Sandy Feet Retreat

  • Sink your feet into the sands of Mexico on a private beach! Rent this 2 bd, 2 Bath house right on the pristine beach of Playa Miramar, just 25 min. from Puerto Penasco (Rocky Point), Sonora, Mexico. Gated community with 24hr. security including beach patrol. This is an excellent way to escape your busy life and get away from it all. We are also by the Mayan Palace resort, where you can take a nice stroll on the beach and have a drink at the resort or even a special dinner. Please understand, that due to being in a third world country, the wi-fi can be spotty at times. However, for most of the time, the wi-fi is up and running.

The location was incredible, but the house itself was a little run down. The beds were old, the pillows stained, and the carpet felt dirty. A few basic upgrades would improve the experience.

A wonderful treat to our retreat

Our stay in Miramar was absolutely wonderful. The beach was peaceful, beautiful and clean. The owner Jan was such a delight, we thank you for letting us stay in your home.

We truly enjoyed our time here. Our dogs loved walking out to the beach, and playing. We had everything we needed here, and our host was very friendly and accommodating.

Sandy Retreat

The ability to step off your front porch and access the coast and water is amazing. The stars were so amazing, and the house is very comfortable. I look forward to my next trip there. We saw dolphins while in town getting lunch.

This was an incredible property for closeness to water and sand. I enjoyed walking out to the water line each morning and seeing the tide come in...amazing location.

Excellent home and location

The house has everything needed for a comfortable stay. The location is a little far from town but for me that's not a problem. I can't wait to go back. The host was great.

Exactly what we were looking for

This property is just what we were looking for! The house is right on the beach. It had a remote feel (which is a major plus for us) and we encountered very few people on the huge beach. The house and beds were comfortable and had what we needed.

Perfect getaway right on beach

We loved how close to the beach this place was. Beautiful view of the ocean from the living room and dining room. 30 minutes from town if you need to go shopping but away from the crowds of people. It is an older home but we loved the price. Would definitely stay here again.

Amazing location

We fell in love with his place! It is a little bit of a drive to get to it but you feel like you have a whole beach to yourself! It is a cozy, little beach house. The owner lives right next door and is so pleasant and helpful if there are any questions or you need anything. We are definitely coming back!

Great place if you like quiet.

Overall experience was great. Juanita, the owner was there and very accommodating. The beach was beautiful and was in a very quiet area. Down side was that it was about 1/2 hour into town.
