This was the BEST most relaxing amazing vacation I have ever experienced! It truly is an oasis paradise. The rooms are beautiful and comfortable. The views are stunning. Ana and Miguel went above and beyond in every way. Her food is fantastic (ask for chili rellenos!!) I forgot shampoo and sunblock and she was happy to grab some for us while grocery shopping. I thought it was going to be awkward having staff for just us but they felt like old friends! Even their doggies, Coco and Bobo, felt like friends! We only left the property once during our 8-day stay (my husband wanted a tshirt from the beach vendor lol). The walk down to the beach was easy and scenic. It took about 15 minutes but I was slow and stopped to inspect the beautiful vegetation. We took a cab back up the hill. There are lots of stairs on the property so consider carefully if you have limited mobility. It was humpback whale season and we had the best viewing point from the pool loungers!! It is mexico so expect insects and lizards to be your companions :) Also ask if any kitchen pantry items are off-limits. I didnt and accidentally drank some of Ana’s soda lol We are already planning our next visit!! I would give 1000 stars if I could!

Magic in Mismaloya

Stunning views. Beautifully appointed, secure, extremely clean, and spacious. This property does not disappoint!Short walk to a vibrant beach front where we were treated like locals--low-key and not overcrowded. A perfect Mexican experience.Anna and Miguel (and Coco and Bobo) were the true stars of this trip! Meal planning and shopping was seamless and affordable. The food was EXCEPTIONAL and prepared with heart. No need to look elsewhere for meals...better than a restaurant and all food prepared in a pristine space with exceptional attention to cleanliness and food safety. Coco and Bobo stole our hearts and brought us unexpected joy. So well behaved and loving...the best!Cannot wait to return! Thank you for a wonderful trip!

What a place!

Great place, wonderful views, close to the beach and Anna and Miguel were better than advertised. The walk to the beach was an easy 10 min walk downhill, back up was a bit harder but if you wanted to grab a cab it was 5 and easy to pick one up. Plenty of things to do and nothing you need to figure out. If you want to have probably the most relaxing vacation possible this is the place.

Amazing cliffside villa

This was an outstanding vacation for us! The house is beautiful, the view unreal, and the location ideal for day trips in and around the PV area. Ana and Miguel are so lovely and accommodating and we're excited to go back!

Long overdue friends reunion

First of all, the villa is gorgeous and immaculate. The views are beyond incredible. Ana and Miguel were such incredibly wonderful hosts and the food they prepared was just so fantastic. Steve, the home owner, was also incredibly helpful and very responsive. This was such an incredible trip and staying at Villa Roca Loro was an incredible place to stay- the art, the architecture, the hospitality and Ana and Miguel, the food, the views, the balance of the house with the nature and environment...it was just incredible! See you again, soon, hopefully!! )

Ana and Miguel are superb - Villa is incredible

The house / Villa is amazing, incredible views and details throughout the property will make this an unforgettable vacation. Coco the house dog really makes this property a perfect 5 stars. We love dogs and when you miss yours at home you got a great replacement. Couldn't have asked for better service A+. Miguel connected us with some of his friends for a 2 days of fishing. The 1st day we just fished and it was so much fun 3 lines on numerous times throughout the day. The 2nd day we took a group of 10 to Los Arcos then to a quiet spot for snorkeling. We all really enjoyed the cove and saw just about every fish from Finding Nemo. On the way back we fished again....All the ladies caught fish (skip jacks, 1 rooster fish and a Mahi Mahi). Memories we'll never forgot. Yes Ana did cook up the fish and it was excellent. Thank you Ana, Miguel and Coco for making this a trip of lifetime. Honestly thank you from, Rich, Tori, Byron, Tyler, Justin, Muggie, Michelle and Mason

Stunning Villa

The villa was stunning and well maintained. The views were incredible. We loved spending our nights in the hot tub overlooking the beach. The architecture of the home was beautiful and loved all the natural rocks incorporated throughout the villa. The owner was very responsive.

