Absolutely perfect vacation condo. In fact, the accommodations were even better in person than I expected based on pictures. The location is ideal, the condo grounds are immaculate and never crowded, and the unit itself was beyond comfortable.

Great Place - Great Location

Our stay here was excellent. You couldn't ask for a better location. The views were amazing, as well. The condo community grounds were well kept and the mostly owners there were happy to engage with an "outsider". The condo was as advertised and had everything you needed. However, we chose to eat out at some of the awesome places to eat just outside the gates. I highly recommend and would definitely come back.

Fantastic stay!

The condo was clean and well equipped with kitchen staples for a comfortable stay. We appreciated having two separate bathrooms as we were travelling with our teens. The highlight of the condo was the view from the deck and hearing the waves all day and night. We used the pool every day and it was clean. Our host Sally was friendly and checked in on us frequently.

Great location in Bucerias!

We loved this condo and the complex and area in Bucerias! The property manager Sally was fantastic and met us when we arrived and gave us a tour and specifics of what we needed to know for our stay. The condo was as advertised and perfect for my friend and I as we each had our own bedroom and bathroom. The condo was equipped with the majority of the basics you needed for the kitchen, pool or beach. Great view from the balcony, but one thing that would make it better would be more comfortable seating to sit outside and relax or read and enjoy the view. The condo complex was very secure with locked coded access from the street and the beach. Great pool area with a view overlooking the beach. Very friendly and helpful renters and residents. We loved the variety of restaurants, stores and markets all within walking distance. We would definitely recommend and return again!

Great place in Bucerias

We stayed at John’s condo for a week at the end of March. The town was lively with lots of Mexican visitors during Semana Santa but it didn’t feel overcrowded. We really enjoyed the location on a great spot on the beach and close to everything in Bucerias. The condo was clean, comfortable and well stocked with an awesome ocean view from the balcony. Sally, the on site manager, was very helpful and responsive. Communication with John was excellent from our initial enquiry through to our stay.

The loviest of Christmas stays in a beautiful beach front condo

We rented John’s lovely condo on the Colibri building for Christmas week December 2023. Our family, Mum Dad adult daughter, husband, 4 month old baby had a simply wonderful time. Check-in with Sally was a breeze, the location at the north end of restaurant row and right on the beach could not have been better and the condo was beautifully appointed and very, very comfortable of our inter-generational family of 5. I would be remiss if I did not mention how fabulous the terrace was and what a pleasure it was to sit out there in the evening watching the sunset and see the lights on the grounds come on. We hope to return in the future and thank you for welcoming us to your home.

Beautiful view

We enjoyed our 4 weeks staying in this lovely condo. The location was perfect for us. We were greeted by Sally when we arrived and she was always available if we had questions. We met a lot of nice Canadians as the pool was a great gathering place to cool off. Thanks!

This was the perfect location with a beautiful view and pool area. Walking distance to everything. Stocked with basic supplies plus loads of towels and other handy things. Host and manager are great people.

Quiet, lovely paradise

The condo was very clean and the location is beautiful and convenient. Unlike other places we’ve stayed in Mexico, it is very quiet. Everything felt very secure and the community is laid back. We are not really into partying, but it was close enough to the downtown area of Bucerias if you’re into that. Close to the bus line and taxi waiting area. We took the bus to Punta Mita one day then hiked monkey mountain. Very lovely! The beach on the property is wonderful too and goes for miles. Easy to swim in and warm water. Thanks John and thanks Sally for being so available when we had questions!

Definitely one of the best rental experiences that we’ve ever had. We were contacted the day before our arrival by the property manager with the relevant details and then we were met upon our arrival. The condominium was very well equipped with everything we needed and was in an excellent location with a very short walk to many restaurants. We definitely hope to go back.

Wonderful location...

From the moment we arrived, our stay at John's condo was just wonderful! It is within easy walking distance to restaurants, shopping, and the beach. The condo itself is comfortable and fully stocked with everything you need for a relaxing vacation. Sally was extremely helpful as were the cleaning and maintenance staff. What a great team! We look forward to staying at the condo again in the future.

As Advertised

Based on the previous reviews and pictures, we had high expectations and were not disappointed. The condo, view and location were great. It’s a short walk to town with numerous restaurants and street vendors. We found ourselves grabbing food “to go” and watching the sunset from the balcony. Also, Sally was incredibly helpful, even helping us arrange a ride to the airport and waiting to ensure it came. We definitely hope to be back in the future.

My Happy Place 🌴❤️

This is my second time staying in this Beautiful Condo ! The Owner makes the process so easy and welcoming! This truly is my “ Happy Place “ ! The location is awesome! Right on the edge of the town ! You can walk to everything! Nice Beach for swimming and just relaxing ! I spend a lot of time on the beautiful spacious balcony ! The Condo is well supplied, everything you need is here , including beach chairs and umbrellas! Sally the Property Mgr is a gem , is efficient and so welcoming! I am a single older woman , I always feel safe at the Condo and all of Bucerias! Hope to be back again soon ! Patricia ❤️

Fantastic Location

The property was just as it was described, it was very clean, comfortable and quiet, not to mention the great neighbors, so friendly and made us feel welcome. Sally was there to greet us and show us around and explain how everything worked, the pool was everything we could ask for. The location was perfect, walk outside the gate 50 feet and you were eating Italian food right on the beach, and more Restaurants all the way down the streets, the locals were great, and we looked forward to seeing them, whether we were just walking down the street or visiting their restaurants.

My husband and I stayed at Condo Del Mar at the Colibri for 12 days in May/June 2022. What a beautiful condo with an incredible view!! The pictures do not lie. The condo was spotless upon arriving and Sally (the Property Manager) met us at the condo to show us around and answer all our questions. She had the air conditioning turned on so it was nice and cool when we arrived. Sally was incredible to deal with and was very responsive if we had any questions. John (the owner) was also very responsive and answered all our questions leading up to the trip. There was one little issue while we were there (no one's fault) and Sally and John did everything they could to get it resolved quickly. The location is fantastic - right next to great restaurants, Bucerias town square the market as well as close to the bus stop. All in all would give this condo a "10" if I could and I hope we will be back soon to enjoy it again!

A little slice of Paradise

This was our 2nd trip to Bucerias where we stayed at the Colibri Condo and our first with John in 401. The rooms are spacious and decorated with taste and style. The various things that either make or break a vacation like this one: i.e., electricity, plumbing, laundry, appliances, beds, bathrooms and easy access to the beach, pool, restaurants and shopping are all covered. If you don't have a great time, it must be your fault.

All round great

The condo was very clean, comfortable and nicely decorated. The pool area was well set up and maintained. We swam in the ocean every day. It is close to many coffee shops and restaurants, of which we enjoyed many. We hope to get back in the near future!

Great condo and complex

We stayed at another unit in this complex and really liked it John’s condo is even better because everything worked and was as described. I really liked that the bathrooms in this side unit has windows as well. Can’t wait to return next December!

Paradise

This is the perfect place to stay in Bucerias! Really nice complex, friendly people ! I was in the beautiful infinity pool everyday ! Walk out the gate and you are on a gorgeous beach ! The Condo is beautifully decorated and has everything you need from the moment you walk in ! The View from the balcony is gorgeous ! The location is the best , far enough out of town for it to be peaceful, yet close to all the restaurants and Bars ! The Owner is great , easy to work with and his Condo Mgr Sally was a delight ! Great deal during the summer though it was hot. We had the whole complex to ourselves and enjoyed the evening thunderstorms. Only needed more water pressure for the showers.🔆
