Our stay at Estrella Mar Villa was absolutely amazing. The villa itself is stunning with incredible views, but what truly made the experience unforgettable was the staff.Oscar, Paco, Arturo, Tacho, and Lola were beyond attentive—always making sure we had everything we needed, often before we even thought to ask. The food and drinks they prepared were absolutely amazing, and every meal felt like a special experience. From keeping everything running smoothly to making us feel completely at ease, they went above and beyond every single day.

There is not enough words to describe how wonderful this stay was. A group of 10 of us came to celebrate a friends milestone birthday and we were treated like royalty. The villa is even more beautiful in person if you can imagine. The beds were comfortable and there was so much variations in areas to hang out in. The staff though is what truly makes this place so special. Everyone was so very kind and attentive. You can tell they enjoy what they do and they want to ensure you love your stay. The cherry on this fabulous vacation was the food. Hats off to the chef for some incredible Vallarta style meals. We will never stop talking about that stuffed pepper. Then the key lime pie! We could go on and on. If you’re seeing this villa and review, stop what you’re doing and book it now. You will be thankful you did. That you again to the staff. We will always remember your kindness.

Incredible trip! This estate and team are the best!

Villa Estrella will go down as one of the best trips ever! From the coordination and communication with Jordan from the very beginning, all the way to the incredible team on site, everything was perfect. The house was impeccable, the food was delicious. No request went unmet. Our friends truly had the best trip ever. It was so special. Paco, Jordan, and the entire team, chefs and everyone were so kind and wonderful. We felt like royalty. Thank you!

Better than an all inclusive hotel

Extremely grateful to have my 40th birthday here. All the staff was absolutely wonderful. Jordan was very easy to communicate with. No need to stay at all inclusive hotel. The personalized service and the attentiveness of the staff was better than any resort you would find in Puerto Vallarta. Would 100% recommend staying here

An Awesome Experience!

I celebrated my 60th Birthday here with my partner and 14 other friends. The entire experience was awesome and began with a welcome margarita when we arrived at the front door. The house and grounds are spectacular; they’re well maintained and very clean. We spent most of our time at the pool and Paco, the house mgr, and his team couldn’t have been more attentive, friendly and personable. The meals were delicious and consideration was given to those with food allergies. This team has it all nailed down to ensure an overall excellent experience. Disappointments? I had none, nor did my guests. I highly recommend Villa Estrella Mar.

beyond our expectations. complete in location, staff, service overall, food, and the attitude.we can

magnificent. the accommodations to us were much, much more than the videos we saw and the photos sent to us. Each room, entry hall, outdoors halls and sitting areas had beautiful plantings and works of art. The house is listed as 22,000 square feet, but because the outside is so much a part of the inside the square footage feels huge, giant, immense. A Mexican Mansion on the pacific. You can't judge this property based on anything less than seeing for yourself. However, without the staff and their attitude to make your stay absolutely the best the villa would be just another large house. Paco, Oscar, Lola, and all the rest of the staff could not have performed any better than a 5 star hotel, restaurant, resort, but it was a home and that is the difference. Within hours we were part of their family and they part of ours. Aside from losing a day in the beginning of our stay do to Frontier not alerting us our flight was cancelled our family started arriving a day later. Once, however, when we did arrived it was one of the most outstanding trips with the family we have ever had.

We Celebrated my Husband's 50th Birthday with our 12 Best Friends...everyone had their own rooms and their own private bathrooms too!! This house was truly magical in all aspects!! We felt like we were all living a dream being in the house and being treated like Kings and Queens by the Staff. The Staff were all super attentive and the food was out of this world delicious!! Also, Jordan the Host was extremely helpful setting up the house reservation and all the details that we needed for the BEST trip of our lives in PV!!!