Fabulous stay in Misomaloma

We can't give enough credit to the house staff, Miguel and Ana (and Coco 😉) for making this a great stay. The property is beautiful and secluded, with a great view of the Mismaloya beach. Visitors should know that it is not convenient to get in and out of due to the steep roads and distance from Puerto Vallarta. You CAN walk to the beach, but it's a tough walk in the heat. It will take around 30 min via cab to get to the Melćon boardwalk area. This is a great place if you want seclusion or a more authentic taste of the area, but not for convenience and pampering. My family loved it!

Nice, relaxing getaway

This home is stunningly beautiful with views for days. Make sure you have a good camera because golden hour against the architecture and natural landscape of this property is 👌 You will be leaving with glutes and quads of steel after going up and down those stairs for a few days but you’ll need the exercise after eating all of Ana’s delicious food. Highly recommend the fish and shrimp tacos. Steven is extremely responsive and Ana and Miguel were wonderful on-site. If you are bringing babies/toddlers you can rent gear from Baby Vallarta and it can be delivered to the house. We would absolutely stay here again!

Fabulous anniversary celebration

We got married at this villa 30 years ago. We were lucky to find it available to book and returned with our kids and friends for an anniversary trip. It was absolutely amazing! The villa and the grounds were fabulous and air conditioning had been added to the open air rooms. There was also the addition of Coco the golden retriever 💕 but the best was that Anna, the chef, was still there and wonderful as ever! The kids loved the experience as we all did. Anna and Miguel took fabulous care of us and gave us great recommendations for things to do in the area. Love this place and the kids are already planning a return next year!

Beautiful Villa with Fantastic Views

My wife and I have been married for over 43 years and have traveled quite a bit and this villa tops our experiences. The villa is beautiful. The views are fantastic with a private pool and an infinity pool. The onsite staff prepare excellent meals and help coordinate activities and taxis. If anything the host’s description of the villa is an undersell but it would be hard to describe the beauty of the place. Great vacation

Amazing views and comfort

While the photographs are amazing, Casa Rocaloro is even more impressive in person. Once you get a hang of the set up (three bedrooms that are self-contained suites for the most part) you’ll love this place. The views are truly amazing. And, most importantly, Miguel and Ana will make you feel extremely welcome and will set you up with picture perfect breakfasts and dinners. Really made a good experience into a fantastic one. Will come back.

Best stay ever!

If you’re thinking about booking this property, do it already. It was absolutely stunning. The views, the rooms, the pool/jacuzzi, Miguel & Ana, all amazing. It was so convenient to be able to have meals at the villa rather than going out each meal. It gave us a more relaxing vacation to not have to worry or rush down to town everytime we got hungry. The food was delicious as well. I loved waking up to such a stunning view overlooking the beach each day. It was honestly hard to leave the villa and we hung out here more than any hotel I’ve ever spent time at. Why leave when you already have it all? A few things to note that didn’t bother us but could be helpful: there weren’t curtains, I recommend a sleep mask if you’re wanting to sleep in. Lack of water pressure in the showers, and it took a long time to get warm water to shower. Again, these small things didn’t take away from our stay. It’s about a 10-15 minute walk to the main road in Mismaloya from the villa. Going down is easy, coming back up is a nice little workout. I loved getting the exercise but just a warning for those visiting without a car. We could walk this faster than waiting around for an Uber. 10/10 and I would definitely come back to stay here again. We’ve already pitched this as a group vacation in the future!

Great Villa in Mismaloya

Our family stayed for five nights at the villa and had a great overall experience. The villa is spacious, clean and beautiful. The views of the ocean are amazing. The mother/son team of Ana and Miguel were wonderful. Ana's food is delicious and Miguel was always helpful. If you are considering a visit to the area, this villa is definitely worth a look.

Perfect getaway

This house was amazing! Ana and Miguel were wonderful, and all of our meals were delicious. We spent the days at Mismoloya Beach, which was a short walk from the house. The rooms were all separated and spacious, and our only suggestion would be that the owner add curtains for extra privacy. The hot tub overlooks the ocean, and the two upper rooms had beautiful views of the ocean as well. We would recommend this property to anyone looking for a relaxing vacation!
