The facility and location are fabulous. We stayed a total of 11 days and had both units - the penthouse level has the pool and the lower level had a great balcony. The way the complex is situated, you have shade for most of the morning and early afternoon - which kept us from being sunburnt. We were able to see whales from the balconies on at least 8 of the days we were there. Easy walk to the downtown - but be warned the "up and over" of the hill between the beaches can be much if someone has mobility issues. This unit was one of the best supplied of any VRBO I have ever stayed in. The owners are great to communicate with, the staff on site are incredible, and we would stay here again without any hesitation.

This place was amazing! The view cannot be beat, the penthouse pool made for relaxing and private days. Both floors are well outfitted with everything you could need to cook and we appreciated the fantastic blender. The property was clean and secure. Hope to book it again next year.

Property was gorgeous, communication and service excellent. We went in shoulder season building was very quiet which was great for us. Enjoyed the private and public pools. Only negative is we thought it would be more walkable to town, but road has no sidewalks - Uber is reliable and inexpensive so no worries.

We stayed in the upper level of the penthouse for our wedding anniversary and babymoon, and it was unforgettable. The view was spectacular, the bed was very comfortable, and everything worked perfectly. Clive, the owner, personally contacted VRBO to fix a booking glitch, was so friendly, and gave us a great rate for the slow season.In August, the humidity was intense and the plunge pool was very warm, so we spent most days at the large, quiet shared pool. The downstairs restaurant served great breakfast and snacks (closed Mondays), but we wouldn’t recommend dinner. Our server, Anna, was fantastic—she recommended her husband, a chef who prepared an amazing private dinner, and also referred us to a massage therapist who gave a wonderful prenatal massage. Another gentleman at the restaurant also went above and beyond.Our concierge, Edgar, was outstanding—helping with arrival and departure, luggage, tracking down an air pump for our floats, and answering all our questions.Beautiful property, incredible staff, and personal touches made this a stay we’d happily repeat.

Excellent Vacation Getaway

This was my group's first time staying at this condominium property and we couldn't have been more pleased with every aspect of it. The place itself was amazing, the views were spectacular, including be able to see whales from our balcony; the hospitality from the concierge, the restaurant staff and the front gate attendants was always personable, informative and very accommodating. And the food at the on site restaurant was always delicious. We will definitely consider this place as a go-to location going forward. The location itself was also very convenient as it is just a brief walk down to beach access. I recommend this place very highly!

Sayan Beach Penthouse

This unit is in a fantastic location and the building was also great. The pools were sparkling clean, the restaurant had great food at reasonable prices and the staff and owners were very friendly. The unit was very nice and the Host has it stocked with every conceivable kitchen tool available and there is an endless supply of linens, towels and paper products. Unfortunately, we did find the description of the unit slightly misleading as the title implies "exquisite" which to us means perfect, which it is not. This unit is "tired" and needs attention to many of the basics. Upon our arrival we found that none of the ice makers were working, the island range did not self ignite (had to use a bbq lighter), the Weber BBQ igniter was also not working, the island range overhead lights were not working, the dishwasher did not work, the sound system of the TV in the den was broken, many pool tiles were missing and there were seven bags of laundry (from previous guests) in the foyer which sat there for 2 days.We did raise all the issues with the Host, who responded very quickly and got repairmen on site to fix things. However only half of the items were fixed and we had service staff in the unit on and off over the first five days of our two week stay. It was difficult for us to enjoy our family reunion with the number of interruptions.Don't get me wrong, we enjoyed our stay as the location is lovely/beautiful but the unit needs some serious attention to basic maintenance.

Fantastic condo!

This condo is exactly what we were looking for- quite and private. We rented the upper level with the pool. The condo was beautifully decorated and well maintained. The kitchen was fully equipped, beds were comfortable, plenty of extra bedding, towels, shampoo/soap. The pool was very clean and well maintained. Everyone in the condo building was very nice and welcoming. Checkin- checkout was simple. Correspondence with owner was prompt and pleasant. Really can't say enough good things about this property and we'll definitely be back.