Summer vacation

This house is incredible. It has all the modern amenities that us gringos like, like WIFI, ceiling fans every where, iPads to control Spotify music in the whole house, individual super efficient AC units in each bedroom, yet at the same time it is built and decorated with that old Mexican Hacienda feel to it. However what really makes this place, is the staff. All of them are very friendly, attentive and very polite and engaging. There is a lot of staff around but you barely see them. When you get up, coffee is ready and they are making breakfast. While you eat, they go and clean the rooms and make the beds. When you are eating dinner in town or downstairs, they go up and clean rooms again and close all the shutters and turn A/C on for you to sleep comfortable. It is very humid in summer in Vallarta. They will make you any drink you like. They will go shop for groceries for you, always with a smile. They will call you cabs and make reservations for you, or get you an airport shuttle. Anything you need.

Just book this home. It’s incredible.

This home is by far one of the most amazing we have stayed at. It is perfect for large groups of couples or families with incredible rooms with en suite baths. The entertaining spaces are perfect, and the views are fantastic.

Fantastic staff and a beautiful property.

We spent four days at Villa Estrella Mar for our wedding with our children, grandchildren and siblings attending. This property is an amazing and beautiful place but the most outstanding thing about staying here is the staff and how well they take care of everyone. Paco, G, Humberto, chef Lupe and the rest of the staff are amazing. The meals they created were fabulous. They are very flexible and go out of their way to do whatever is needed to keep all the guests happy. Also, prior to our stay there, Jorden the property manager was very responsive and very helpful in helping us make all sorts of arrangements for our wedding as well as renting baby gear for the grandchildren etc. During our stay the waves crashing on the rocks were loud for sleeping but the staff is aware of that and there are disposable ear plugs in the bedside stands. The place is spotlessly clean with cleaning staff taking care of every room daily. I would highly recommend Villa Estrella Mar to anyone or any group considering a visit to Puerto Vallarta.

A Property That All Your Guests Will Remember!

We loved Villa Estrella Mar! The floorpan cannot be beat. The location is perfect, just close enough to the action yet private at the same time. Only things to keep in mind are additional costs while on property and arranging staff as you need. We would definitely stay again and know several of our guests hope to return some day.

What an amazing experience!!

I highly recommend this villa to all! From the moment I became in contact with Jordan she was the most organized and helpful person when booking the house. She helped answer all my questions so when I arrived I knew what to expect. The house itself doesn’t need much explanation as you can see from the pictures of how beautiful it is. What made the trip was the staff. The meals they cooked were delicious and they helped us out with everything from cabs to buying more beverages for the group. Can’t say enough about how good my experience was and would recommend to anyone looking to go to puerto Vallarta.

Villa Estrella Mar hit it out of the park.

What can I possibly say to summarize our experience at Estrella Mar that could convey how amazing it was? The location was perfect. The staff was phenomenal. The villa has more to offer than we ever expected. What a perfect trip for our large group. From the moment we first walked onto the veranda during sunset to the last person on the taxi back to the airport, Paco and company were there to help with everything but not in a bothersome way. They perfectly balance being present to run this amazing facility but not intrusive so that you feel like it is just your group. This is a very open classic villa floor plan with many stairs and open windows. Most days there is a breeze that would flow thru most rooms and at night they would close up the rooms and turn on the AC units and the rooms were very comfortable quickly. The walk to old town is super simple along the beach from the locked gates. The semi-private beach gets a few people during the heat of the day but there was always room for us. In the water there was lots of fish, sting rays, and jelly fish and a few of our group had stings, but these were not very painful and within an hour they were gone. A few of the beds were a little more rigid than our group was used to. A few people got no-see-um bites near their ankles and for the life of us we could never find out where they came from. We did see a couple mosquitoes but these were fairly rare, but about half of our group said they got a bite at one time or another. So whether you just want to sit in a chair and spend the day reading a book and listening to the surf or want to have a pool party with some music, Villa Estrella Mar has it covered. We made some great memories that will be with us a long time.

Extraordinary house, extraordinary staff, and an extraordinary experience!

