Perfect Old Town Location

The condo is absolutely beautiful and well appointed. The bed was very comfortable. The view was mediocre...just rooftops and other buildings. The location is the winner here. Everything is very walkable. The description of "No Hills" is slightly exaggerated. Stairs and railings made the last 100 feet or so manageable but it's definitely not flat.

You will not be disappointed staying here. The apartment is accurately depicted in the photos. Spacious , comfortable and has everything you need. Located in a quiet building close to restaurants and nightlife yet far enough away. If you are looking for sweeping ocean views then this is not the place but in every other way it surpasses expectations.

quite perfect

Beautiful, very big place. Everything as advertised in the listing. We cook a lot more than most travelers and it was well equipped to do so, unlike a lot of vacation rentals. Great communication. Well-run building. Loved the location, just enough set back from the noise/crowds of Badillo and Olas Altas and the beach, but close enough to be there quickly. Extremely convenient for many errands and so close to the bus line to the nice beach towns to the south.

Great place to stay in Romantic zone

Spent 21 nights here over Xmas with my girlfriend and my 75 year old mother .Location worked out well for all of us with so many dining choices,spa services and shopping so close by.Pool area was a nice quiet spot to hang out and relax if you needed a break from the hustle and bustle.The condo was as advertised and did not disappoint any of us.It was clean,kitchen was fully equipped and the whole place was tastefully decorated.Correspondence with the owner was good .We accidentally broke a vase which I informed the owner of and we’re not charged for it at the time of me writing this review.I would recommend staying here!

Great Location! Great Condo! Great Stay!

I have never been more impressed with the quality and maintenance of the residence and the complex itself. First, it is truly in the heart of the Romantic Zone and has very little incline to get there. Everything is within walking distance or a short Uber/Cab ride. The residence itself is very well equipped. It goes beyond the "full kitchen" term! The owners are very nice and respond quickly. The condo is very large and airy making it comfortable for everyone. The pictures do not do the residence justice. You will enjoy your stay!

Home away from home

Totally enjoyed my stay!!

This was a lovely, spacious condo, which is very well taken care of. The location is fantastic. You can find anything you may be looking for within a short walking distance. The owners were always available and helpful when I had any questions. Everyone working at the condo are extremely polite and helpful. I very much enjoyed my two month stay.

Still perfect location and amenities (repeat renter)

We stayed at this property in 2018 and decided to return. Since our last stay the owner has made some improvements to furnishings and fixtures where needed. What thankfully had not changed are Myra the night security guard and Herminia the housekeeper. Both of them work very hard, always greet you with a big smile, and are caring, helpful people.

Home away from home

Perfect location, perfect place for a small group to stay

We have been to Puerto Vallarta many times and this place is by far the best place we have stayed in the Puerto Vallarta romantic zone! First the hosts were very easy to communicate with and have a hands on approach sending someone to check in on us when we got there and quickly answering any texts or emails questions that came up during the stay. The location is perfect and as described, right in the heart of the romantic zone. A quick walk down the small hill to one of the main streets brings you to a host of restaurants, bars, clubs & shops. It is about a 15 minute walk from the gay beaches and even less time for the rest of the beaches. As for the hill it is not that much of a climb, we have climbed much worse. If you have trouble walking it will be the cobblestone streets in town that you will need to be careful of. The unit was as described, large and spacious and perfect for two couples and maybe a tagalong. I think you could make the little TV room nook into a non-private sleeping area if you travel with a larger group. The kitchen was well stocked with the basic spices and stuff for cooking or heating up meals. Under normal circumstances we don't come to this city to cook but during our trip the city shut down at 8:30 due to COVID-19, this was the perfect place to stay when our nights ended around 8:30. Now for the only downsides. The balcony is great to hang out on at night but mosquitos love it just as much as we do! This is a residential building and you can hear life go on above, so I assume those below us heard us too. The pool closes at 10 which is also typical for places like this. In conclusion this is not the place to have large noisy groups or late night parties, but also under normal circumstances the loud noisy party and good times on the warm Mexican nights would be out on the streets and on the Malecon where the people watching and street food never end. We hope to be able to come back here and stay again in the future. For those who might want to travel during this pandemic and are worried you might end up spending a lot of time at your vacation rental, this is a great place to choose.

A bright, luxurious and we'll appointed property with all the bells and whistles for a comfortable and relaxing stay. Great neighborhood for all the activity but a hike to the beach. ...short and cheap cab ride. Highly recommended.

Perfect Balance!

Condo 202 Copa De Oro is a HUGE two bedroom with 2 king beds and a big living, kitchen, and dining room. The unit is modern and well equipped. Booking could not have been easier, the owner Joe is friendly and personable and made sure we were comfortable. The location is 2-3 blocks from everything, but far enough away to avoid the nightlife noise. Nearly flat walking that made it easy for this 60 year old. Big balcony with a city view. You cannot go wrong by booking 202.
