I had the perfect stay. At first I thought it might have been too much space for 1 person, but it was the best. The place is fully equipped with everything anyone could need. The beach chairs and a ton of other beach items, and the bikes--amazing! Not to mention the jar of ear plugs in the medicine cabinet. I didn't need to use any, but someone else who's a light sleeper might. Overall, the location is beyond ideal! I popped down to the beach multiple times a day! For larger groups staying, sharing a bathroom may be a challenge, but there is an outdoor shower on the patio. And of course the beach. I highly recommend the accommodations; and Lo De Marcos is so low key and the beach so gorgeous, it may be one of the best spots in Mexico...

The casita was well-equipped, and we especially appreciated having access to a beach umbrella, boogie boards, and balls. Being just minutes from the beach was fantastic! Jennifer was very easy to communicate with and kindly allowed us to check in early. It’s a lively area with plenty of activity right outside the door, which we enjoyed — but if you're looking for peace and quiet, this may not be the place. We had the most wonderful week there and would love to do it again.

So close to the beach!

Had a great stay here. One block to the beach, made it very easy to go back and forth for lunch. Instructions were very easy and the host was very responsive when we had an issue with the front door lock, it was fixed within an hour. We would stay here again, however we might come earlier next year to catch a bit less heat. Thanks Jennifer!!

Amazing Location

The location was great! So close to the beach!The restaurants and food were amazing! The beach chairs and umbrella that came with the unit was great! Used them everyday! Would definitely book again! The only negative thing was the church bellsringing at 6:30 am on Sunday. And the basketball court out front can get loud! But it would eventually quiet down!

Perfect location for our stay!

I was looking for the best place to stay without spending very much money and this may be it! The listing matched the description and the reviews. Jennifer and her Housekeeper Annie were great communicators. 1 block from the beach, across the street from my favorite LDM coffee and crepes, not to mention Pepe and Alex’s tacos!

Excellently located from beach

The unit provides all you could want for fun with the family entertainment- only downside is the noise from basketball court right outside the door and church bells start very early Sunday! Otherwise 👍

I didn’t want to leave!

Everything about this rental was wonderful. It was comfortable, clean, and located very conveniently near the beach and everything else. The location was safe and the house completely secure. And there was a great place to park our vehicle right outside the door - a bonus. The house itself had everything we needed for a great vacation which, in our case, included cooking, relaxing, outdoor activities, beachtime, movienights, and sleeping. We live in Mexico and so are familiar with vacation rentals here and I can tell you that the bed linens are usually terrible and uncomfortably hot (which is a big negative as we all spend about half our lives in bed). So it is worth noting that this was not the case at Casita Estrellas! We were delighted at the plentiful pillows and cushions, and high quality bed linens and towels (particularly the comfy cool bedding). And then there was the service… the property management & housekeeping service by Ani and her team went beyond expectations in terms of friendliness, helpfulness and response time. Example: I needed a medical specialist for an injury and Ani was able to quickly refer me to what turned out to be the best osteo doctor in Nayarit. Ani’s response time, no matter how trivial the matter, was fast and helpful. Ditto for the owner Jennifer who was very friendly and extremely helpful as well. I could sit and write a long list of all the things I loved about our stay at Casita Estrellas but I don’t really need to because I can sum it up in one word… “fabulous!” I would love to return and very highly recommended Casita Estrellas. Muchísimas gracias Jennifer & Ani!!!

A great place to stay!

I loved this location! So close to the beach, swimming, surfing, and sunsets, but also within walking distance of any shops and restaurants in town. ALL the systems worked perfectly,-electricity, internet, fans, plumbing, hot water, stove, movie screen. Plus the amenities were great- bicycles, snorkeling gear, stand up paddleboard, beach towels, beach bag, etc. I would stay here again in a minute, already dreaming of travel for next year!

Great location in Lo De Marcos.

Clean and well kept house, steps to the beach and restaurants. The owner was fantastic to deal with and very prompt in responding to any questions. Cute, quiet town. We'll be back.

Lo De Marcos

We had a beautiful stay in Lo De Marcos at Jennifer Pako's casita which is only a three minute walk to the beach. All necessary amenities in the casita are available and anything else is nearby such as grocery stores, fish market, bakeries, and restaurants. We loved this little town and we will be back again. Thank you Jennifer.

The property was exactly as shown. Jennifer was very attentive and always there if needed.

Lo De marcos was awesome. Everything was close and convenient. Food at local establishments was delicious. Barbeques at home were great as local meat and fish markets had lots ready and available. Always fresh fruit and veggies to purchase at local markets and daily trucks. 200 steps from front door of casita to the beach. Ani was very pleasant & thorough on cleaning days. Beds are comfy, casita is spacious. Beach chairs & umbrella very handy! Bikes and cart to tow along were great for grocery day! Buses and cabs were easy to catch if wanting to explore outside of town. Casita Estrella is a gem! Looking to book again next year.

Awesome property and location!

I had a wonderful time. The home is as advertised. It's really just 100 meters to the beach, not a block. You can hear the surf with the windows open. The people of Lo De Marcos are really helpful and always ready to smile. Jennifer, the owner is super!! She will go out of her way to make sure you have enough knowledge to make your stay stress free. It's such a nice village I've decided to retire there and already leased a home. Come visit, you'll be happy you did. Thanks Jennifer!!!

Amazing

Wow...... What we experienced here in Lo De Marcos is quite frankly indescribable. The casita and Jennifer’s attention concerning our comfort and needs went above and beyond what we could’ve imagined. My girlfriend and I highly recommend this accommodation for a wonderful visit to Lo De Marcos.