Incredible vacation

This property is incredible. It is 100 times better than the photos even. The owner, Clive, was extremely helpful from start to finish. The location is perfect. It is just close enough to easily and quickly get places yet just far enough to be quiet, calm and peaceful. The unit is stocked and finished with every possible need and comfort. The onsite manager is very polite and helpful and helped throughout our stay with questions and recommendations. I cannot stress enough how great this property is.I will definitely stay here again.

Can't beat this condo and location

Our stay in Puerto Vallarta was great thanks in large part to this condo. The location is a 5 minute Uber/Lyft ride to the action yet the property is quiet and peaceful. It is nicely furnished and has some great art. The bedrooms are all very nice with private bathrooms. The pool area is fantastic and overlooks the ocean. There's lots of space to have privacy if you need it. The kitchen was well-equipped and there were lots of beach towels. The property management company referred a private chef to us and we hired him to celebrate a 35th wedding anniversary. It was excellent and a very special evening. Leading up to our stay, Clive, the owner was responsive and extremely helpful. We will definitely return to this condo! Thanks for such a wonderful vacation, Clive and Kim!

March Family Enjoyable Madness

Upscale, spacious, and well-appointed

Our stay was lovely. The penthouse is really 2 units, so there are plenty of dishes, pots and pans, refrigerator space, etc. The units are well-stocked with towels, paper products, shampoo, etc. the units are very nice and everything was better than expected with excellent air conditioning, decor, shower pressure, The gym was very good as well - free weights, some cardio machines, mats and the like. The location is good - walkable to the romantic area and make on, but not super-convenient for a quick walk to get a coffee or water. We did not rent a car, so trips “to town” were limited to a bigger outing to the beach or meals. 20-30 min walk to the los muertos pier. Ubers are plentiful and convenient- would recommend over a car service. The restaurant was under construction when we were there, but we did order takeaway. It was fine, nothing special. Make sure to bring lots of cash for housekeeping, airport transfer… you will pay in cash plus tips. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend and stay again

As perfect as perfect gets!

This was our first time visiting Puerto Vallarta and we loved it! And this penthouse condo is FABULOUS! The location is perfect! The view is amazing! The safety and security in the building is top notch! And, like everyone says, Miguel, the Property Manager is awesome! We loved our private pool on the top floor - that is extra special. The restaurant in the building is not only convenient but it has great food too. Our vacation was as good as it gets because we stayed at this wonderful property!

Celebrating my 60th birthday with my husband, 3 adult children and spouses and one year old grandson was perfect in the Sayan penthouse! The 4 bedrooms with bathrooms made privacy easy while the common areas, both inside and out, provided great spaces to enjoy each other’s company, eat, relax and swim! We saw whales, manta rays and turtles swimming by. Sitting on the deck just watching it all go by was wonderful! Miguel, the property manager, was very helpful before we arrived via email and then text, answered all our questions and helped secure reservations as well as transportation. The location of the unit makes it easy to walk to town or a cab/Uber is even faster! Overall, my entire family gives our time spent at Sayan 5 stars!

Perfect stay for our family

This was our first big vacation with our new baby and the place was perfect! We were traveling with our baby and older parents. The unit had everything we could ask for. The space was perfect. The private pool was amazing. Miguel was so helpful with answering any questions we had and helped organize a private chef to come prepare a dinnfer own night. Definitely would recommend!

The best ever!

After many many visits to PV, this was our favorite! The condo was even better than the listing. We had in-house massages, private chef one evening, played tennis and spent time in both the private and common pools. The restaurant did and cocktails were fabulous! Perfect Stay

This was the perfect place to turn 50 with friends! The penthouse was absolutely beautiful and fully equipped with everything you could possibly want or need. Miguel, the property manager was great. He was always there when we needed him. Miguel also arranged a chef to come in for the big evening and made an amazing dinner. Would highly recommend! Can’t say enough about Sayon Beach where the penthouse is located. Security was great and staff was wonderful! It’s just a short walk into romantic zone without being right in the middle of it. This property really does have it all!
