Every stay at a VRBO has begun with the owner or manager greeting us in the lobby. This makes for a smooth entry and a tour of the internet and tv, but most important—the entry to the unit. Here, We were texted/whatsaped the code. The wrong code. With no internet I could not call but a kind Canadian lady took me up to the threshold to her unit and connected me so I could call the manager. Oops, not 1127, 2711 she said(fictional here). Then inside I found that the second bedroom was really a large closet with no window, and no balcony of course. The bed was like sleeping on a park bench with a sheet over it. Had to buy a foam pad at Walmart for both beds ($50). While at Walmart, I bought some Icecream bars but the freezer wasn’t cold enough to keep them frozen. So when I opened the package, cream oozed out with chunks of chocolate. Then on the third day, the safe malfunctioned. It was fixed the day after I called. Lucky it wasn’t the day of departure. Love the Grand Venetian. This place? Meh.

Nice clean condo and unpleasant sound.

Grand Venetian is a great complex and I stayed at tower 3000. The unit was very clean, it comes with sufficient household items to make the trip enjoyable. Pro -Security of the complex is top notch -Easy access to Taxi service. -Easy access to beach -Relax pool side rules where you can bring your own drinks/food -Good view of ocean. Con -Noisy. There is a night club (chicabel sunset club) on the beach and they play music very loud till late beyond their official operating hours. Things to consider -I guess previous guests took many need items and I end up purchasing laundry detergent, paper towers, batteries, garbage bags etc. The owner assure me that the next guests would not face the same problems. -The night club makes very loud noice. I would not recommend for guests with young kids or one with sensitive ears. I had a few friends staying at tower 3000 and they all complained about the noice. It seems tower 1000 or 2000 is a better location for guests with young kids / sensitive ears. -There is no exercise room at tower 3000. One needs walk over to tower 1000.

Absolutely beautiful property!! We loved this location and the host and property manager were so easy to get ahold of to ask any questions we had and they responded very quickly! We come out to PV a lot to skydive and I can definitely say we will always check availability of this place before looking anywhere else! We loved it here and you will too!!!

Tower 3 Grand Venetian

We loved our stay in this unit. The grounds are beautiful, so many warm pools. Unfortunately a bar is being built next door nearer Peninsula. Hopefully it will not be too loud.

Amazing apartment.

The apartment is very modern and clean, it has amazing views and a great location, the pools and pool areas are really well kept. The only thing misssing was shampoos and toiletries, also no dishwasher liquid or washing up liquids.

Great Grand Venetian Vacation

Thank you Hannan and Crisol (our contact at the resort) for a great stay! We loved the view and the resort area (5 pools) overall. After 16 days we decided to stay another week but due to scheduling we could only stay one additional night at the condo, then moved to Costa Sur for the rest of our time. We loved the decor, the showers/bathrooms/kitchen were fantastic as well the grounds were impeccable. We would love to come back next year and look forward to staying again. George & Julie

I recommend this property

My wife and I spent two weeks in this apartment in Jan - Feb 2018. In terms of looks and functionality it scored high marks. Condominium staff were unfailingly friendly and helpful, as were Nestor and Crisol, in our necessarily limited contacts with them. So, what's not to like? Too many speed bumps in the road from the gate-house to the Grand Venetian Towers. 4.5 out of 5. Milton, Toronto

Would NOT rent again!

My husband rented this unit for us and our 4 kids for a 3 night stay. Upon entering the unit there was a very pungent fishy odor. We thought maybe the previous renters had cooked fish and the smell would dissipate shortly. Not the case! The smell never got better and was so bad we tried to leave and book rooms at a hotel but everything was booked over the holidays. Crisol, who was our contact, felt very bad and did bring a maintenance man up to try and fix the problem to no avail. She then suggested we go buy vinegar and boil it to try to remedy the smell. Really?? Other issues we had - the master bed is so hard it’s like sleeping on a concrete slab. I slept on the couch for 2 nights because the bed was unbearable. We asked about getting a mattress topper or egg crate foam to help but nothing was done. The master bath toilet seat broke off and the kitchen was not well-stocked - there were no microwaveable bowls, no measuring cups or spoons, nothing to wash dishes with. The washing machine broke and wouldn’t drain the water so I had to hand wring our clothes out and put in dryer. To top this all off, we woke up every morning at 6am to Mexican music blasting from the alley next to our building. Apparently the security guards who had just gotten off work were partying after their shifts. We were very disappointed with our stay. We sucked it up because we had no other options but would not rent this place again. It was also decorated very cheaply and the pictures are misleading. The quality of the furniture and everything else in this unit is IKEA at best. We never heard from Hanna, the owner, about all of the issues.

Wonderful location

This condo is beautiful and is well-appointed with everything you need. The views of the ocean are breath-taking and the neighborhood around this location is mixed with locals and visitors and very safe. The owner was great with all pre-vacation communication. The location is within walking distance to great restaurants and nightlife and has a nice bar, pools and fitness center. I would highly recommend this condo and the owner and expect to stay here again very soon!
