The house was incredible but what made the stay even better was the staff. They were welcoming and made sure we had everything we needed and more. The prepared meals, mixed drinks and overall service were remarkable. Lounging in the infinity pool with a cold drink in hand while taking in the gorgeous ocean view are going to be tough to beat!

This is a wonderful, warm, comfortable, hacienda style villa that very easily houses a party of up to 10 in five, in house, en suite bedrooms, including two spectacular primary bedrooms, one over the other, and a sixth bedroom accessed through a separate entrance that is suitable for a single person. The staff was top notch, anticipating needs, and ensuring a seamless experience. Both food and drink were excellent and always availalbe. I recommend highly for families or friend groups who want a relaxing setting with pool, spa, and lounging terrace, near to town, and a short flight of stairs to the beach and ocean. 10/10!

A Truly Unforgettable Family Vacation at Casa Caleta

Our family of eleven enjoyed an extraordinary stay at Casa Caleta, a stunning home with breathtaking views, spacious accommodations, and sunsets that felt magical each evening. The true standout was the dedicated house staff long‑tenured, attentive, and genuinely kind who made our stay feel effortless and luxurious. Chef Alex’s beautifully prepared meals and Job the mixologist’s creative cocktails and smoothies added unforgettable personal touches that elevated every moment.One area that fell noticeably short was the concierge service, where attention to detail is an absolute must. Unfortunately, our experience did not reflect that standard. For example, the concierge never checked in with us on day one to make sure everything was going smoothly. We had arranged through her for tickets to Rhythms of the Night, but we had to reach out ourselves on the day of the event to get our confirmation and port details. Reaching her by phone was never successful. In fact, the only times we saw the concierge in person were a very brief tour on day one and then again on our last day, when she approached us just 10 minutes before we were leaving for the airport to insist we complete a service form in front of staff. This felt awkward and poorly timed.Bottom line: Casa Caleta is a spectacular property with exceptional staff, offering an unforgettable experience that with improved concierge support could be truly flawless.

We loved the layout of the house. Everything was beautifully set up and comfortable in every way. The staff in the house were so kind, professional, and helpful. Trip of a lifetime!

We booked Casa Caleta with our children and their significant others. Everything was amazing, from the views to every detail from the staff. Alex was an amazing chef, and everything we requested was delicious. So much food… we never left the table hungry. Job was an excellent mixologist. Our oldest daughter really loved his espresso martinis!! Anna made sure everything was tidy in our rooms each day and greeted us in the mornings with our coffee. Sergio was so attentive. Checking in with us to make sure our house stay as well as our excursions were planned and taken care of each day. He gave local recommendations of beautiful places to see in the romantic zone in Puerto Vallarta as well as sharing his dream vacation to see snow some day. (We’re from MN, so told him he was welcome anytime to come experience that with us) And Jessica… our concierge. She was in touch with us through the very first steps of brainstorming our adventure, planning meals, sight seeing, etc,…everything was top notch! Our favorite adventure was whale watching. We did a 3 hour sunset tour and would highly recommend! Casa Caleta was a prime area as well to see the whales, almost daily, from the pool area. The beach was amazing, despite the rocks out front and we spent most of our time between the pool and beach, swimming, kayaking and body surfing. Would highly recommend staying here for so many reasons listed and not listed. A true gem!!

Awesome everything

This is one of the best vacations we have ever been on and the best VRBO we have ever stayed in. There were a total of 7 of us and the house had plenty of space. The pool, the view, and the staff were all perfect.

Trip of a lifetime!

This property was heaven! The villa was beautiful and had AC throughout which is so hard to find in PVR. The pool and beach were perfect. But the thing that truly set it apart was the staff. They were amazing! So kind and professional. This was a magical experience for our family, a once in a lifetime type of trip.

Unforgettable

This was a very special trip that we planned last minute. Everything came together and Brock allowed us to have a couple extra people. We had an unforgettable time at Casa Caleta. The property is beautiful, the views are amazing, the house is so clean and beautiful! The staff is exceptional and took great care of us. Alex and Yann cooked great meals for us, Job made us freshly squeezed orange juice every morning and incredible margaritas and smoothies in the afternoon. Anna and Mary were so efficient that we didn’t even know they had been in the rooms during breakfast making beds and tidying up the rooms. Anna noticed and brought a shower chair from her own home for my mom who needed it for her showers! Sergio helped us call taxis a few times and had the service man come on the same day to fix the jacuzzi. Jessica the concierge was kind, patient and organized. It was an amazing trip, one that we will never forget!

13 of us gathered to celebrate my mom’s 80th birthday at Casa Caleta. It was everything I hoped it would be! The house and setting are as beautiful as they appear, and the staff was amazing. Everything Jessica coordinated for us worked flawlessly, and everything Alex cooked for us was delicious. Wish we were still there!

Great Vacation!

Our family of 8, including 2 young children, thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Casa Caleta. The living space is spacious and comfortable, with multiple seating areas, both inside and outside, from which we enjoyed the ocean breeze and the beautiful sight and sound of the waves crashing onto the spectacular rock formations and beach. The bedrooms are spacious, with comfortable beds and walk-in closets. Our excellent staff (Alex, Job, Sergio, and Maria) served us great food and drinks and took care of our needs -- and they couldn't have been nicer to all 8 of us. The new concierge, Jessica, is a wonderful addition. We had multiple whale sightings from the house, which was a bonus.

50th Celebration

We had a group of 12 individuals who stayed at this exquisite residence to celebrate the 50th birthdays of three close friends. As soon as we entered through the impressive wooden doors, we immediately felt a sense of security. The staff was present upon our arrival, warmly welcoming us with refreshing drinks and snacks. Our skilled chef was in the process of preparing a delightful dinner that filled the air with delightful aromas. The entire premises were immaculate and well-prepared for our week-long stay. Sare, the individual handling our correspondence, promptly responded to every email I sent. She efficiently organized our transportation to and from the airport, as well as arranged massages for us. Her exceptional service was truly commendable. Job, our exceptional mixologist, effortlessly fulfilled all of our desires, even when our requests were demanding. Anna, our housekeeper, was incredibly kind, and her discreet presence did not disrupt our experience. We were pleasantly surprised to find our bedrooms tidied up and our laundry taken care of after breakfast. Alex, the exceptional chef, prepared meals that were beyond compare. While we did dine at a few restaurants, we ultimately preferred Alex's culinary creations. They were nothing short of exceptional. Let us not forget Sergio, our dedicated houseman who diligently transported our heavy luggage up and down the stairs. He promptly addressed any issues that needed attention. 5 Stars

A beautiful place to spend time with family.

Casa Caleta is located on a beautiful beach just south of Puerto Valarta. It has a floor plan that is perfect for families with large open spaces, perfect outdoor area with pool, hot tub and dining space. The staff is wonderful and each of them gave tried their best to make our stay perfect. The house manager was absolutely perfect; Every detail was handled. I highly recommend Casa Caleta.

Wonderful family time in a wonderful house and location. Staff was fabulous and very attentive. Chef prepared meals that were excellent, mixologist was creative, maid and houseman took care of our needs. Sare took great care of outside bookings and any questions that arose. Fabulous experience!
