The location was great. The unit on the whole was very nice. The kitchen had anything one would need, if you wanted to cook. We only used the glases. The host left a bottle of wine which was very nice.

Loved PV..disappointed with condo :(

The most appealing aspect of our vacation condo was the location to Old Town PV, Malcon, Zona Romanatica and incredible vegan restaurants. The condo is in dire need of refresh and update regarding sheets, pillows, towels etc. The website states that a bbq, stereo of which there was not any upon arrival. Rosa and Jorge were most welcoming upon arrival and with any assistant during our stay.

Beautiful place / Property.

Manager and owner were extremely accommodating with check in / check out needs. Grocery store and shops right around the corner. Patio views were incredible. Would recommend.

Great spot with stellar location

We loved our stay. Couldn’t keep track of how many balconies there were! Cute neighborhood that was a great blend of being convenient and not entirely touristy. Beach was a bit rocky and the pool was excellent! Great shallow section perfect for toddlers :)

2nd Time, Just As Good As We Remembered

Everything about this location is perfect! From the ocean views to the city views, a few blocks from the Malecon and amazing food around every corner! The staff are super helpful and friendly. My parents and wife stayed in this very unit for spring break 2022, and this year we brought them back for spring break 2025 with my sister-in-law, niece and our 3 teenage boys. It is a perfect space for our size of family. I couldn't recommend it hire if you can.

Perfect locstion

We loved our stay. Staff were great. We would definitely recommend the property I would rate our stay as 5 but The unit is a little dated and the stairs to the penthouse bedroom are a bit treacherous and are not suitable for small children .

We have stayed in Puerta Al Mar 3 times in 3 different units based on availability in the past 10 years. We love Puerto Vallarta. Rosa (receptionist/maid) and Don Jorge (maintenance) are amazing people. Thank you for all you do and your help.

The perfect location!

The location of this property couldn't get any better. We were there for New Years Eve and went up to the penthouse deck to watch the fireworks that were on both sides of us. It was the best display of fireworks I have ever seen. We walked everywhere from this property and never missed not having a rental car. The weather was great and the beach was lovely. We all had a great time.

This property is perfectly located off the beach, the Malecon and easy to get to everything you want. We very much enjoyed the condo between the space, decor, the comfort and how helpful everyone was. You will not be disappointed!

Just what we needed!

This property is just as described. Every room had it's own bathroom which was wonderful. It's worth noting that the upstairs bedroom has a spiral staircase and no door (still felt private). However, it does have it's own balcony with the best view of the coast. I mention it in case you have difficulty navigating stairs. The downstairs balcony was a lovely spot for us to sit and have a drink while enjoying the view. The pool was easily accessible and we didn't often have to share it with anyone else. Access to the beach was through a gate next to the pool, and we did have them set up lounge chairs for us one day so we could enjoy the ocean. There are plenty of options for eating nearby. Our favorite breakfast place was Calmate cafe, don't miss it. Pollo Feliz was an easy inexpensive spot for a quick lunch. Getting to the Malecon was an easy walk through shop lined streets. A quick uber to the Zona Romantica was also hassle free and not expensive. I highly recommend this condo. The staff was wonderful and accommodating. The property manager was easy to communicate with on vrbo and everything went smoothly.

Enjoyed our stay

While you won't be overwhelmed by the accommodations, the stay was most enjoyable. It's nice to have two bedrooms facing the ocean. However, access to the upper room is via a steep, winding staircase with no railing. The toilet has strange cramped positioning, and shower handle falls off. The best part of the stay is the great service provided by Rosa and Jorge. Rosa and her mom prepared dinner our first night and the Mexican plate and flan were outstanding. You pay the owner for dinner and the price was pretty steep, so you can only hope that Rosa is paid her fair share. We recommend arranging airport transfer via the yellow shirt taxi service. Again, the condo charges way more. The best part of our stay was the location and the ability to put chairs and umbrella directly on the beach. It was fun to be walking distance to the Malecon as we normally stay South of town. The pool is clean and warm. We also enjoyed the city and mountain views from the back windows.

Perfect for our needs on this trip

Worked out well for our 5 adult family with staggered lengths of stay. Great to be right on the beach—with lounge chair and umbrella setups in the sand; fairly quiet as not on a busy main street; staff helpful and flexible; easy walkability for a variety of restaurants; market very close by. Enjoyed the balconies for morning coffee before starting the day (and for spotting whales passing through the bay!!).

Moms 1st time out of the country

We set this up for our Moms birthday!!’ The location was perfect, and the Staff was great too!! Thank you all for making our stay safe, and happy. Don Jorge, had the beach chairs and umbrellas out when we asked Rosa. David always made sure we felt safe at night. We will be back! Thank you again!!