16 of us just spent a week at Estrella Mar and had an incredible time. The food was fantastic. I cannot believe the selectaion and quality of food that Lola and Lupe were able to deliver. We gave them a standing ovation every night. Order the fish with potatoes for one of your dinners, as well as the Conchinita Pibil - you won’t be disappointed. We ate at several nice restaurants - La Palapa, etc..., and the food at our house was on par or better than any restaurant that we visited. Plus, the 16 of us would spend the evening around the dinner table and enjoy the view and sunset from our own home. The staff was friendly and more than willing to help. They helped us with everything from arranging airport transportation to setting up a birthday surprise party. Paco will be your lifeline. He will give you advice on what to do, recommendations for places to go, and logistical suggestions on how to get there. The house - there are very few houses that could compare to Estrella Mar. it is so big that it will take you a few days to find all of the rooms. It is enormous and authentically decorated. It is like you have moved into an art and sculpture gallery for a week. The staff keep the house perfectly clean, which is a feat given its size. The whole house opens up so you can see the view, which is simply breathtaking from every balcony, the living room and the dining room. The only challenge we had was because the house opens up so much, that if there is a heat wave the air conditioners cannot keep up. Our stay had an unusual level of high heat and humidity, but if you take a cool shower before bed you will be fine. The location could not have been better, it felt secluded, yet if you walk 150 yards you will be at the beach clubs (but you cannot hear them or anything else). In short, we cannot recommend Estrella Mar, the incredible staff, and the very response owner highly enough. If you are on the fence, BOOK IT AS FAST AS YOU CAN!

Beauty, service and luxury far beyond all expectations.

Just returned home from an unforgettable experience at Villa Estrella Mar. The Villa far surpassed all of our expectations. 18 of our friends stayed at the villa with ample room for all families. The staff was exceptional. They tended to our every need with friendliness and professionalism. You can tell they love their jobs and want to provide the best experience for their guests. The luxury of the Villa is unsurpassed. The photos truly cannot do it justice. We couldn't have been happier with our choice. We were sad to leave, but we are already planning our return next year! Book your stay! You won't regret the choice.

Mastermind retreat went really well

Our mastermind retreat went really well. The Villa is just stunning, no other way to put it. The staff are exceptional, Paco, Giovani, Lupe all of them are top notch professionals and great people. The old town Puerto Vallarta is great with some excellent restaurants and small shops. Fresh guac was to die for, margaritas were delicious and the views will punch you in the gut and take your breath away :) I would recommend this place for business retreats and family vacations, although not sure about bringing small children. Also, July is very hot and humid, so keep that in mind. The rooms are very comfortable at night with the AC, but during the day you need to be at the beach or by the pool often enough to keep cool.

Trip of a lifetime!

I can’t say enough about our incredible experience at the Villa Estrella Mar. I’ll start by saying that I have never written a review, and felt obligated to share my experience with other travelers. We visited Puerto Vallarta with a group of 20 close friends. From the house, location, service, and overall experience it was above and beyond all expectations. The house had several large living areas to support the entire group, along with enough bedrooms to comfortably sleep everyone. Every room was spectacular (pictures don’t do them justice). Beyond the beautiful house, we were joined by a staff that supported us for the entire trip. The staff was incredibly helpful in booking transportation, providing recommendations, and made the trip as amazing as it was. They took care of all food and drinks for the entire trip at a very reasonable cost, and presented receipts at the end. Every meal was world class, from the lobster and steak to the quesadillas. A special thanks to Paco, Geo, and the rest of the staff for their incredible support, and for making this a trip of a lifetime. We will definitely be back, and look forward to seeing you soon.

Amazing!!!

Three families shared this home for Spring Break 2016 and had a truly wonderful visit. The property is spectacular and the staff amazing -- completely spoiled us -- extremely attentive, professional, friendly -- any request was immediately responded to (even running out for churros as a last minute request during dinner:). Could not have asked for a better vacation!!!
