Awesome condo

Loved the condo. Well equipped. Lots of room for 6 people. Easy access. Good wifi. Shampoo and conditioner as well as hair dryer provided an added bonus! Definitely a five out of five experience!

Another great stay at ICON

We've stayed at ICON every year since it was built. We've stayed in all 3 towers and in every unit type - from 1br to 2 story penthouse. The 2br plus den is our favorite layout, because you get great ocean (front) and city / cruise ship (back) views. We usually travel to PV as a family, but this trip was just my wife and me. We didn't need all the space, but chose this unit because of the views and the price wasn't that much more than a 1br. Very clean, furnishings are great and property management was very responsive. Will return.

The perfect get away

The condo is great. Wonderful views on the ocean and the sunset. The check in process was incredibly easy- a pleasant surprise compared to other resort in PVR. The pool beach area is great you can tell there are lots of old friends there but they are welcoming to “visitors “ like us. Close to the grocery store and lots of great restaurants. Only issue no place to store your luggage once you check out but we were able to find a solution to that and spend a little more time by the pool on our last day. 5 stars all around

Breathtaking Views

This Icon unit has the most beautiful views of the bay and downtown, wow! And although it is nice on the inside, it is in need of more frequent deep cleanings- there was lots of dust everywhere and it didn’t leave a good feeling. As mentioned in past reviews, it just needs a little love to refresh the place- new towels, pillows and some upgrading the kitchen tools. Karla was great to work with and very communicative during our stay! PV is the best!

Beautiful!

We enjoyed our stay at this beautiful beachfront property. The views are stunning & the place was perfect for us. Icon is a gorgeous property! The beach bar has a good menu. The staff goes out of their way to help you. Both the owner & property manager offered easy communication and were always friendly & prompt when responding. Beautiful place!

Exactly as advertised. Pictures posted on vrbo are exactly what you get when you show up. Owner and staff were very accommodating. The view is stunning. We would recommend this condo to all and will hopefully return soon.

You read the description and see photos and you get excited and when you get there it's not as it says. The furniture is old and worn out. The dinning room chairs backs are broken at the bottom of the seat backs. The towels are old and the bed sheets and pillow case had holes. The pool towels that said there was embroidered with the unit number were not there along with the pool bags. The views are great this unit not so. The other nice thing about the Icon is the staff at the breakfast are nice and the concierge at that tower that this unit is in was friendly and helpful. If the owners would do a little upgrading and take care of the some of the issues it would be a great place.

Spectacular views, great property

We spent a short week, just 2 of us, in this property with amazing views. It was big for just us, but that just made it feel more luxurious. The wall of windows that opens up to mountain and ocean views can't be beat. The building has quite a few rules, but nothing crazy if you're going for a relaxing vacation. The handbook is helpful, the unit has everything you need in it, and the staff members are wonderful. Convenience store and large grocery/everything store are a quick walk around the corner.

Great property & location

The condo is in a beautiful condo complex, and the location was perfect. Karla was easy to communicate with and her response times were prompt. The concierge and service staff were great. The condo needs some attention as far as updating broken or old furniture, worn out towels & linens, and kitchen cookware and utensils. You have to put money onto an Icon card to use at pool/beach bar and restaurant and must use it or lose it when leaving. Another issue is it is difficult to have friends visit due to property occupant only requirements so keep that in mind if traveling with others. We would definitely stay here again, and work with Karla and this host as well. They were delightful.

Great, for a more private stay

This is the second time I've stayed at the Icon. You stay here for the amazing rooms, private beach, and pool. If you want really good attentive service for food and drinks then you're better off at a resort or hotel. A single drink on the beach on average will take +30 minutes to receive. There isn't a "real" restaurant either, just some buffet-style meals for breakfast and lunch and a little menu at the beach bar, not sure about the price since we never ordered them. The beach bar is nice, but the service was not great. You can stand there for 15 minutes before someone helps you even though there are no other customers. It was very frustrating at times almost like they ignore you. You need to transfer money to an Icon card to purchase anything, which is a bit annoying, especially since you can't get any money back you don't spend. We just gave our card with our balance to another guest to use when we left. Like I said, you don't stay here for the service. One thing we noticed this trip around was a new bar nearby that played LOUD music until 3 AM almost every night. We were on floor 24 and it still rattled my bed. It was so loud for so long. It was very unfortunate. I'm not sure how the full-time residents deal with it. Our room was amazing. It was clean and had a washing machine, which we took full advantage of. It's definitely a slower-paced, private stay and we enjoyed that. Things we loved: • The private secluded beach is amazing. Unlike other resorts, there is always a beach chair available. No one is going down at 6 AM and reserving every chair there is. The waves are nice and calm and a private swimming area is designated in the ocean. • The pools are great and never too crowded. • Taxis are super easy and cheap to get. The front desk is very helpful with that. • Security feels nice, need a wristband to get in and gated entrance. Staff is everywhere • Every night the views are breathtaking. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay. We knew what to expect this time around and kind of had the lay of the land down. I think next time I want to stay closer to town, with more in walking distance.

Beautiful Condo!

Awesome stay here. We spent the first half of our vacation downtown then moved here. This is so, so much better. The view is spectacular. The condo is very well decorated, comfortable and has a great breeze blowing through when you open it up. We never needed A/C. We don't cook on vacation, but it looks like it has what you need if you do. It has an eclectic mix of glassware which we loved. Saw a whale from the balcony on our last morning. The only thing I would suggest is that they upgrade the lounges on the front balcony (one was broken) and the chairs on the back balcony. We mentioned it to the manager Karla and she said she was working on it. Overall this was exceptional. I would rent it again.

Family vacation

The property is just like pictured. The check in process was very easy and Karla was very helpful. The only thing is that the white towels that are to be used for the pool and beach need to be replaced. Some had holes and are worn out. Also the only bar at the property closes at 7 which we thought was a little too early.

The unit was absolutely beautiful. When we walked into the space it took her breath away. It was very clean, decorated beautifully, and the view was stunning. The owner and the property manager were very prompt returning all inquiries, and gave us recommendations on places to eat. Very satisfied!
