon at the pool. It is a great place to relax and take in nature. In a week we saw macaws, howler monkeys, spider monkeys, sloths and iguanas all on the property. The pool is not an Olympic size pool but perfect for a small family to relax in. Or take a nap in the awesome lounge beds. The property is a bit from Puerto Viejo. Maybe a 8-10 min taxi ride or 20-30 min bike ride. Bike rentals are just at the bottom of the hill ($6 a day). Almost everyone rides bikes to get around. There are a few great restaurants within walking distance as well. Beach is about a 5 min walk. The climb up the road to the property is no joke! But at least and end of it you can head right to the pool to cool off! This truly is an amazing property. I would highly recommend staying here if you decide to vacation in the Puerto Viejo area. You won’t be disappointed!

Location and Paradise Perfection

This property has been cultivated to emphasize the color and beauty of the country. Waking up and seeing ocean views framed in with jungle and vibrant floral colors was an incredible part of the overall experience staying at these villas. One villa has the ocean view with the other views of the jungle. The property is in a perfect, private and gated location that only required a short walk down to the beach, restaurants and was also a short taxi or bike ride to nearby towns. Upon arrival we were were warmly welcomed and shown around the two villas where we would be staying, the property’s pool and cabana area and communicated all the things we would need to know about our stay. The villas were clean, stylish and comfortable with the necessities provided to ensure our stay was amazing. Amazing experience overall!

Amazing stay

We spent a week in this lovely spot. The caretakers keep the place immaculate. You will see bugs - you are in the jungle - but the fans and all the screens keep them to a minimum. We saw monkeys, huge iguanas, a sloth, macaws, and smaller parrots all from the deck. The pool area is amazing. Zvezda quickly responded to questions and made booking and staying a breeze.

Family vacaton

First time in costa rica. Found the property by chance on Travelocity. We were a family of 4 using the 2 houses Cacao and Ginger, which were exactly as in the pictures. The caretakers Klaudia & Adonis live onsite & are always ready to help with whatever you might need. There is a great bakery in town just 5 minutes away. Make sure you do the white water rafting, an incredible adventure. The pool was very refreshing. Sitting on the porch in the evening you could hear all sorts of wild life. We saw the biggest iguana on the property, I've ever seen, a huge yellow guy in a tree. Absolutely amazing. Howler monkey right outside the window as well. If you are looking for a jungle/beach pleace to stay, stop looking this is your place.

Jungle and ocean views, muy Bonita!

The location is fantastic and is walkable to the beach and some restaurants. It is a difficult walk up the hill to the villa, but who doesn’t need cardio! 4 wheel drive truck recommended. Also bring your own pillows as the ones at the villa are not very comfortable. There is no air conditioning. It does get hot but the views are worth the sometimes discomfort. Adonis and Claudia are fantastic! Can’t wait to go back again!! Thanks Zvezda!!!!

Punta Uva Escape

We rented both houses for a family of 4. More space then we needed but we enjoyed having multiple rooms/beds. The view from the top house was amazing and we spent several hours on the porch watching wildlife and the tropical rain come down. The pool was a welcome refresher after exploring the area all day on bikes then walking back to the property up the big hill. It was a workout but felt great:) The owner and caretakers were great. They were we friendly and responsive. They even arranged for a taxi to come us up. We had a great time! Thank you:)
