Wonderful

What an amazing time we had for our three week honeymoon. With the exception of the hurricane, lol, everything was fantastic. Great communication with John. Fantastic location, no issues with the resort. We even got to see turtle hatchlings get released on the beach. What an experience. Would 100% stay there again. A note for newcomers, you can have Walmart deliver your groceries to you. We packed some Ichiban noodles in our suitcase so that we had something to nibble on when we arrived. The fully equipped kitchen was very helpful for cooking meals in. Thank you John.

Breathtaking ocean view

The condo was clean and had a fantastic ocean view from the balcony. The owner John was very helpful and answered all of our questions quickly. The only problem I had was with resort staff. They treated the guests with bracelets unfairly from all inclusive resort guests. The pool staff refused to give a basketball to my son to play in the pool and said that only all inclusive guests could get it. Also, I didn’t like the fact that Vrbo guests were not allowed on the resort property after 8 pm. It’s a great condo but sadly part of a bad resort.

Awesome Ocean View!

Very nice property! Response from Property Manager is excellent! The only downside of this property relates to the very limited access to pool side lounge chairs. Of course, this is no fault of this property. It is necessay to claim a pool lounger early in the morning or you won't get one. The owners do provide three beach chairs and an umbrella for the beach. The Food Park across the street is a nice spot to grab a variety of good food. Highly recommend to stay at this Unit!

Great condo, bad resort

Great place with awesome views if you plan on staying inside. If you or your kids like to use the pool, especially in the evening then stay somewhere else. Pool closes at 7pm, no floats allowed especially if you’re Caucasian, security is selective on who has to follow their rules. And only Vrbo guest, not hotel guests, are required to wear a bracelet and thus treated as sub par guests everywhere on the property. Unfortunately the resort ruined my experience of a great condo on the inside.

Thanksgiving trip

My husband, 5 year old son and I enjoyed our stay at Las Glorias. The place was a great size for us 3 and the view is just gorgeous. We wouldn’t recommend the all inclusive at the hotel, just wasn’t worth the $$. I was surprised, in a good way, how many amazing places there were to walk to. We went to Soriana (grocery store) for food and drinks, went to the food truck park 3 times, and out in the neighborhood and the Romantic Zine with some of John’s great recommendations. Beware of the lagoon/river thing in front of the property that leads to the open ocean. Current is so strong and my son and I really struggled to get out of the water once the current pulled us into the ocean. We followed a ton of John’s advice - went to atms to get pesos, some places took credit cards with no issue, and used cabs to get around town. Would be back but minus the kid next time!

Just the way we pictured it

Wonderful stay, stunning views. Pictures do not do this place justice. We were here for a wedding on the property. A definite upgrade over the other guests rooms. Don’t bother with purchasing the “all inclusive” packages. They’re not worth it. Our friends said the food was awful. Walmart is a mile away and an easy walk (can back) for groceries. Grab some great grub from the Food Park (Food Truck) across the street and bring it back or eat at one of three wonderful, moderately priced Restaurants across the street. Our favourite was La Dolce. Bring or buy a collapsible cooler to keep your beer cold for around the pool or on the beach. Or grab a litre of Mageritas or Mojitos for $125 pesos We will definitely be staying here again when we return to PV.

The Kids Loved It!

We had a great time during our stay at this condo hotel. The room was exactly as shown in photos - beautiful! The view was incredible! Comfortable beds, lots of room for 4 of us to hang out during rainy moments. The kids had the best time swimming in the pool and buying coconuts and mangos on the beach. The highlight for the kids was when we bumped into a guy on the beach releasing baby sea turtles and he let the kids help! For meals we went to Sorianas (grocery store) and did most of our cooking in the room because we have picky kids. We purchased the all-inclusive option from the hotel one day but we didn’t feel it was worth the money for us because we don’t drink alcohol. We went out a few times to the awesome food truck park across from the condo - great food there and a l it the playground for the kids! The only issue to our stay was that as condo guests and not all-inclusive hotel guests the security wouldn’t let us watch the shows or be in the hotel area after 8pm. A minor thing but disappointing for the kids. If you purchase the all-inclusive pass you can still go to the shows. Thanks for a great stay!

Best location/Best Views

We loved it here. The people were so friendly and helpful. There is a mall next door and shopping on the premises. I had to visit the resort doctor but it was easy and not expensive. We loved the unit.

Great stay

The condo was just as described with wonderful views and well equipped unit. The communication prior to arrival was fantastic and everything was arranged well. We had a great stay. There are a few good restaurants and a nice food truck park nearby. There is no access to food on the property if you are not all inclusive so either stock the kitchen or be ready to explore a little- we had no troubles.

A wonderful stay

The room was exactly as pictured, even cuter. It was a great stay. The only caution is the coffee maker gave us a lot of trouble! It wouldn't have been a big deal (it still isn't) but we bought grounds and milk for morning coffee! Because of that, I take this stay down from a 100 to a 99%! Overall - wonderful!

Great place to stay - Internet SSID and password were wrong in welcome packet.

When I figured out the internet, it might as well been tin cans and string. Pitiful. I only needed to work 1 hour a day, but could not even do that. If you want to get away from work, this place is for you. I you need to check on things, your screwed.

Absolutely wonderful. Host was excellent and enhanced our stay 200%. Apartment was extremely clean and comfortable. We had everything necessary (and more) to make our stay the most enjoyable experience - so much so we didn't want to leave. Can’t wait to return that’s for sure.

Older property. All inclusive not worth the money if you choose that option. If you don’t buy the all inclusive you are only able to buy water and pop etc. at the little store on property. No coffee, food etc.

Beautiful condo!

We had a wonderful stay at John's condo in Puerto Vallarta. This was our sixth time traveling there. Usually we stay in all inclusive resorts, but due to the pandemic we decided to try a condo. This place has the most stunning view of the Banderas Bay. John has decorated it beautifully! We walked to the Malécon almost every day. So many restaurants to choose from and so many great meals and experiences. Be sure to try the Argentinian steakhouse across the street, we ate there twice. We will definitely stay there again!
