- Beautifully renovated 2nd floor 1 bedroom unit on two levels. Fully air-conditioned. Relax on the stunning tree-top patio on the third floor with large sliding doors opening to let in the breeze. Very private. Spacious king bed. A foldout bed is also in the living room. Large great-room style living space with a well-equipped kitchen on the second-floor entry level. Walking up the lovely staircase to your third-floor bedroom and patio. Free wi-fi and large, flat-screen TV. Refreshing shared pool with the 3 other units.
Great location! Quiet and relaxing. Easy 5-minute walk to the beach or stroll 15 minutes to all the fun restaurants around the town square. The Abbey office is just steps away with the bilingual staff there to meet all your needs. Just ask and our staff will help you plan your day excursions, snorkeling on the world-famous reef, or just lounging by the beach that is a short walk away.

Beautiful accommodation and perfect location
We had a fantastic time staying in puerto Morelos and the accommodation was perfect. Very close to the beach and in a quiet area. Will definitely go back and stay in the future.

Casa Sonoma by Abbey del Sol
Beautiful 2 floor villa, tastefully decorated on a quiet street. Fantastic service and assistance provided graciously by Millie, the property manager. Fully equipped kitchen made meal prep a pleasure.Views from the 2 private terraces were a great bonus.

stunning views, helpful and welcoming staff y muy tranquilo
It was evident to me that maintaining the grounds is a labor of love. The property is so beautiful. Also, everyone was so patient with me as I practiced speaking Spanish. Another plus was that bicycles were provided. The town square, restaurants, stores and beaches are very close so for me it was the perfect form of transportaion. Overall wonderful stay.

It’ll be hard to beat!
I kinda wanted to gate keep this place but it’s hard to when it’s so awesome. Perfect location, nice and quiet and a 15 minute walk to groceries, restaurants and cabs. The pictures don’t do it justice. Nice big and spacious the balconies on either side were great. Check in was super easy and the office is right around the corner so if you need anything it’s all right there. This place made our trip and was worth the little extra we spent. We’ll definitely be back again

A hotel where you can relax in nature away from the hustle and bustle. Spending time on the private terrace is the best feeling. Spending time listening to the voices of birds is very healing. Ms. Mariella, the receptionist, was very kind and helped us with taxi arrangements and other things during our stay. Thank you Mariella. I would like to stay again

Our experience at Casa Sonoma #4 was wonderful. So much space for a one bed/one bath with ample storage for one’s groceries, clothes, toiletries, etc.... Well equipped kitchen for those who may choose to cook (this lady wasn’t cooking on her vacation 😂). Huge water jug containing fresh water for drinking and free refills also. The Abbey del Sol staff was so wonderful and we always felt so welcome entering their office - every question and inquiry was met with respect and a quick response - the office staff arranged our snorkeling trip, cenote trip and many taxi rides (made us feel more safe than picking someone anonymously on the beach). Very kind and welcoming people at Abbey del Sol and Puerto Morelos - very respectful and kind, generous people.

Our beautiful condo had 2 terraces: a very spacious rooftop with view of the ocean and chaise lounges, table and 4 chairs and a terrace off the kitchen overlooking the quiet tree lined street. The bed was the best quality: firm but soft. Lots of windows for light and breezes with ac & fans back up. Note the condo is on 2 floors and bedroom is on top floor with no bathroom so nighttime visits going down & up 13 steps is the challenge! Staff went out of their way to accommodate us with check out time, taxi, help with luggage.

I fell in love with Casa Sonoma #4 during my recent stay! I have stayed at many many Abbey Del Sol properties and this one ranks as one of my favorites for sure! (They are truly ALL wonderful -Casa Zarah is also a DREAM-, you can’t go wrong with any of Abbey Del Sol’s properties). Casa Sonoma #4 is flooded with light from sun up to sun down (with black out curtains should you prefer a little shade). The windows are so plentiful all throughout the unit and the way the wind flows through them is truly magical. The views and terraces are unmatched. Ocean from one terrace, expansive jungle from the other, breathtaking sunsets, completely open sky and views overlooking Puerto Morelos as far as the eye can see. The strong breezes from the ocean keep the terraces comfortable even in the hottest temperatures. So so so clean 🤩! (All of the properties are). With the best pillows, thoughtful lighting and gorgeous tile throughout etc etc. Fully stocked kitchen. If you desire a quiet, peaceful and a zen vacation, I would highly recommend.
